Chapter.34 Caught

Jakson was upset after the dinner incident. He was sure that both Martha and Aini were troublemakers on his show. Until the old man investigates the waiter who almost spilled soup on Jeny and Arne.

The man forced the restaurant owner to interrogate his servant. And in a slightly rude manner, the waiter admitted that he was paid by Martha to pour the soup over to Jeny. It was revealed after the Jakson men threatened to imprison him if it was discovered by his people.

Finally the servant resigned and afraid of being imprisoned, he chose to be honest. Then the waiter was fired from his job for ruining the image of the restaurant.

And Jakson himself knew that Martha was not a good daughter-in-law to him. Maybe one day Martha will get rid of him for his property.

Jakson goes through his plans and sends a gift to his son-in-law to invite him to dinner with Richard.

Martha who received an expensive bag was excited not to play and she already felt managed to take the heart of her father-in-law. Martha immediately informed Richard of this. She was so happy that she was finally considered the daughter-in-law of this family.

That evening, the three of them had dinner at an Italian restaurant. There Jakson was waiting for the two of them.

"Sorry our father is a little late because it's stuck" Richard told a lie when this was because Martha was dressing up for too long.

The dishes one by one went in order and they ate quietly. No language seemed to confuse Richard or Martha at all.

In order to take her father-in-law's heart, Martha opened a conversation.

"Thank God, I'm glad to hear that I just sent the same bag to Jeny" Jakson said.

"Who did it, Dad?" ask Richard.

"Until the end the waiter didn't confess, because I was tired I just asked him to be fired" Jakson said.

At once Martha was relieved because she thought her father-in-law did not know who did it. And Jakson was aware of Martha's every move and expression.

"What's wrong with you Martha? you look sweaty." said Jakson.

"I feel a little sultry" said Martha.

"When we are already in an expensive restaurant with air-conditioned room" said Jakson.

"I was just nervous about meeting the father of three with Richard" she replied.

"Oh so that's it. You should just relax I'm not a bad person." Jakson replied.

Martha grew nervous as Jakson spoke. And Richard caught his wife's strange girly. As dinner ended, Richard spoke to his wife.

"Why did you look so nervous?" ask Richard.

"I'm just. It's the first time you've called both of us." said Martha.

"just that? but until you sweat like a scared person." Richard said.

"Yes I was a little scared after I got upset with Aini. I was afraid that Aini would get scolded again for having a mother like me." said Martha.

"You are a good wife" Richard said.

"Thank you." Martha replied.

"The way Grandfather smelled the earth was talking about the goddamn waitress I got scared to death." said Martha inwardly.

While Jakson knew and saw clearly Martha's fear tonight. He also believes that Martha can do dirty things. Now it's just a matter of checking Aini's words, because she thinks Arne can't say such a bad thing to Aini. Even Arne doesn't really care even though she knows her ex-lover is marrying Aini.

Elsewhere, Kenzi was in front of his laptop. He sent an email with anonymous initials to Rafli's email. An email containing evidence of Rafli's crimes during this time and threats for the old man to confess his actions.

"Let's see what you'll do after reading it." Kenzi murmured inwardly.

An email threatening to make the old man feel unsettled and confess all his deeds. And Kenzi did just that because his older cousin became one of his victims even to the point of severe depression and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

Meanwhile, Rafli who got the email immediately opened it. His eyes glared and his mouth saw all the evidence of his crimes that had been sent by someone with an anonymous identity.
