Chapter.28 Meet old love

That day, Jeny took Arne around and bought her daughter the things she needed. Arne also seems to be an adult and not much to buy things like before. His attitude is also only buying things as necessary.

Jeny was just smiling to see Arne who was getting older and wiser. Moreover, the heavy things they have experienced lately. And neither Jeny nor Arne have the time together because both are still actively working.

"Mama, I don't want to shop anymore" Arne said.

"Mama..how long is it?" ask Arne.

"That's my daughter, she's been waiting for me. See you later" Jeny said.

"Yes." Sammy smiled back at Jeny and walked over to her daughter.

While Arne only greeted him because he thought Sammy was an acquaintance of his mother.

"Mama. her groceries at the cashier are done." said Arne.

"Oh so, let's pay" said Jeny.

"I paid for it. Yes I waited for my mom to be scolded by people" said Arne.

"I'm sorry son, mama will change." said Jeny.

"No, I also pay with my grandfather's card" Arne smiled.

"Ck. You use it carefully" said Jeny.

"Relax ma. everything is safe" said Arne smiling.

After they finished their last transaction, Jeny took care of her groceries and put them in the car. Then Arne had booked a place at a place to eat, along with the choice of the menu. Until the moment Jeny arrived, the food was ready and there was no need to bother looking for a place.

"Well, you're smart." said Jeny.

"Of course ma." Arne smiled back.

"Ma, that guy was your mom's acquaintance?" ask Arne.

"Yes, you could say so.. What's the matter dear? you familiar?" ask Jeny.

"Where is possible" said Arne.

"It turns out so.." said Arne.

Then the two of them ate together and enjoyed their day off like friends. Moreover, moments like this are very rare where Jeny and Arne vacation on the same day.

Meanwhile, at the other table was Richard and Martha eating together. They enjoyed their day off as well, and it was when Marta met Jeny at Richard's store that she was at another store.

At the other table, Sammy sat down and enjoyed the meal. He was quite surprised to see Richard with other women. Wanted to greet her but their relationship in the past was quite bad.

Sammy was just silent, and pretended not to know Richard even though in his heart was quite upset to think Richard was cheating on Jeny.

The next day, Arne returned to work and met with Prof.Sammuel who he met yesterday at the mall. Sammy will be the new professor to replace the retired professor. When Arne was introduced to know that his mother's acquaintance was extraordinary.

"What's the matter prof?" asked Arne confused.

"I don't know what happened to your family yesterday I saw your father eating with another woman" Sammy said.

Arne took a deep breath after hearing it.

"Maybe the professor doesn't know about my family at the moment, but the fact is that my parents divorced a few months ago and maybe the prof saw it was his new wife yesterday" Arne said.

"So soon did Richard remarry?" sammybtak believes.

"Yes, and that woman was his mistress all along. I think I know enough about my family" said Arne.

"I'm sorry if I'm so curious, I have no ill intentions." said Sammy.

"Thank you prof for caring about my mom" said Arne.

"Yes, as an old friend" said Sammy.

Sammy and Arne walk together in a hospital hallway. Arne also tells Sammy about some of the rooms. And they're running into Rafli. The old man began to look for opportunities.

"Arne, how was your day?" ask Rafli.

"Very bad sir." replied Arne.

"Really, then welcome prof Sammuel, I hope you're at home working here" Rafli said.

"Yes, I'm trying to socialize with this new doctor" said Sammy.

"All right, Arne can we talk?" ask Rafli.

"What's the matter, sir?" ask Arne.

"Yes a few things" said Rafli.

"I'm sorry, I had to take prof Anderson to the operating room and check on the patient" Arne said.

"Come to my room when you have time" said Rafli and left.

After that Arne breathed.

"What's wrong with you and Mr. Rafli.?" ask Sammy suspiciously.

"He's a land crocodile" Arne said.

"Travel crocodile? meaning?" ask Sammy.

Then Arne looked around before telling the truth.

"Geez, you have to be careful, let me know if you need any help" Sammy said.

"Thank you prof, it might come in handy later" Arne said.

"Alright, I went to see prof Anderson first huh." said Arne then met Anderson to prepare for the operating room.

While Sammy begins to get suspicious of the system at this hospital. How can there be such a superior to his subordinates. She feels sorry for Arne, not to mention after knowing the fact that Jeny's most beautiful ex has just divorced from her husband.

Just now, was it time to approach Jeny again?? But Sammy realized that things were not the same. Jeny must have put her daughter first. And his daughter is his co-worker. Although it is undeniable Sammy still loves Jeny and hopes to have a chance with the woman he still loves until now.
