Chapter 74 The Tony Movement

Tony also noticed the closeness of Arne and Anderson are getting closer. They are almost always everywhere together. It made him a little disturbed even though he knew being third person was a bad deed.

But to satisfy his ambitions Tony was no problem being the third person in the relationship Arne and Anderson. The man started to move closer to Arne.

Later that afternoon Arne was called into his room.

"Excuse me.." said Arne.

"Please come in" said Tony.

"What did you call me?" ask Arne.

"I just want to ask if you're busy after work?" ask Tony.

"If it's night, then I'm busy sleeping. If it's morning then I'm sleeping too." Arne replied.

"Is that what it's about to be a resident?" ask Tony.

"Yes.. You wanna try?" reply Arne.

"No, I can't do it" Tony said.

"What business then, sir?" ask Arne..

"Yes, I just wanted to take you to dinner." said Tony.

"In what order?" ask Arne.

"It's not just that I want to take you to dinner.. Can't it?" ask Tony.

"You're suspicious" said Arne, making Tony sweat.

"Yes.. I don't have bad intentions, I just want to get close and talk to you like a friend" Tony said.

"I'll let you know if there's time, and it seems you can't just use your power for your own personal gain" Arne said, leaving Tony unable to evade.

"Yes.. I can only meet you if I call you here. Sorry if that." said Tony.

"Okay, sir, if there's no more business, I'm back." said Arne.

"Please, sorry to interrupt your time" said Tony.

Arne returns to work and assesses Tony's attitude to him which is very suspicious. Arne wondered if the man wanted to get close to her or just use her, and began to be cautious.

Andersen began to approach her after leaving Tony's room.

"Is there a problem?" ask Anderson.

"You curious?" ask Arne.

"Yes.. That guy is kind of suspicious and you need to be careful" Anderson said.

"really? What's he gonna do?" ask Arne.

"He might set you up, I can keep you company if he asks you to meet" Anderson said.

"You got time for that?" ask Arne.

"Yes.. Your grandfather told me to take care of you." Anderson said.

"No need, I think I only need to see him once to know his purpose" Arne said.

"Isn't the goal clear" Anderson said.

"What do you think his purpose is?" ask Arne.

"I think he likes you."

"Then you're jealous?" ask Arne again.

"Of course not." replied Anderson.

"All right, I'll go see him tonight" Arne said.

"Yes.. Be careful." said Anderson.

After work, Arne also intends to meet Tony at the designated place. And Arne knew the place was safe, so there was no need to ask Anderson for help. Arne also did not want to rely too much on Anderson because if they canceled the matchup, they would both stay away. There will be a sense of loss.

He waited 30 minutes at the restaurant. And Arne came late because there were some patients who had to be taken care of first. Not to mention the traffic jammed.

After ordering, Arne also waited for the man in front of him to talk.

"So, I dared to talk to you in person" Tony said.

"Please." said Arne.

"I like you.. Maybe there's a chance for me but can you consider me?" ask Tony.

"Why should I choose you? and you know that Anderson and I are getting engaged" Arne said.

"Yes I know, I heard from your grandfather too.. But there's no harm in me trying." said Tony.

"I acknowledge your courage.. But right now I'm not interested in a relationship" Arne said.

"You mean?" ask Tony.

"I just have to focus on my residency, and my engagement to Anderson was also just an uncertain match" Arne said.

"So I still have a chance?" ask Tony.

"But don't expect much because I need time to trust others" Arne said.

"I'll make you believe" said Tony.

"In addition to being my boss, I think I'd be overwhelmed if you were around me" Arne said.

"So you rejected me?" ask Tony.

"You want to throw away the food you ordered?" ask Tony.

Arne sighed and enjoyed the food he had ordered. It was hard to have dinner with her boss for personal reasons. An awkward feeling can not be denied anymore especially Arne has rejected the man twice.

"I won't take revenge on you, I'm just asking for a chance if there is one" Tony said.

"For now, I can't give anyone a chance" Arne said.

"Yes.I understand." said Tony.

On the other table Anderson was at the same restaurant following Arne. He doesn't want to let Tony get close to Arne. He was very upset because he could not hear their conversation from a distance. And only they can see the two talking.

"May Arne not be foolish to accept the man." Anderson murmured inwardly.

After finishing eating, Arne was excused to go home because there was nothing else to discuss. And Tony knows very well that his position is not profitable. He was rejected 2x. Even so, Arne even blatantly said he had no intention to have a relationship with a man he did not trust. That meant there was still a chance for him to build a trust and beat Anderson.
