Mr. Dev (CEO of Seoul)

Mr. Dev (CEO of Seoul)
I'm your husband

Day after day Agya passed so heavily. Before a spinal cord transplant, the woman should have chemotherapy every day with the aim of inhibiting the spread of cancer cells, and curing the cancer as a whole. But behind that, Agya had to accept side effects that were not light, slowly his body felt weak and weakened, even his hair began to fall.

"Dev, my hair." Agya's eyes glazed when she saw her hair that was almost gone, even her scalp was very clear now.

"Honey." powerless to see his wife crying, Dev immediately hugged the woman as he kissed the top of his head, letting Agya cry in his arms.

Almost every day Agya always behaved so, until the day before he did a spinal cord transplant. Agya decided to shave her hair, although she did not let it go, but there was no other choice.

"It." Dev put the shaver on the nightstand before he turned to look at his wife's face, "It's still very pretty" she said, gently stroking Agya's face with a warm smile that extended to her lips.

"It's my turn now." Dev took back the shaver and started shaving his own hair.

"Devs." Agya shook her head, her eyes widened in shock. "Don't do that."

"I'm your husband and you're my wife. Whatever you feel, I'll feel it too."

Hearing Dev's words just now made Agya powerless to hold back her tears. This Dev love her? The man was willing to do everything for her. Caring for her every day without complaining, even today, she also shaved her hair.

"I'm sorry, Dev." Agya's tears flowed more and more, she felt very guilty to her husband.

"Sstttt baby, you don't have to apologize. Isn't this how it should be? I'm so happy to see you survive this far. I will also do anything so you can stay with me forever" she said, grabbing Agya's body into her arms. He really loved his wife very much, shaving his hair until it was not a big deal for him.

Today is the day Agya and her family are waiting for. The day he'll do a spinal cord transplant.

"I love you so much." Dev blurted while peeking at Agya's forehead before the woman was brought in by the nurse into the operating room. But before that Agya had to do various examinations ranging from medical history and overall physical examination to bone marrow biopsy.

After doing the examination, Agya was declared ready to undergo a spinal cord transplant.

The atmosphere in front of the operating room looked so tense and gripping. As well as Dev who was so agitated, his heart was pounding twice as fast.

"Agya will be fine" said Mr. Andhito patted Dev slowly on the shoulder, trying to dampen the anxiety in his son.

"Ehm. I-I'm also sure Agya will be fine." Although it was sure, anxiety and fear still surrounded the man, considering the events of a month ago where Agya was almost gone.

"How are my kids, Pa? We haven't had a video call in a long time."

"They're fine, they're growing really well and getting adorable."

"Thank God. Maybe after this transplant works, Agya and I can't go straight home. It took him 3 months to recover."

"It's okay. Focus on your wife Dev's recovery, no need to worry about your children, many take care of them."

"Thank you Pa." said Dev smiling. Before then he refocused on the operating room door.

After almost three hours in front of the operating room with a heart that continues to beat fast, Dev finally can feel the atmosphere of happiness after hearing the words of doctor Axel who just came out of the operating room.

"Happy master, Miss Agya's bone marrow transplant was successful."

Hearing the happy news, Dev immediately jumped up in excitement with a smile that expands widely.

"By, Agyaa." Dev turned to look at his papa then hugged the middle-aged man along with the clear liquid flowing from both of his eye fertilizers. After sacrificing so much and doing so much work, Agya will finally be healed, they will continue to be together and share love. Dev swore he would love his wife at any moment, he would not give her any injury.

"We succeeded dear." said Mr. Darwin with teary eyes. He immediately embraced the body of his favorite daughter after the woman was moved to the nursery.

"Thank you Pa. If papa doesn't donate papa's spinal cord. Maybe I can't heal and I'll be gone."

"Honey, it's papa's duty to help you. Papa is very happy." The hug on Agya's body felt tighter.

"Papa loves you very much. Hopefully after this, no more problems will come" he said landing a warm kiss on the top of his favorite child's head and then taking off his arms.

"But Pa, do I still look beautiful with my appearance like this? I'm afraid Dev doesn't like me anymore."

"Where might I not like you." added Dev walked into Agya's nursery followed by Mr. Andhito behind him.

"After what I did for you, you still doubt my love?"

Agya shook her head, "I-I'm just not confident with how I look right now."

"I've always loved you Gyaa, no matter what you look like" he rubbed the top of his wife's head with a smile. Trying to convince Agya if he really loves his wife.

"I'm sorry Dev. I always bother you." Agya sobbed, immersing her body into the arms of her husband. "I love you so much, I'm sorry I always doubted you Dev. I'm sorry."

"Ssttt darling." Dev rubbed Agya's back while slapping her shoulder. "There's no need to apologize" he said.

Long enough the two hugged each other, until finally the hug slowly came off as a nurse walked into Agya's ward, told Agya to rest and give some medicine for her.

"Rest." said Mr. Andhito rubbed his daughter-in-law's shoulder. He also felt happy, seeing his daughter-in-law who could recover from the malignant disease he suffered even though not completely because the woman had to undergo several more stages for his recovery.

Agya nodded slowly, "Thank you Pa."

"Either. Papa will be returning to Korea today. Take care of yourself."

"Yeah Pa. There was Dev who always took good care of me." said Agya staring at Dev who was standing next to the bed.

Really, if there's no Dev there, it's somehow as messy as his life. Dev is a very responsible husband, he is like a good angel sent by God to guard him.

For more than a month in the hospital, the man took care of him so well that there was a sense of enthusiasm to heal in him.
