CHAPTER XXI

Because the location of Derry Laros detention is not far from the location of Bethran holding Emili. After hearing Bethran's confession, the police immediately coordinated with the police who were still on guard at Bethran's location earlier. The police officers rushed to Derry's detention center.

Rafael and his best friend also immediately rushed to the location mentioned Bethran Markes. They did not take long to find out the location, because with a threat Bethran immediately acknowledge and tell them all.

Derry Laros' warehouse has been again surrounded by police. The warehouse looks very quiet like there is no activity in it. But they were finally able to find the exact location where Derry was held captive, after hearing several times a woman scream inside the warehouse.

Police officers who have been there continue to be cautious. They do not want the abductees to be hurt if they ambush. For an hour, police officers continued to observe the movement inside the warehouse.

Rafael and his two best friends have arrived at the location, they are waiting for movement from the police to arrest Katrina Dowell and save Derry Laros.

Again there was the sound of a woman screaming from inside the warehouse. It seemed like the situation was getting out of control, I don't know what made the woman so angry. The woman seemed to be none other than Katrina Dowell.

The barn door suddenly opened, a man came out like terrified. Of course the police immediately arrested him. The man admitted it was Katrina Dowell's men. The man said Katrina Dowell was holding a firearm.

Hearing the confession of Katrina's men, the police, Rafael and his best friend immediately rushed into the warehouse. Carefully they put their feet inside, sure enough... Katrina's pointing her gun at Derry Laros. The woman did not realize that the police had surrounded her. When Katrina pulled the trigger. Instantly, one of the police officers moved.

The police fired a bullet at the gun pointed at Katrina, until the firearm bounced and made Katrina fall in shock.

Katrina tried to get up, but at once some police officers immediately arrested her. The woman was screaming hysterically when the arrest took place. He couldn't do anything when the police cracked him down violently.

Raphael and his two best friends soon approached Derry Laros. They helped untie the man's father's hands and feet.

"Dad's okay, right?" ask Rafael.

Derry nodded, "nearly I can't see you guys anymore. Katrina was very reckless" replied Derry.

"I'm sorry Rafael came late well" Rafael said.

"No boy... You fought to save Dad. Then what about mom? I heard you guys saved him."

Rafael nodded his head, "praise God well. My mother is currently being treated in hospital for shock. Delia was also there accompanying him, they were waiting for father to return."

"Praise God, thank you. During the feeding, the mother does not want to eat at all. I'm so worried about him."

"Dad not to worry, mother has been saved. At this time think of your own father, you also have to go to the hospital to undergo an examination" Rafael said.

"Dad's okay son, I just want to meet with mom and Delia" replied Derry.

Tyar and Huda help Derry Laros, while Rafael approaches Katrina who is still in revolt when arrested by police.

"Take me off... Rafael. I just want you, why are you doing this to me" cried Katrina.

Rafael let out a long sigh, "what you're doing is Kate's fault. You even nearly killed my in-laws, if you hurt him, I don't hesitate to kill you in front of the police. You think I'm afraid of going to jail, I'll do anything to protect the people I love."

"You're crazy Rafael. Why do you defend her more than I do. I'm your fiancee." cried Katrina.

Rafael asks the police to take him immediately, as he no longer wants to see the woman. The police immediately took Katrina, almost dragging her because the woman continued to rebel.

Rafael came out of the warehouse and approached his car. The man got into the car where Derry and his two best friends were waiting for him.

"We go straight to the hospital" said Rafael.

Tyar immediately drove his car away from the warehouse to the hospital.

"What a pity, he called his father. But his father did not want to help him. Actually he tried to kill himself, I tried to prevent it. But instead he put a gun on me. He said it's better to die together, I feel sorry for that woman. He must have been very shaken" said Derry.

"A Katrina Dowell tried to kill herself? He really has run out of sense" said Tyar.

"I think the woman is depressed by her criminal actions. But I never thought, but Frans Dowell loved him very much. But why would he not help his daughter" said Rafael again approached them.

"I don't think Frans wants to get involved in his daughter's criminal act, because it would ruin DowellKat's company. But isn't it still the media will quickly spread this news and destroy it?" said Huda.

"Maybe Frans thought his son wouldn't do more stupidity than this. But he did not realize, his daughter was out of control. And that weapon looks like Katrina took it silent, I'm sure it belongs to Dowell" replied Rafael.

They kept talking about the Dowells, until they all got to the hospital.

Before meeting Emili and Delia. Rafael forces Derry to conduct an examination. Tyar and Huda return home.

The two headed to the treatment room of Emili Laros. Derry and Rafael are shocked to see Emili and Delia sleeping there. Raphael approached his wife.

"Honey.wake up. Dad is back. He is here" whispered Rafael softly.

Delia opened her eyes, she looked at Rafael.

"Raf... Have you returned? What did you say just now?" ask Delia.

Raphael shifted his body, "look who's behind you."

Delia turned her head, instantly she woke up and almost fell down from staggering. Rafael swiftly restrained his body from falling. Delia let go of her cries and hugged her father.

"Dad, you're finally back. I forgive Delia for not being able to take good care of you" Delia said between tears.

"You are completely innocent Delia, this is the carelessness of father and mother. We do not understand the situation between you. Stop crying, at least my father and mother have returned safely" replied Derry.

"Right baby, stop crying. They are with us again" said Rafael.

Delia let go of her embrace and looked at her husband, "thank you for keeping your promise. Thank you for bringing them back to me,"

"Stop saying thank you, it's my responsibility as your husband."

Derry approached his wife, clasping Emili's still-sleeping hand. At once Rafael invites Delia out so that both parents are more free.

"Have you eaten?" rafael asked while he was in the waiting room.

Delia shook her head.

"You want to make me angry?" Rafael.

"I was afraid that my mother would wake up and look for me. So I didn't get out to eat" Delia replied.

"It's a 1st grade, baby, you can leave your mother. The nurse here takes care of it 24 hours" said Rafael I moved from his seat, "we ate and bought food for father and mother, too" he asked.

Delia nodded her head, the woman followed her husband leaving the hospital in search of a nearby restaurant.

At the police station...

"Fuck you Bethran. Why did you take me to jail. You're a fool" Katrina shouted at the police station as the two were juxtaposed.

"Shut up...! You think it's a forest." snapped one of the cops.

"You're going to regret that the police officer has arrested Dowell's son" Katrina shouted.

"If you keep yelling I'm going to do your mouth, you think the law will be afraid of the Dowells" replied the policeman.

"Shut up Kate... I'll find a way to get us out of here" whispered Bethran.

"You said we'd make it, but where's the evidence, huh! We were caught, and in vain what we did" Katrina snapped.

Bethran gritted his teeth, "this is because Rafael Widjaja, he dared to deceive me," he replied indignantly.

"You can rest easy no" said the police, "we have contacted your family in Lampung, Mr. Surya Markes will soon arrive in Jakarta. And so did Frans Dowell" he said.

The police say that Bethran was shocked, her father already knew what she was doing. He was only ready to accept the man's rampage.

"You will be subject to a layered charge of kidnapping and arrest, of attempting murder. And you Katrina Dowell had a gun without a permit that's also against the law" the police said.

"The father owns it and he has permission for the weapon" Katrina replied.

"Are you crazy? You tried to kill him?" ask Bethran.

"For whatever reason, you two will be in jail" police said.

Katrina finally could not hold back her tears anymore, imagining herself going to jail made her very frightened.
