Chapter.10 Engagement

Arne prepares to appear in Aini and Boy's engagement. Although his heartache is still felt, but Arne should not be afraid and defeated by the pain. Arne was determined to face it bravely.

Kenzi accompanied her to a dress at the boutique, while Nino just sat down and drove them to the boutique.

"What about this one?" ask Kenzi.

"It was too open, later I was judged cheap" said Arne.

"Hmm. yasudah let's look again" said Kenzi.

"Ken, how about this red one?" ask Arne.

"Wow.. Are you sure you want to wear this?" ask Kenzi.

"Yes, for everyone to see me, that's my goal" Arne said.

"It looks like you've got a plan, and this dress is pretty elegant" Kenzi said.

"Try it" said Kenzi.

"OK.." said Arne then went to the fitting room.

Arne came out with the red dress.

"Goddessa..! you're amazing Arne." said Kenzi.

"My choice wasn't wrong, was it?" ask Arne.

"Yes, you chose the dress boldly" said Kenzi.

Even Nino who saw him just gave his thumb. All dresses are the same.

Then Arne also paid for the dress, and looked for some accessories that were suitable for her. Aided by Kenzi who chose him, Arne also became more enthusiastic and happy.

Then they took a break at a cafe because they were tired. Kenzi and Arne are still excited, while Nino has given up following the two girls.

"Do you still want to walk again? I'm tired." said Nino.

"Nino, that woman is like shopping" said Kenzi.

"I asked because I'm not a woman" Nino said.

"Ken, we better let Nino go home" Arne said.

"Well, if you're tired, you can go home" Kenzi said.

"OK. I agree, after my drink runs out I'll go home" said Nino.

"Later I'll take you home, Ken." said Arne.

After preparing everything neatly, Arne was just waiting for H day. When H day, Arne also prepares and goes to the salon that has been ordered by Kenzi, Arne also wants to prove to Aini and Boy that he can rise. And also to her papa that without her papa Arne would be fine.

Arne is also in the make over at the salon and wears the dress she chose with Kenzi. After everything was neat, Arne also looked at herself in front of the mirror. Everyone praised her as beautiful and amazing in that bold red dress.

"Not everyone can wear a red dress." said the makeup artist.

"Thank you." said Arne smiling.

"You'll be the center of attention if it's too pretty like this" he said again.

Arne smiled because that was the goal. He wanted to be the center of attention for Aini and Boy, and his father who could throw it away for other women.

"Look, I'll show you my fangs." muttered Arne inwardly.

Arne goes to Aini and Boy's party in a new car given by Jakson. He deliberately chose a red dress to match his car and look bold with the color.

Arne enters her home where she grew up. Many memories of the house make Arne sad if you realize what is happening now. But being sad won't change things because her dad still chose her and Aini's affair.

Arne also parked the car and opened the roof of his car to make all the attention on him. Some of the servants greeted him because they had not seen him for a long time.

"Welcome, miss.."

"I'm glad to see you again."

"Thank you, am I late?" ask Arne.

"Not really, because the show just started 5 minutes ago" said the waiter.

"Okay, I'm going in" said Arne smiling at them.

Arne deliberately came a bit late to be able to see them directly without the need to wait. And Jakson immediately recognized his grandson and asked him to be nearby.

"Arne, you're finally here" Jakson said.

"Sure cake." said Arne.

While several pairs of eyes were staring at Arne who was wearing a red dress that made her the center of attention.

"Don't stay away from me. They can hurt you" Jakson said.

"Good cake" said Arne.

Arne sat down near her grandfather and watched the event begin. Richard sees Arne in the distance with his father Jakson. His longing for his daughter was slightly treated, although Arne still chose his mother.

After that, event after event began including the event of pairing rings on the couple's fingers. Arne saw her a second time and felt like she wanted to vomit.

"Arne are you okay?" ask Jakson.

"I'm just a nauseous cake. I have to go to the toilet" Arne said.

Then Arne wanted to go back to his seat. There Jakson was talking to someone. As Arne approaches Arne recognizes the man.

"Arne, come here. Grandpa will introduce you to Anderson" Jakson said.

"You were at the hotel at the time, right?" ask Arne.

"Yes, we met in Bali yesterday. My name is Anderson." he said.

"Arne, greetings." said Arne.

"It's good that you've met" Jakson said.

"He's my grandson, he's just about to become a doctor. May he be like you." said Jakson.

"Well, as long as he tries, he can" Anderson said.

Arne was more silent and listened to the chatter of Anderson and his grandfather. Then they went to greet Richard and congratulate him.

As Arne walks all eyes towards her, a beautiful woman in a bold red dress. Even everyone seemed to smile at Arne's beauty. From a distance, Boy looked at him and it made Aini a little jealous.

"Boy, what did you see?" ask Aini.

"That's Arne, he's very brave to come here" Boy said.

"Ck. don't lie, he's just looking for your attention." said Aini.

Arne kept walking towards them. Arne also greeted his father who had not even contacted him for days.

"Hello pa.. How are you? I'm surprised you asked me to come here." said Arne.

"It looks like you're okay, because your grandfather loves you" Richard said.

"That's how it looks like papa's fine." said Arne.

"Of course I noticed my only granddaughter.. You just threw it away." said Jakson.

"Dad." said Richard.

"Please talk to my grandfather and congratulate Aini and Boy" Arne said.

Arne stepped towards Aini and Boy. Without hesitation, he immediately congratulated the two.

While Boy was glued to see Arne who looked very beautiful and graceful that night.

"Boy, are you drunk? " asked Arne to see him speechless.

"Yes, congratulations" said Arne and left.

Aini who was upset to see the stunning appearance of Arne and even to make Boy fixated was not staying still. He even stepped on the tail of Arne's dress and made her almost fall. Lucky Anderson saw him immediately help him not to fall.

"aah." said Arne surprised.

Breekk.. The tail of her dress was torn.

"UPss.I'm sorry Arne I didn't see it." said Aini.

"It looks like you're gonna have to check your eyes into the hospital" said Anderson, who knew it was intentional.

While Arne was trying to calm down with her torn dress on the back.

"No problem, I can still buy him a dozen if I want" Arne told Aini.

"Thank you Mr. Anderson. don't have to be served his words better we go there" said Arne invites Anderson to go.

Anderson accompanies Arne because Jakson is still arguing with Richard.

"How about a drink?" ask Anderson.

"I can't drink alcohol, don't try to take me there if you don't want to deal with my grandfather" Arne said.

"I'm just kidding, you don't have to treat me to thank you" Anderson said.

"Yes according to your wishes, sir." said Arne.

In the other corner, Boy looked at Arne who was chatting with the man. His heart was upset to see her, especially Arne is very beautiful tonight.

"Ck.. Why after breaking up does she look so beautiful? am I sorry I chose Aini now?" muttered Boy in the heart.
