Chapter 31 Dinner

Arne returned home tired and fell asleep in his room. Jeny had prepared everything for him including his lunch which he just warmed up in the microwave.

When she woke up, it was noon and Arne was hungry. When he woke up, he took a shower and had lunch. Arne gets a message from his grandfather to come to dinner to commemorate his grandfather's birthday with his mother.

Arne was worried because he and his mother were not liked by Martha and Aini. But considering this is a Jakson event, Arne also felt a little calm because they would automatically not dare to mess around.

Arne also prepared a dress that he will wear later tonight. And he had prepared a special gift for his beloved grandfather.

The night quickly changed, and Arne had to prepare to attend dinner today. Jeny has also come home from work and is preparing. They also dress casually but remain neat and polite. They don't wear fancy clothes, but they still look elegant and classy.

Simple dress is also the second choice. And the mother and the child look more like a sister than a mother and child. They also headed to the restaurant where the event was held with Jeny's car and Jeny was also driving it.

"Mom sure it'll be okay?" ask Arne.

Jeny and Arne arrive early and appear that the reserved table is still quiet. But Arne and Jeny just relax and chat lightly while drinking the juice provided.

Meanwhile, Aini and Boy came up with a drama. Boy who is lazy to follow the family event Aini also wanted to be unable to attend but Aini insisted because his grandfather was a strict person. Boy was also scolded by his parents.

"Cih. how important the event is" said Boy.

"Boy, are you why are you always so angry?" ask Aini.

"I've always been upset with you" Boy said.

"But what's my fault?" ask Aini.

"Have you ever reflected?" ask Boy.

"Boy what do you mean talk like that?" ask Aini offended.

"Boy.this is an expensive item given by grandfather." said Aini.

"But you're wearing it this way too much, so tacky." Boy said.

"Even the models wear it like this" said Aini.

"They're models. What they wear is always good, while you're not a proper model." said Boy.

"Ck. you know what.." said Aini.

"Let go or we don't go." Boy threatened.

Inevitably Aini also obeyed him and took off the jewelry he was wearing. Though Aini wanted to show off to Arne because she got the luxury gift from her grandfather. And the couple went to the restaurant with a lot of drama between them. Not to mention Boy who does not care to go with Aini who looks in his eyes increasingly not taking care of himself since pregnancy.

"Remember not to be tacky." said Boy before getting out of his car.

Aini was just bowed lethargic as she wiped her tears away. Then she wiped it and followed her husband. Inside the restaurant was Arne and her mother, and the four of them looked awkward.

Before long, Martha and Richard arrived. The newly arrived couple also saw Arne and Jeny who were present here.

"Isn't Jeny no longer our family?" ask Martha.

"Come." said Richard casually.

"Hey, Jeny are you sure you're invited here?" ask Martha.

"Of course I invited Jeny here so she was here" Jakson said.

"Dad." said Martha.

"Stop acting like you're the leader of this family.. I'm still in the highest position." Jakson said annoyed.

"Sorry dad." reply Martha.

"Sit down and take care of your attitude.. Richard teach your wife some manners." Jakson said.

"Fine father." said Richard while Martha was upset at being humiliated.

"Oo. my granddaughter thanks you." said Jakson.

"Dad, happy birthday, yes, the gift I sent to my father's house" said Jeny.

"You're still very good, even if you're no longer my daughter-in-law, thank you Jeny" Jakson said.

Then Richard congratulated his father followed by his wife, son and daughter-in-law. Worse, they don't seem to be bringing gifts for Jakson. For them Jakson is an old geezer who has everything.

"The two of you are still very attentive to me." Jakson told Arne and Jeny.

"Of course the cake." said Arne and Jeny just smiling.

"Dad, here is not just Arne and Jeny" said Richard.

"But you all don't care about me. You still come here for sure because you want my attention to get the inheritance" said Jakson.

"Dad, isn't that too much.?" ask Richard.

"It's my birthday, but you're not giving me anything?" sindir Jakson's.

"Grandfather be." said Arne while they looked embarrassed.

"Currently, your face is not sincere" said Jakson.

"Grandfather, do you like to play golf?" tanya Boy breaks the tension.

"Yes sometimes. What's up?" ask Jakson.

"Let's play golf together" said Boy smilingly trying to ease this tension.

"May as well." said Jakson smiling.

"How about we play together" said Richard.

"It seems like playing golf is exciting" said Martha.

"Jeny, Arne came too when you had time" Jakson said.

"Okay dad, I'll see my schedule first" Jeny said.

"I'm also a cake" said Arne.

"You are too busy caring for the sick in the hospital, you also have to take a vacation" said Jakson.

"We'll try cake" said Arne and Jeny just smiled.

Dinner was again improved thanks to Boy's interaction with Jakson. While Aini was silent and did not respond much because she did not understand the chatter so well as Martha. Only Arne, Jeny, Jakson, and Boy and Richard spoke much.

On the show, Boy was looking at Arne who did not change a bit. Precisely Arne became more beautiful, in contrast to Aini who changed since pregnancy. His body is increasingly filled and makes Boy sometimes annoyed to see him who is only always in his room all day. The doctor asked her to move a little, such as walking in the morning and other light activities.

"Arne, do you have a boyfriend right now?" ask Jakson.

"I don't seem to have time for that cake" Arne said.

"really? should grandpa introduce someone?" ask Jakson.

"No cake needed" said Arne.

"You can reject it if you don't like it" Jakson said.

"Other times the cake, I was busy with my residency" Arne said.

"Well then" said Jakson, smiling as he realized that Boy was staring at Arne continuously.

Then Martha's permission to go to the toilet. However, instead of going to the toilet he went to the kitchen to meet one of the servants. After speaking for a while, Martha was seen giving money to the maid.

"You did your job well" said Martha.

"Good mistress" he said.

Martha smiled because she had a brilliant idea to drive out Jeny and Arne.
