Move Journey

Move Journey
Doa

Safira and I split up at the train station, he'll go back to Bogor and I'll go back to the Kebayoran area. I'm planning to move to Kebayoran because my campus will also move to the new Kebayoran area, while adapting to the environment here, tonight I'm staying at Aunt Risma's house, he's my father's sister and he's also the one who just happens to be helping me find a boarding house and a little stall here.

That night I rained down on my way from Ciledug to Kebayoran. The faces of the people inside the carriage all looked the same, showing a look of exhaustion. The capital is even too harsh for the elderly workers.

“Neng,” Said an elderly Father who was about 50 years old who had just boarded the car.

“Please sit Pak” I get up and give a place for the father to sit.

“Where to Neng?”

“Oh I want to Kebayoran new Pak”

“Be careful Neng” said the Father while raising a plastic on his lap.

“Bapak sale?” i'm asking.

“Iya Neng, this runs out of Tanah Abang shopping materials to make Koko” clothes

“Way where Sir?”

“Near Pondok Ranji Neng” Station

“when can I stop by sir?”

“Bby Neng, I love the Address ya” then he got up and searched a sling bag that was worn with his spirit the father wrote on a small paper and gave it to me. “This Address is yes Neng, the shop is small but if you want to find a cocoa shirt for his father or his brother there.”

“In sya Allah yes Sir, later if there is free time I stop by”

Then I parted with the Father because I had to get off at Kebayoran station while the father had to continue the journey to Pondok Ranji Station. That night there was a speck of hope created when I set my foot back to Kebayoran. About a prayer that I always say about my hope to one of the humans living in Kebayoran. A prayer that I did not get tired of saying for about 3 years.

“May your steps to fight for blessings and usefulness are always in the hands of Allah”

This place becomes a story for special humans on earth, not so high just being a human who is full of benefits and blessed every step of the way.

That night I sat at a stop waiting for my Cousin Brother to come and pick me up. The heavy rain was gone and replaced by a drizzle that still drenched the streets of the capital. I lamented the streets that are getting quieter with time. Although in fact, Jakarta never sleeps, the people in it do not stop making a living even though it is late at night.

If only, those people were active in worship as he was active in work. In fact, the world still remains the main goal of every human being. Until worship, in accordance with the right worldly activities will only end in the world.

“Is God not jealous? His sustenance comes from God, but we forget to thank Him.”

There is a prayer slip that I always ask every morning before leaving to do activities as a human being on this ambitious earth. I ask that every good step I take today be a blessing to anyone, whether me or those around me. I ask God to protect me from all the dangers that lie outside the house.

That night when I just came out of Kebayoran station, right next to the supermarket there was a middle-aged Father sitting in a raincoat while drinking coffee in plastic. At first I wanted to pass by, but it turned out that the Father saw me and he immediately got up to me.

“Punten Neng, want to go home?”

“Neng, want to ride ojek?” The father followed me from behind while continuing to offer his services to take me home.

“Bby deh Pak” Until I could not bear to refuse his desire to drive me home using his motorbike.

Then the father took me to his motorbike in the parking lot, he first asked me where I was going? But I answered only about 2 Km from the station only. Because my aunt's house isn't that far from Kebayoran station.

“Neng is a bit drizzling want to use an umbrella?” then he gave me an umbrella.

“Oh nothing sir. Just a little drizzle of kok” 'cause I'm used to the rain, so for me it's no big deal.

Along the way to my house and Dad met, then he told me about his life. His name is Mr. Toto, he says he is almost 55 years old and has a son who is still in college at my age.

“Son Father went to college because he got a Neng scholarship, only far away in Malang. You have to send money for him to eat, even though he said you need to send, Just thought father continue there he ate what? How sleep? Mankanya Mr. Ngojek because Mr. only can this. Because you have to send money even a little” I quietly listen to every story Mr. Toto who willingly shared with me tonight.

"The dream of the Father only wants if the children of the Father can be a pioneer of minimal change for their own family, do not be stupid like the Father, if the Father is only elementary school, Junior High School, the child must be S2. Because now mah Neng, if only graduated High School just shy tea. What's it gonna be?"

I got slapped by the cold night and the story gave me goosebumps. It's not scary, but I feel like I'm lucky enough to be human. My mother has not worked a bone slam even though my father has gone to the creator first. Luckily, my three older brothers had completed their education and were able to get jobs to meet their daily needs.

Actually whatever is important is His enough, not much or little. Because many people have a lot of money, but still lack. Because what matters is the adequacy. My mother always said that the sustenance was picked up to meet the needs of many people. When we have more sustenance, God gives us a chance to give others sustenance. Indeed, from every sustenance we can have the rights of orphans, the poor, and the dhuafa.

“Boy also female Neng. Having a Daughter is a glory in itself for the Father, because it could be that the Daughter can attract her Parents to heaven in her way. Mankanya, the ideals of parents if it's the head of five pinta his complicated, just want his descendants to be human who live and gather together again in heaven"

I was immediately reminded by my father, who had not even had the chance to feel My Life in the World. My father who really wants his son to go to heaven, instead his son also wants to go to heaven along with a figure whose sweat is intended for his survival.

"Sir, may the footsteps of the father be a witness if in this world you do good to make your daughter happy. Sir, may the Hand of the Father be a witness if in this world the Father has worked all day to meet the needs of the Father's Daughter. Sir, may one day in the afterlife the son of the father be the one who can draw the hand of the Father into the heaven of God. I doain yes sir, hopefully the spaciousness of the chest of the Father in the past days, can bring blessing to the Father in the days ahead."

If my father were still in the world, maybe every day I would pray for him. For his tiredness, for his effort, for his sweat, for everything he has done. God gave my father his best, rest.

"Hatur nohun his good prayer Neng, mugi saterusna Neng meunangkeun soul mate nu Bageur. Sing tiasa ngabimbing dugi ka afterlife ."

"Aamiin allahuma Aamiin"

And Mr. Toto drove me to the front of the house. It was like being driven home by my father, until I finally got off the bike with a body that shook from the cold and also because of the longing to be embraced by my father.

"Thank you, sir." I said while giving the fare to the Father.

"Together yes Neng, hopefully his good move today will be a blessing for many people. May also Gusti Allah bestow many of His Ridho for Neng" said Pak Toto who is typical of Sunda Banget.

There's an unexpected lesson today. That we don't know who we're meeting today? And we also don't know what we're going to get from a meeting without a plan. Because I know, everything that happened today wasn't just a coincidence. We are met by many people to learn a lesson. Recognizing the world from the other side is one of the additional lessons to again increase the gratitude that this self is lucky enough.

And Mr. Toto also prayed for me in between his little stories, as well as me who helped create a hope for his old age. That night, under the slowly falling rain, I hope one of our prayers is answered.
