The arrival of Olivia

"How, Sean? Did you get any news about the girl from Mr Joseph?" asked Erlan from across the phone.

Sean was confused as to how to explain it to Erlan. Sean did not get any information from Mr. Joseph because the man died before he could meet him.

"Ehm, Sir. Actually .... when I visited the residence of Mr. Joseph, it turns out that the man had died of heart disease that he suffered so far. I didn't even get any information about the girl, Mr. Erlan. Forgive me," Sean said with his head bowed to the floor.

"What?!" screeched Erlan with round eyes.  "Mr Joseph is dead? Yes, God ... How is this? My only hope is Mr. Joseph, Sean. No one knows who the girl is, other than Mr. Joseph," Erlan continued in a panic.

"I'm sorry, sir." Sean really felt guilty because this was the first time he had failed to do the task Erlan had given him.

Erlan dropped herself onto the sofa while exhaling a heavy breath. "It's not your fault, Sean. I was just upset because I was too slow to act. If ... akh! I'm really sorry," complained Erlan.

Sean looked at Erlan's face back then and rightly, the man seemed to be truly regretful.

Suddenly the door of the room opened and a beautiful woman in a sexy dress was entering the room with a warm smile.

The woman stepped on her legs like a model walking on the catwalk. Beautiful and very graceful, making anyone who saw it fascinated. But unfortunately that doesn't apply to Erlan and Sean. The two men seemed to have grown tired of the presence of the beautiful woman.

"Hi, Honey! What's up," said Olivia as she approached Erlan and tried to put her warm kiss on the man's cheek.

However, Erlan refused and pushed the woman slowly away from him.

"Well what else are you here for, Olivia?"

Olivia bent her face upset because this was the umpteenth time Erlan refused to be touched by him.

"Erlan, please! Right now I'm still your wife, you can't act like that to me" she said with teary eyes looking at Erlan who didn't want to return her gaze at all.

Seeing the uncomfortable situation, Sean immediately came out of the room leaving Erlan with his wife.

"You shouldn't make things difficult for yourself, Olivia. Just sign the divorce papers and start your new life" said Erlan with a face that began to saturate.

"How can you forgive my mistakes, Erlan? No man is perfect without making mistakes, including me." Olivia rested her head on Erlan's shoulders while tightly hugging the man's burly arms.

"I've forgiven all your mistakes, Olivia. But, to start our relationship like it used to be again, it feels impossible. I can't" Erlan replied, still with his full face.

"Erlan ...." Olivia raised her head to look at Erlan's face.

He got up and walked to the door of the room and opened it. Erlan invited Olivia to come out immediately using only a hand gesture. Olivia was really upset, she bent her face as she stepped out of the room.

"I'll never sign that divorce papers anytime, Erlan! Never will" Olivia said.

Erlan could only exhale heavily while watching Olivia who had already gone away and disappeared from her sight.

"I don't understand what the woman really wants. He could have asked the man to marry her, didn't the man also come from a distinguished family?" geruru Erlans.

Erlan watched Sean sitting pensively smiling to himself, like an ABG in love. Erlan was so curious as to what the assistant was thinking.

"Heh, Sean?! Why are you smiling like that, is there something funny?" asked Erlan astonished.

Sean's daydreams broke, he smiled then got up from his seat. Now Sean follows Erlan from behind, to his Big Boss' royal seat.

"Yesterday, before I arrived at the residence of the late Mr. Joseph, I experienced an incident that I thought was really strange, Sir."

Erlan flicked her lips while looking in wonder at the assistant. "really?"

"Yes, Sir. At the crucial moment, I still had time to help a girl who tried to commit suicide by hanging on the edge of the bridge."

Erlan threw herself into her beloved soft chair while watching Sean sitting at his desk.

"In short thought of the girl, did she not care about her life? What was the reason he wanted to kill himself?" continued Erlan.

"His name is Alina, she's a very young girl, beautiful and so innocent in my opinion" Sean said.

"Alina .. such a beautiful name," Erlan murmured while imagining the face of the girl who had been haunting his mind all along. A girl who is always present in her dreams.
