"Miss, please don't do that!"
The man approached Alina then extended his hand to Alina who was ready to slide towards the swift river water flowing under the bridge.
Alina turned to the man for a moment and smiled wryly.
"I have no reason to live. Both my parents are dead, and so is the man who was supposed to be responsible and marry me, and he has left me forever," lirih Alina while staring blankly at the water flowing very rapidly under her body.
"Don't say that, Miss! Any religion in the world has never justified suicide. Now, undo your intentions and welcome my hand," persuaded the man as he continued to approach.
Alina did not answer, she was still hanging on the edge of the bridge by just holding on to the barrier. Without Alina realizing it, the man ended up being right behind Alina and managed to grab both hands of the girl.
Alina who was aghast, grew increasingly violent. He tried to remove the man's hand from his hand.
"Let go of my hand!" alina said as she shed her tears.
"Never will! Return, Miss. You are too young to die!" snapped the man while holding Alina's body which started moving wildly on the edge of the bridge.
The man had started to get overwhelmed against Alina who was constantly in revolt and tried to let go of her handrails.
"Stop moving, Miss! Or we'll fall and die together!" said the man who was starting to get overwhelmed to face Alina.
"I don't care!" sahut Alina's.
"But I care. Instead of dying together, I would rather live together. I'm willing to marry you and be your husband, Miss!" Suddenly the words came out of his mouth without him noticing.
Alina who had been in revolt suddenly fell silent. He watched the man's face carefully. When Alina fell silent, the man did not waste the opportunity.
The man managed to grab onto Alina's tiny body then carried her quickly back to safety.
Applause and cheers echoed in the place. The road users who deliberately stopped to see the incident, were so happy that the man managed to thwart Alina's plans to commit suicide.
"Are you okay, Miss?" ask the man.
Alina did not answer. He tidied up his messy clothes then continued his steps. However, the man still did not believe in Alina. She was afraid that Alina would do it again.
He came back to Alina and grabbed her hand and took her to his car.
"Come with me, Miss. I'll take you home" he said, leading Alina to the car.
"I don't want to" Alina refused.
But the man doesn't care. He continued to lead Alina into the car and after the girl got in, he immediately followed her.
"Where are we going now? here or there?" ask the man while pointing, right or left.
Alina watched the road and she pointed to the right. "Through here. Thank you for taking me home, sir." Alina threw her blank look towards the road.
"My name is Sean Abraham. Just call me, Sean," said the man, smiling at Alina.
"Yes. You don't have to call me Master anymore, just Sean. That you?"
Alina was silent for a moment before she answered the man's question. "Iina." Very short and solid answer.
On the way, Alina just kept quiet in her own mind. Only occasionally did he open his lips as Sean asked the direction of the road to his residence.
"Alina, I'm sorry about that. I don't know why those words just slid off my lips. Maybe it's because I'm freaking out and the one in my head just wants you to be safe, that's all," Sean said suddenly with a guilty look.
Alina smiled faintly and her blank gaze remained fixed towards the front. "It's okay. I know you're not serious when you say it. No one would marry a girl like me, Mr. Sean. Don't marry me, just look at me, they're disgusted."
Sean furrowed his brows, astonished. "What's the matter, Alina? Why are you talking like that? Not good" said Sean.
Alina exhaled heavily and now her attention was on Sean who was still looking at her in wonder.
"I'm pregnant right now and the man who owned me has just died. Now I'm really desperate, Mr. Sean. Villagers no longer care about me, every day I become their gossip. Instead of living like this, I'd rather just die" Alina said as she shed her tears.
Now Sean knows why Alina wanted to commit suicide. He was truly feeling pity and wanted to do something that could help ease the burden of the little girl.
"What can I do for you, Alina? I'd love to help and ease your burden" Sean said.
Alina smiled again and this time the girl's smile looked more sincere than before. "No, Mr. Sean. Now I owe you a debt of gratitude because you saved my life" Alina said.
Finally the car driven by Sean arrived in front of a simple house, the relics of his Father and Mother. After Alina gets out of the car, Sean catches up with her.
"Siran, come in. Let me make you a drink," Alina asked with a warm smile looking at the grown man standing before her.
"Maybe next time, Alina. Today I can't because I have an important assignment from my Boss. But, I promise to visit you when I have some free time."
Sean grabs his wallet and gives Alina his business card. "If you need anything, call me at that number. I'm ready to help you anytime Alina."
Alina welcomes Sean's business card from the man's hand. "Thank you very much, Mr. Sean."
Sean got back in his car and got out of there. While Alina was still silent in front of her house while paying attention to Sean's business card.
It turns out that the neighbors julidnya peeked together Alina and Sean from inside their house. After Sean disappeared, they flocked out of the house.
"God! Instead of being aware, his behavior even more. The land in his mother's grave has not dried up, now his daughter has begun to dare to invite men to play at home. Hmm, maybe next time it will be even worse, it could be even more unlucky that this village was made!" ketus a Mother-Mother beside Alina's house while leaving her waist.
Alina looked at the woman for a moment. "Mom has a daughter too, right? Better take care of your daughter. Don't worry about me because karma is for sure, Mom."
After saying that, Alina again stepped inside the house and locked the door. The mothers were very upset that Alina had dared to go against her words.
"Based on the bad girl, hopefully you will be raided by the citizens, let's know the taste!" the upset.
