Chapter.24 Humiliate yourself

After Anderson mediated the incident, he reported Richard and his wife for the mistreatment of Arne and defamation of his superiors.

And to prove the fact, Aini was examined by an obstetrician. The result left Richard and Martha half-dead embarrassed. Not only has Arne slandered but also opened up Aini's pregnant disgrace outside of marriage.

While Arne was smiling, he was surprised at what happened to Aini and asked Richard and Martha to speak seriously. But all they did was slander him and humiliate him.

Aini was conscious and surprised to be in the hospital. He was trembling to see the look on Richard's face that seemed annoyed looking at him. So does Martha who looks upset at her attitude.

"Ck. You take care of Aini until she gets home. I'm tired" Richard said.

Richard walked out of Aini's room and looked emotional. Moreover, he again and again blamed Arne for this. Even Arne got a hard slap from Martha.

Arne was going around checking on patients and passing by his father. Arne just greeted him and continued his work.

"Arne can we talk?" ask Richard.

"Other times, I'm busy pa." Arne replied.

"I'm sorry for that" Richard said.

"I'm used to being the scapegoat for Aini." Arne replied and left Richard.

Richard felt even more guilty about his attitude towards Arne. And the day their relationship grew. Plus Arne is very busy as a resident doctor, which makes Richard unable to freely meet him.
