The bias of the morning sunlight that entered through the sidelines of the window curtain made Dev more and more close his eyes as well as Agya. It felt like they wanted to stay in this position, embrace each other and were so reluctant to let go of each other.
"I love you." As usual, the sentence was always the morning opener for the two people who were drunk with love. Dev moved rubbing the so shady bareface Agya, then buried a brief kiss on her lips.
"What time is it?" slowly Agya's eyelids came off until now Dev's face filled his gaze, a warm smile greeted him.
"At 7 in the morning."
"Oh." Agya nods her head, looking fixedly at Dev's face before venturing out to ask a question that she already knows the answer to, "Ehm Dev, are we really going to live in a separate place?"
"We talked about this last night and you agreed to it, baby. Don't ruin my morning by talking about it."
Agya immediately fell silent, she did not dare to take out a word again and preferred to immerse her face in the chest of Dev's field that was not covered by a thread, sniffing the scent of her husband's body that had made her opiate. Is this their last meeting? Is Dev really not able to stay with her anymore? Everything feels crowded if imagined.
The man who always welcomes his morning with a warm smile and the word love will never see him again? Will he not receive a warm welcome from the man he loves so much? Wh why? Why does destiny always play tricks on their relationship like this?!
Both of Agya's eyes again closed when their chatter last night again haunts his memory.
"Wilantara Group is in need of me, many people who want to take it down and even take it from me and Papa, I mean my uncle and also Mr. Alden. Gyaa, actually I don't want any of this to happen. I don't want to sacrifice you and our marriage, but I have no other choice."
"I understand Dev. I approve of all your papa's plans, I'll leave you if that's all I can do to defend your career and Wilantara Group."
"Geez, that's not what I meant!" grunts Dev frustratedly, "We've only been separated for a while, and that doesn't mean we won't meet forever."
"Yes, I understand."
"What do you understand? You always misunderstand my words, you stupid girl." chirped Dev flicked his wife's forehead to make Agya complain.
"I'm sorry if I'm a selfish husband." Dev continued, grabbing Agya's body and holding her, "I don't mean to hide you but I have to do that now. I have to follow Papa's advice by doing all this, pretending that we've split up to draw Mr. Alden's sympathy so that he actually chooses me to be president."
"That means we're gonna keep pretending we don't have a relationship anymore until you're elected president." Agya looked up at Dev with a sad look.
Dev nodded, "Just the next few months, after which we will be back together forever. There's not gonna be anything to disturb our relationship anymore, Alenaa."
"What if your plan doesn't work? What if after you've been appointed president, Mr Alden will marry you to Alenaa?"
"Dear." Dev catches Agya's two hands that are almost out of his arms. Then he cupped his wife's sad face, "That's not going to happen, me and papa are trying to gather evidence to prove Mr. Alden's rot. He's done a lot of harm to the company, but he's so smart that he's lost track of his actions that we can't kneel him."
"Then what can you do to prove that Dev? I'm afraid, I'm afraid you didn't make it. I'm afraid you're leaving me." Agya sobbed, she hated this so much.
"Ssttt darling." Dev immediately grabbed Agya's body, stroking her female hair gently. Allowing Agya to cry to vent her feelings.
Don't ask me if Dev is frustrated now. If not for wanting to save Wilantara Group and also his Mama, he would not want to follow his papa's plan.
"Dev, I-I'm really scared, I love you so much Dev, I don't want to lose you." Agya continued to sob, it felt like he wanted to take Dev away to a city that was not populated so that no one would disturb their relationship, but he should not be selfish. The family and the company that raised her husband's name are in need now.
"Do you want to go back to Indonesia? You can stay with your parents for a while, so you'll feel better."
"No." Agya took off her embrace and shook her head slowly, "I can't leave you in this condition, even though you can't see me all the time but at least you can meet me when you need me. But if I were in Indonesia, you wouldn't be able to see me at all" she said wiping away her tears.
"You sure?" Agya nodded.
"I love you so much, baby." said Dev, kissed Agya on the forehead and hugged her back.
"Are we not going home tomorrow? Then I'll just go back to my apartment."
"No, you'll stay here, I'll stay in the Big House. I'll come here once in a while to see you."
"But what if someone sees you? especially the reporters? They will definitely get more excited and make the timeline careless like today, and maybe from tomorrow they will always follow wherever you go. Oh one more thing, you're definitely gonna be with Alenaa all day." Agya pursed her lips, she really did not like Dev spending his time with Alenaa. But that's what's going to happen over the next few months.
"Eat only. I was so wasted on being eaten by you." said Agya slashing his eyes, as if defiant.
*
"Darling, what do you think hm? Why are you daydreaming?" Dev stroked Agya's face when his wife did not respond to him several times.
"Eh, nothing."
"Are you thinking about us?" tanyanya stared fixedly at Agya's face while rubbing gently on his wife's cheeks.
Agya nodded, her eyes glazed over now, "Dev, can we linger here? We won't see you again later this afternoon."
"Close." said Dev, immediately Agya shifted her body closer to Dev's side, then she went back into the warm embrace of her husband.
"Cancel all my schedules this morning, I'll be at the office later this afternoon."
After sending the short message to Secretary Kim, Dev immediately put his phone on the nightstand, before then he again kissed the top of Agya's head while hugging back the tiny body very tightly.
Allow them to spend longer before they actually breathe different air.

"Where's Dev?!" Alenaa, who had just walked out of Dev's study, approached Secretary Kim when she could not find her future husband there.
"I don't know miss." replied Secretary Kim showing her cold face.
"You don't know? Don't lie to me fucking secretary!"
"I'm not as good at lying as a lady. Will you teach me that?"
Glue, glue,
Alenaa. Damn it, Secretary Kim has just issued a sentence to poke him.
"Dev must be with that street woman. Tell me, where do they live?"
"Miss Alenaa, it looks like you need a mirror. Are the mirrors in the lady's house so small? I can buy a bigger mirror for the lady so that in addition to the pores of the lady look, the dirty attitude of the lady can also be seen at any time."
"Close your mouth! How dare you say to me. I'm gonna report you to Dev to get him to fire you, he doesn't need a fucking secretary like you."
"Please." Secretary Kim revealed a faint smile from the corner of her lips. "What if I report you, miss, don't think that I don't know what you did in Daegu last night" she whispered right in Alenaa's left ear, to make the woman goosebumps with eyes that are wide-set.
Secretary Kim is really a big threat to him. Wait a minute, does Secretary Kim also know about Della's death? No, he can't know.
"Why are you surprised hm? Miss should be more careful about doing things."
"The scoundrel" said Alenaa, pushing the chest of Secretary Kim's field away from him, before then he passed away with a shunt and heart condition that was not okay. He should contact Jio immediately to let the man know if Secretary Kim found out about them last night.
