"Thus ... Sir Sean is your husband's personal assistant, Lin?" imelda asked with round eyes after knowing who Erlan really was.
Alina chuckles softly. "Yes, Mel. Mr. Sean is Mas Erlan's personal assistant."
Imelda suddenly fell silent and her gaze turned sad. Suddenly he remembered the incident where Sean saved himself from Chandra's rampage at that time.
"I owe it to Mr. Sean, Alina. If Mr. Sean hadn't helped me from Chandra's rampage back then, maybe my baby and I would have been calm by God's side by now."
"Oh my goodness, Mel. Why not report it to the authorities? Chandra deserves to be punished because he has committed the KDRT to you" said Alina.
Imelda smiled wryly as she returned the gaze of Alina who was now looking at her with a serious look.
"I think I deserve such treatment, Lin. All this time I realized, the evil deeds that I did to you were even more painful than the punishment I received at this time. And I don't think this punishment is worth my evil deeds, either" said Imelda with teary eyes looking back at Alina.
Alina grabbed Imelda's hand and held it tightly. "Don't say that, Mel. Don't keep punishing yourself. I'm sincere and I hope you can forget about that too. Now, we better focus on our future. You're with your little baby and I'm with my little family" Alina said.
"Thank you, Alina. I don't know what else to say" said Imelda, who now hugged Alina tightly.
"Yes, that's over. Don't you feel that my little one is protesting again for being stuck, '" teased Alina.
"Ehm, yes. I'm sorry." Imelda immediately released Alina's body while chuckling softly.
After being satisfied talking with Imelda, Alina pleaded and then approached Bu Dita who was still talking with her husband and Erlan was still in the other corner of the room.
"Bu Dita," said Alina as she grabbed the middle-aged woman's hand.
Bu Dita gasped in shock and immediately turned to Alina then hugged the tiny body of the girl while crying softly. "I'm sorry, son. I haven't trusted your words all this time."
Alina smiled and returned a warm embrace of Bu Dita that she had not felt for a long time. "It's okay, Mom. Mom, don't let your arms slip, 'cause I still miss Mom's hug."
"Yes, Son. Of course," said Bu Dita while kissing the top of Alina's head many times.
Long enough Alina was silent in the warm embrace of Bu Dita that she had not felt for a long time. Imelda looked at the two from a distance with a small smile. He knew that Alina and her mother's relationship had been close for a long time. However, because of his incitement, Ms. Dita even followed by not believing the girl's words.
"Either. Oh yeah, do you want to see baby Imelda? Let me anterin," take Ms. Dita.
Alina turned to Erlan who was still talking with Heri. Erlan gave a small nod as a sign that he was allowing his little wife to follow Bu Dita to the NICU room to see their first grandchild.
"Come, Mom." Alina followed in Bu Dita's footsteps, leading her to the NICU room, where the tiny baby was still weakly rolled away.
Upon arrival in the room, Alina and Bu Dita are shocked by Sean's presence there. The man stood in front of the incubator watching the tiny baby with a sad face.
"Mr Sean?" greet Mom Dita with a small smile looking at Sean.
Sean gasped in shock after hearing Bu Dita's voice greeting him. He turned around while putting a smile to Bu Dita who was not alone. Except with Alina, the boss' favorite little wife.
"Ehm, Ms. Dita, Miss Alina." Sean looked awkward when he sat down with the two women. "I'm sorry, Ms. Dita, for not asking Mom for permission to visit her first" Sean continued.
"Ah, it's okay, sir. On the contrary, I am very moved because you are willing to take the time to visit my grandchild" said Bu Dita with teary eyes.
Sean nodded slowly and then said goodbye to the two other women of the generation. After Sean left the room, Alina immediately approached the incubator with a sad look.
His heart ached when he saw Imelda baby who was still in critical condition and needed intensive care that was longer than other babies.
"This is how it is, Alina." Bu Dita again shed tears while staring at his little grandson who was struggling to survive with the help of various medical equipment attached to his tiny body.
"Had it been healthy, the doctor said there was a high chance the baby would have been paralyzed. Because until now his tiny legs do not respond when touched," continued Bu Dita while sobbing.
Alina gently stroked Bu Dita's vibrating shoulder. "Patience to you, Mom. I hope there is a miracle for this beautiful baby. Because nothing is impossible if God has willed" said Alina.
"Amen. You're right, son."
