Upon his arrival at the hospital, Dev immediately moved Agya's body from his cradle to the top of the gurney, then immediately pushed the gurney with long steps towards the ICU room with several nurses. The man's eyes were reddened by the tears that kept flowing, the more fear filled his face now.

"Please wait outside." Dev's footsteps came to a halt, slowly removing Agya's hand and allowing his wife into the ICU room to receive immediate treatment. Even he who directly contacted his in-laws to tell the state of Agya.

"What happened to my wife Della, why did she suddenly faint and bleed on her nose?!" Dev's gaze turned to Della and secretary Kim who had just approached him. Della's face was still filled with fear even her tears were still flowing.

"Relax sir." said secretary Kim.

"How am I supposed to calm down when my wife is in there Kim?!" he stared intently at his secretary.

"What have you done to my wife Della?!" Dev again shouted at Della who was silent and did not respond. The man's face flushed red from the anger that filled him, he blamed Della for what happened to his current wife.

"Sir, relax!!" exclaimed secretary Kim, did not accept Dev's treatment of his lover.

"Della is completely innocent. And you don't deserve to blame him!!" coined. Dev was instantly speechless, the man's attention shifted to the female doctor who had just walked out of the ICU room.

"So, what happened to my wife? How's her condition now? Is she okay, doc?" dev approached the female doctor.

"What is the patient's husband?"

"Yes doc, I'm her husband."

"The condition of the patient is getting weaker, cancer cells have spread in some organs of his body, namely the uterus, is less likely to survive. And a major operation will be performed soon to save the baby that the patient has conceived."

"Cancer?" Dev repeated the woman's doctor's words with widened eyes, "Dok, aren't you wrong? My wife doesn't have any disease." - Deny Dev.

"Do you not know at all? The patient has terminal blood cancer."

Dev shook his head along with his tears that came back to drip. "Cannot be. Doc, you must have misdiagnosed. Earlier my wife was fine, where maybe the disease was growing in her body--."

"Master, the doctor didn't misdiagnose. Miss Agya really has blood cancer" secretary Kim patted her young master's shoulder gently.

"No." cried Dev dropping both knees on the floor, he covered his face with one of his hands, letting his tears flow. Wh why? Why does the disease have to grow on Agya's body? Why?!!

"Master. Miss Agya's baby must be rescued immediately" said secretary Kim holding the young master's shoulder, he was also very surprised when he heard Della's story about the illness suffered by Agya. Indeed, he did not expect Agya would suffer from this malignant disease.

Dev shook his head, his body felt paralyzed, his strength suddenly disappeared. His heart that he felt stopped beating.

"Sir."

"I can't do anything Kim."

"Sir, there are still two little angels who want to see the world immediately. Didn't you think of them? There's no other choice, sir, if we don't take action immediately, you'll lose three people at once" secretary Kim said, trying to build Dev's strength.

"Please come with me to sign your operation agreement. We don't have much time" said the woman's doctor, he felt sorry to see her patient's husband so devastated.

"I'll accompany you, sir." Secretary Kim said, looking at Dev who was trying to get up.

"No need. Stay here, my in-laws will be here soon, I can't explain anything to them" he said wiping his water, before he followed the woman's doctor's footsteps into his room.

Not long after, Mrs Inayah and Mr. Darwin came to the ICU room with a step that was stirred, concern filled the faces of both.

"Where's Agya? How's he doing now?" Not yet had time to catch his breath, Mr. Darwin immediately asked the news of his only child to Secretary Kim. He has absolutely no idea what happened. Dev calls her and tells her that Agya has been rushed to the hospital.

"Miss Agya is still in the ICU room, for her condition-." Secretary Kim did not continue, the man sighed, he could not tell Agya's condition to his parents.

"What happened to Agya?"

"A major operation will be carried out to save Miss Agya's baby."

"What about Agya?" Mr. Darwin kept urging secretary Kim. None of the men answered his question.

"By, Agyaa." Madam Inayah covered her mouth, along with a clear liquid that started to pour on her face.

"Didn't Agya tell you?" asked Mr. Darwin, he tried to look tough. While deep inside, the feeling is being torn apart.

Madam Inayah shook her head, "Agya told me nothing." he said.

"Pa, is Agya going to leave us like her sister? Are we going to lose our son again? I-I don't want Pa."

"Dear." Mr. Darwin grabbed his wife's body and immediately hugged her, and her cries broke. There is no human being who will not cry when he receives news like this.

"Everything will be fine" he added, peeping at the top of his wife's head.

Before then the attention of Mrs Inayah and Mr Darwin turned to Dev who walked towards them with reddened eyes.

"Son." didn't say much, Madame Inayah immediately hugged her daughter-in-law's body. Just like him, Dev must have been hit a lot harder.

"I'm not ready to lose my wife." Dev took off his embrace, looking at his mother-in-law with a sad look. He was totally unprepared to lose Agya, he didn't want that to happen.

"Nobody is ever ready to lose a son" said Mr. Darwin.

"But why should Agya Pa, why should she suffer? He managed to hide this disease from us. Why is he hiding it?!"

"We never know why Agya hid her illness. We'll try to save her, once your baby is saved."

Dev nodded, "Agya will soon be operated on, but-." Dev's eyes closed, the words of the doctor who treated Agya again filled his head.

"The operation was very risky and it was likely that Agya's life could not be saved" he said wiping his nose while wiping his tears. His chest felt tight now, would he really lose the woman he loved so much? Why would God give such a big trial?

"Mr Dev, the patient will be immediately transferred to the operating room" said the woman's doctor approached Dev and his family.

Dev turned his head, "Dok, can I see my wife before being transferred to the operating room? I wanted to meet him even if it was just one minute" he said.

"Master, but only one man can enter."

"Come on Dev." asked Madame Inayah who immediately answered a nod by Dev. The man immediately ran into the ICU followed by the woman's doctor behind him.

Once again Dev's eyes closed again, his chest tightened when he saw Agya lying weakly on the hospital bed with an oxygen hose in his mouth that helped him breathe.

"Dear." Dev's lips trembled, his tears increasingly pouring profusely. He grabbed Agya's hand and kissed her long enough.

"Why did this have to happen, baby? Didn't you promise not to leave me again? Don't you feel sorry for me? Gyaa, are you tired of taking care of me?" Dev's tears grew uncontrollable, the man turned to look at Agya's pale face, before he landed a kiss on both of his wife's eyelids.

"You said you loved me so much, didn't you? Why do you want to leave me and just give up? Where love is Gyaa. Show me that you love me so much. I don't want to know, you have to get through this Gyaaa. I'm waiting for you, I'm waiting for you to wake up and smile at me again." Like a madman, Dev continued to talk to his wife, so that no tears flowed down his wife's face.

"Sir, Miss Agya must be moved now" said the woman's doctor.

Dev nodded, slowly taking off Agya's hand, but before that he whispered something in his wife's ear.

"I'll be waiting for you outside, you should come back to me in good health and I'll greet you with a hug."
