Chapter.58 Second date schedule

After a grueling day meeting Aini and Martha, Arne has to go back through a date with Anderson. And inevitably this time he prepared like a real date. A dress was sent to her apartment, and now Arne is looking at her carefully.

"Date again." he murmured.

He saw the purple dress. An unusual color for Arne, but she must wear it to honor Anderson's grandfather who sent it to her. And Arne just hopes that the dress fits her body.

Even though he does not know this date will be successful or it will end like yesterday. And it sucks that Anderson would have been silent a thousand languages and cold. Until Arne was curious about the woman he was waiting for.

"Just this time I saw a man waiting for a woman? Is that woman in special training? Or working abroad? But it feels strange that her grandfather set her up." muttered Arne in her room.

And Arne did not want to take a headache, anyway for both of these dating is just a formality. Arne will only dress up to match her dress. Then maybe they'll just meet, sit in a restaurant, enjoy a meal and go home. Simple is Arne and Anderson's relationship.

Today Arne is on vacation so he will relax in the apartment and will be ready for a date in the afternoon. And this morning he started by working out in the gym usually.

Arne drove his car to the sports venue. In a modest dress and covered Arne enters the gym. A few employees greeted him as he rarely came, and Arne simply smiled at them.

Arne was exercising as usual and without realizing Tony was also in the place. Tony saw Arne exercising alone, and then thought to greet him.

"Arne. Are you that?" ask Tony.

"Eh.. Mr. Tony." said Arne.

"Well, it's true you. I've been here a lot and it just so happens that my schedule today is empty" Tony said.

"Oh that way, I've rarely been here since I became a resident" said Arne.

"It's a coincidence, but you don't feel uncomfortable with me just relax.. Let's just say what happened before didn't exist" Tony said.

"Thank God, I was actually quite insolent in rejecting you at that time, sorry sir." said Arne.

And Arne was exercising as usual and then went home to the apartment. Before returning home, his mother asked him to shop for some groceries. Arne stopped by the supermarket for a while.

Unexpectedly, Arne met with Leni's mother from Boy.

"Arne. "greet Leni.

"Tante." reply Arne.

"You're shopping by yourself.?" ask Leni.

"Yes right." Arne replied.

"I'm sorry Arne, it looks like Boy and Aini are making things difficult for you" Leni said.

"Yes, it's okay auntie." said Arne.

"Hopefully, you got the best mate.. Aunty knows you're a good girl." said Leni.

"Thank you aunt." said Arne.

Then they separated and Leni saw Arne so independent and strong. His attitude was much different from that of a spoiled Aini and like a big boss. Even Aini barely did anything to Boy during the marriage. Everything was done by the waiter to prepare for Boy's needs.

"If only Arne had married Boy." muttered Leni inwardly.

Arne went home to the apartment and tidied up her groceries according to Jeny's orders. Then Arne relaxes and enjoys the food he has prepared.

His encounter with Leni made him slightly pensive. Arne sees Leni still being nice to him even to the point of apologizing for Boy and Aini's actions to her. It seems that Leni is a little bit hopeful that Arne will be her son-in-law, but Boy prefers Aini.

Then Arne chose to watch television and relax. Dating with Anderson was for him only a culinary tour where he only enjoyed food at the restaurant.

"Arghhh.. Why am I sleeping so fast..!!" objurgation.

Arne took a shower and got ready. He only wears makeshift makeup that is important to match the dress he wears. Then Arne looked at the mirror and it looked pretty neat. Arne let out a sigh of relief as the preparation was enough. Now he lives to go to the restaurant where it has been determined.

But suddenly a bell rang and made Arne approach the door. On the screen, Anderson was waiting for him at the door. Arne opened the door.

"When you don't have to pick me up prof." said Arne.

"You know what else old man said" Anderson said.

"Sit down, I'll be ready soon" Arne said.

Arne goes to her room and picks up her bag and leaves the apartment with Anderson. They walked in unison, Anderson in front and Arne behind him. It's not really a couple's sight.

Along the way to the restaurant they did not talk much. And Arne knew it would be like this. Then they went down and even they came back like seniors and juniors, where Anderson was up front and Arne was behind. Dating is far from romantic. Especially without the love between them.

Get them where they've been booked and Arne sees the menu.

"This restaurant is the most famous in the area" Anderson said.

"It must be because of the delicious food." Arne replied.

Arne also ordered a lot of menus because the intention was not a date but a culinary tour. The one who paid the bill was their grandfather.

"You sure you can spend it all.?" ask Anderson.

"If you don't end up there, prof." Arne smiled back.

"Kc.. Basic hungry eyes." Anderson replied.

"Well, my goal here is also not for dating but culinary tourism" Arne said.

"Good goal." Anderson replied.

Before long, the dishes arrived and Arne was so happy to see the dishes were neatly arranged and beautiful.

"Wait.. I want a photo for a memento." said Arne.

"Kc.. You're here for a culinary tour, so just enjoy not the pictures of me too" said Anderson.

"Who wants to take a picture of the professor, I want a picture of the food." Arne replied.

Anderson was embarrassed. And Arne took a picture of the food, and then they enjoyed it. Arne also looks happy to enjoy the variety of food. Until Anderson was silent to see Arne eating everything he ordered.

"When your body is thin, but you eat a lot too." Anderson said.

"All women want to be so prof, but not all the almost" said Arne.

"But I included rarely eating this much, and because of my goal of dating to eat so I should enjoy it rather than be content with your cold attitude." Arne replied.

"Yes good motivation Arnetha." replied Anderson annoyed insinuated.

"After all, there's nothing to expect from you" Arne said.

"What do you mean?" ask Anderson.

"In addition to your cold attitude, we have also agreed to reject this matchmaking right?? So just enjoy the food." Arne replied.

Anderson was speechless with Arne's words that were true as they were. And Arne chose to enjoy the food instead of enjoying a date that was clear at last.

In the middle of those who still enjoy food, there is a furore in the kitchen. A puff of smoke came out and filled the kitchen area. Some of the cooks and waiters left the kitchen. They were looking for extinguishers and trying to put out the fire, but it seemed that it was difficult to put out the fire and the fire alarm went off.

"This alarm.." said Arne.

"Fast we're out of the resto" Anderson said.

"Yes, the smoke has gone everywhere" said Arne.

Arne got up and walked out of the restaurant with Anderson. Anderson takes off his suit and protects Arne from smoke and fire. Arne was not aware of it and when he arrived outside, he realized that Anderson had been trying to protect him.
