"Does Ze want ice cream?"
Zea nodded. Not as enthusiastic as usual. Ersad and Syma still understand that. They had agreed, to return the old Zea. Full of joy.
After buying ice cream. Ersad took them both to a tomb. Where is Erika's final resting place.
"Why are we here?"
"Papa will show you something" said Ersad smiling and carrying Zea's small hand. The other hand held Syma's hand tightly.
"Ze, meet Erika."
Of course the little boy was confused. Why did his father introduce him to the grave?
Ersad goes back, where he saw the confusion of Zea. "Erika is Papa's best friend. He is always there for Papa when he is down. She's a good woman, very good."
"Why is he there?"
"Because it's time for him to be there. It was his final resting place."
"Is Erika okay in the ground?"
"Call Mama, baby. Mama Erika," said Syma to teach courtesy to her son. Zea repeated her question.
"Yes. Papa's sure he's okay. More than a good word. Maybe he's in the most beautiful place there right now." Ersad spoke as he looked at the grave with a warm smile engraved on his face.
"Is there such a place inside?"
"Of course there is. Inside there will be a door that will connect someone both places. The first is a door full of light and the second is a door full of darkness. Because Erika was a good woman, Papa was sure she must have walked into that light-filled door."
"Can Ze get in there too?"
"of course. But Ze has to be a good boy first. Papa's sure Ze's gonna get in there later."
Syma just stared at them with a feeling of airiness. He did not think that Zea and Ersad's relationship could be this close.
Then his attention was distracted, when he heard Ersad as if he was talking to Erika right now.
"Erika. Thank you for ever being a part of my life. I'm lucky to have you. Never could I have imagined that our meeting was so short. To be honest I still can't accept your departure."
This time Syma could not deny there was a sense of tightness in her chest. How could Ersad say that in front of Syma. Can't Ersad just keep his feelings a little.
But Syma immediately dismissed all kinds of bad thoughts in him. Although Syma was aware of who she was, she could no longer hear him. Syma prefers to return to the car with Zea. Letting Ersad speak more comfortably with Erika.
"But that was before. Now I'm completely willing to let you go. Because I realized, there was someone else who deserved that position more in my heart. The woman who is currently pregnant with my son. Sometimes I think that fate is playing games with me. For making me lose the woman I love again.
But I was wrong. Apparently destiny is just playing its part. Made me lose you, and replaced with a shalihah woman like Syma."
Unfortunately when the speech came out of Ersad's mouth. Syma was no longer there. He was sitting restlessly in the car while holding back the tightness that was still encircling him.
'Erica was the first woman that Mas Ersad loved. It will be very difficult to forget. Yes Robb.. help me not to have the nature of hasad and greedy. In the world alone I've been jealous like this, how will it end when my husband is mobbed by angels?'
"Why didn't you come in the car to tell me?" Ersad's voice suddenly broke Syma's daydream.
"Em, I was tired. But I don't want to bother you either" he said grumbling.
"Next time don't do it again. You don't know how worried I was."
"Sorry," he-squeer.
"We're going home now."
"Say?" Ersad folded his arms around his chest when he saw who had come to see them. Revan stood there with a flat look. He doesn't like every time he's faced with Ersad.
"I miss Zea."
Ersad raised his eyebrows. "Hindu? You haven't seen him in three days. Not a month, let alone a year," he said.
"But I'm his real father. Just like Syma, I can't be too long with my son either."
"No. Get out of here right now. Who told you to be his real father" he openly kicked it out.
Revan can't be cut out. His eyes stared intently at Ersad as if he wanted to throw this man into the deepest ocean.
Luck seems to be taking Revan's side. Syma suddenly came to see them.
"Revan?" Syma looked at the two of them in turn. "Why stand here? come on in, Zea's learning."
Syma's words made Ersad now look at her. "can't. Anyway he has to go, his wife must be worried at home."
"Who said? Mia even knew I came here to see Zea." Revan stopped his speech, and passed Ersad just like that. "Tell me where is Zea, Syma?"
"How dare you play in people's houses !"
"Already Mas. Let Revan see his son. I know what it's like to be away from a kid. And anyway, there is a home. If it's not there, of course I can't let it in." Syma tried to give understanding to her husband with tenderness.
Of course, Revan cheered happily to hear it. His eyes were clear, that he was mocking Ersad all out.
"Alright, but don't get close to the man. Who knows, which shaman he came to get you entangled with his words later !"
Syma chuckles amusedly. But he gave up on arguing.
"alright. I'll call Zea first."
When Syma was no longer among them. A gripping silence is happening. The Cold War between them was inevitable.
Ersad even deliberately let Revan stand without telling him to sit down. His eagle eyes did not escape Revan who seemed to not care about his presence there.
"Don't you think I don't know with your cunning wits. You're not here for Zea, are you. But also Syma," Ersad accused him.
Seringai Revan was suddenly etched clear. He knew very well how to provoke Ersad into getting annoyed. After all, it is undeniable that Ersad's words have a point.
"A hundred for you" he answered with a smile.
"Bad.... "
"Dad?" zea's small voice, made them suddenly stop showing hostility to each other. Of course because Ersad didn't want Zea to ask a lot of things that would make him dizzy.
Now their attention was only on Zea and Syma who came closer.
"Ze played with dad first huh. Mother will tell Mina to make you drink."
"Tell Mina to poison her drink" whispered Ersad in Syma's ear. Revan could still hear it.
"Mass..... "
