Sean's Journey

As he wishes, Sean visits the city of X to check on the renovation work of Alina's residence and wants to spy on the girl who has the heart to sell Alina to Mr. Joseph, on that fateful night.

After going through a tiring journey, Sean finally arrived at the village where Alina lived. After parking his car, Sean rushed out and approached Alina's residence which had changed completely.

Sean smiled satisfied to see the results of the renovation of the simple building. The man looked at each side of the building in detail while continuing to smile on his face.

"How did it go, Mr Sean? Do you think Mr Erlan would like it?" One of the workers approached Sean who had now entered the building.

"Yes, the results of your work are truly satisfying and I am sure that even Mr. Erlan will be satisfied after seeing the results" Sean said as he patted the man's shoulder slowly.

The man smiled. He looks so happy because the results of his work and also his men are not in vain. After being satisfied to talk with Sean, the man returned to continue his work which remained a little longer.

After being satisfied at that place, Sean decided to meet one of his men at a cafe that is quite famous in the city. After 20 minutes of travel, Sean arrived in front of the cafe.

Sean circled his gaze around the cafe until Sean's gaze stopped on a man who was waving at him.

The man smiled and Sean recognized him so much. Yes, he is one of Sean's men who gets the task of finding information about Imelda. After finding out where the man was, Sean immediately approached him.

"Mr Sean," said the man as he extended his hand to Sean.

Sean immediately welcomed the man's hand and sat down on one of the empty seats available at the table.

"Hows it? Did you manage to gather information about the girl?" sean asked with a serious face looking at the man.

"Yes, of course, Mr. Sean." The man smiled and then grabbed a file from the bag he had placed next to his body.

"Here you go, sir." He hands the file into Sean's hands and Sean welcomes him quickly.

Sean opened the file and then watched it closely. Sean's facial expression seemed fickle, describing how his thoughts and feelings were at that moment.

After reading the file to the end, Sean developed a faint smile on his face. "Hmmm, that's a surprise."

Sean put the file on the table, still with a faint smile on his face. "It turns out he is married and the man who married him is the son of Mr. Agung Lesmana, Marketing Manager at Mr. Erlan's company."

"She said their marriage was deliberately hidden, Mr. Sean. The Great Lord's family did not even attend their wedding because the Great Lord and the Wife did not want the marriage very much. The relatives present at their wedding were only from the family side of Mr Heri, the girl's parents," the man explained.

Sean raised both of his eyebrows and his smile instantly disappeared just then. "I want to see the girl" Sean said.

"Ehm, but for what, sir?" asked the man with eyebrows that were clinging to each other.

"I want to know what a woman's true nature is. I don't know why I'm curious" said Sean.

An hour later.

"It seems I have to find an inn. It's dark soon and I'm still relaxing here" Sean murmured as he glanced at the fancy watch coiled around his wrist.

"Chek in at Hotel XX only, sir. It's the best hotel in town."

Sean raised his eyebrows again with a faint smile. "That hotel is the one where Mr. Erlan and Miss Alina first met with an equally unconscious state," Sean said.

"May your advice too. Yeah, already. I say goodbye and thank you for the drink" Sean said, rising from his seat.

"Ehm .. yes, sir. Equally," said the man as he scratched his non-itchy head. After Sean disappeared from his sight, the man muttered.

"Huf! Boss is stingy, on the other hand he's the one who deals. Uh, you know I have to pay too" he muttered, shaking his head.
