Attending the David Engagement

Next day, the shabby,

David is seen at his mother's house accompanied by Ashley but Ken is nowhere to be seen, as he has to do important work and promises to come with Alana after his job is done, David was preoccupied with his engagement party which will be held later in the afternoon. There was no spirit or smile on the man's face.

Ashley who looks cool enjoying the cake, immediately approached her best friend.

"Hey, you're getting engaged today, why do you look so unhappy?" reprimanding Ashley with an indistinct voice due to the clogged cake in her mouth.

"Indeed I'm unhappy, so why be forced to be happy?" exclaim David. He stood up and went into his room.

"David.." the voice of the woman accompanied by the footsteps of the shoes that were clearly heard due to colliding with the floor made David stop his footsteps, turning his head lazily.

"What's up, Mom?" tanyanya was not excited.

"Hurry and get ready, after this Aunt Nam and her daughter will be here soon" she said in a soft speech.

"I'm really confused! I still really don't want to get married, but my mom."

"If you really don't want to get married, then why don't you just refuse from the beginning?" exclaim Ashley.

"I can't! You know my mother's heart is in trouble! If my mom doesn't get sick, I won't!" exclaim David.

"What if you're the one who replaced me engaged to my mother's friend's daughter?

" the suggestion of David.

"Are you crazy? I could have been killed by your mother!" exclaim Ashley.

Valerie looks busy with some of her work. He stood up with some files in his hand.he went to the copy room to duplicate some of them. Valerie's footsteps halted in front of David's room, her eyes watching the room appear closed and inhabited.

"Where is David? tumben once it's noon he hasn't come yet?" valerie Mumbles. He wants to resume his work and leave from there.

"Miss Valerie?" valerie's footsteps stopped again when she saw David's secretary named Miss Yoshie approaching her.

"Yes, Miss Yoshie?"

"Please copy these files." Pouring some files to Valerie. "Later put it on my desk, because I want to go to Mr. David's house to ask for an autograph" he added.

"Where is Mr David, Miss? why isn't he working today?" ask Valerie.

"Mr David today is off because he is busy preparing for his engagement" Yoshie replied.

"Awtroduction ceremony?" Valerie's eyes were rounded.

"Yes, this afternoon Mr. David is getting engaged. I'll leave, yes, Miss Valerie." Yoishie smiled at Valerie, rubbed her arms and passed away from there.

Valerie's still in the same place.  Something stuck in his chest cavity, making him feel difficulty breathing. Still can't believe what he heard from Miss Yoshie's mouth.

"David engaged?" he said without making a sound. Both corners of his eyes looked almost wet. It's true, there's nothing special between the two of them. But, why did the news that woman had heard just now, seemed to destroy her hope.

When she saw Office girl passing by there, Valerie asked for help to shift her work to her. With heavy steps, Valerie returned to her desk. He took a cell phone trying to contact Ashley asking for the truth, but there was no word at all from her.

"I have to confirm it, but it's impossible if I ask David directly." Valerie held her phone with a face that looked so confused.

"Well..."

The name crossed his mind. Valerie immediately contacted Alana's mobile number that Alana had given yesterday time at her home.

Ringtones connect, until it sounds from behind the phone that is currently the woman is holding.

"Call..."

"Alana, I'm Valerie."

"Yes, Valerie. What's up?" alana's voice sounded so excited about her.

"Where are you now?" ask Valerie.

"At home, waiting for Ken to come home," replied Alana.

"Alana, can I ask you something?" valerie's lips were shaking.

"See." said happily.

"W-what, ha-today, David's gonna be-engaged?" valerie asked in a stammer, as if the question was too heavy for her to ask. Alana didn't kill him right away. He remained silent, then said, "Yes, Valerie. Today David is engaged" he replied reluctantly.

Upon hearing Alana's statement, Valerie's lips shut up, unable to speak or move in the slightest. Both eyes look teary, holding back the tightness that is increasingly becoming.

"Vallery...." Alana's call many times did not make the woman immediately kill him.

"Valerie, do you hear me?"

"L-yes, Alana. Hear you.  Thank you very much for the information, it's appropriate that today David did not come to the office" Valerie replied, trying to smile.

"David didn't tell you he was getting engaged?" ask Alana.

Valerie put her cell phone on the table. He closed his eyes, caught his breath with a whim, He stood up, his legs were inviting him to go to the toilet which looked lonely. He went into one of the toilets and closed the door tightly.

"David's really getting engaged?" he said lightly, his tears suddenly hardened wetting ayu manita's face.

"David is good, he's good to everyone. Then, what are you expecting Vaerie to do? what did you expect?" Valerie dropped her body on the floor. Folding both hands and resting his face, his tears hardened unbearably. He was crying in there.

Ken and Alana give news of David's marriage to his family, including Jesslyn. Everyone was happy about the news, but not Jesslyn who looked a little disappointed, because, the woman had long admired her brother's best friend. Just admiring but not breaking her heart. That afternoon, Alana is seen with Ken in the car they both want to go to the residence of David's house to attend the wedding party of his best friend, while Jesslyn, Jasson and Harry have made an appointment with their brother to meet there.

Alana shook her head. "Nothing" he said with a smile.

"Would you eat or drink something?" bargain back.

"No dear.." replied Alana. Ken was instantly speechless, staring at his wife's astonishment.

"Why him?" he murmured in the heart. "Usually a day is all that is asked" he murmured.

"Ken.." Alana's call made Ken kill her.

"I suddenly miss Mami a lot" Alana said with a sad look. Because for a very long time he did not hear the news of his mother, even usually Brianna often visited his house, but for lately, he never saw and heard the news again.

Ken was momentarily silent. "You want to meet Mami?" ask Ken. Alana nodded her head slowly.

"Tomorrow we'll meet him."

"You're not mad if I see Mami?" ask Alana.

"It's okay!" Alana and Ken continue to enter the house, but in the living room, Alana was surprised by her three former friends who were there at that time"

"Where?" greet Clara. Alana just silently did not kill him, he turned his eyes to Lecya and also Darrel who was holding a baby child, which he believed was their two children.  likewise with Laurrent who looks so beautiful and graceful with a dress that covers his body.

The three of them walked over to Alana.

"Heh, what are you doing here?" Lecya asked a question of dislike, while glancing towards Alana's distended stomach. Entalaa, why does that woman hate him so much.

"What are you doing here, Alana?" ask Laurrent.

"What are you doing here yourself?" ask Alana.

"It's my engagement party" Laurrent replied. Alana's eyes were wide. He turned his gaze to Ken who was still faithfully standing next to him, tightly grasping his hand.

"Ken, is this really David's house? We're not at home wrong?" ask Alana with certainty.

"Don't love it's David's house." replied Ken.

"Alana, Ken.." David, who was well dressed, walked up to the two of them.

Alana was silent, she was still staring at Laurrent, then turned her eyes to David.

"Allana... Ken.. let's go inside, let's get David.

"David wait!" alana calls, stopping the man who is about to step.

"What's up, Alana?" ask David.

"Who's your future wife?" alana asked, David was silent, his eyes glanced at Laurrent, already showing clearly what the man's answer was.

Alana followed David's eyes, she really did not believe that Laurrent would be his future wife.

"Laurrent your future wife?" ask Alana.

"Yes, Alana. Me and David are getting married, today we're engaged" Laurrent said.

"Ken, Alana, let's not be here, let's just go inside." David forced his best friend and his best friend's wife. But Alana still did not budge from her place.

Ken pulled Alana's hand and invited her to follow David into the living room, they were greeted by Ashley who had been endlessly enjoying her food.

"Allana... Ken... You came by yourself? where's Jasson?"

"Later he followed along with Harry and Jesslyn" Ken replied.

"Alana, are you in contact with Laurrent?" ask David.

Alana nodded her head.

"They're three of Alana's former best friends" Ken said.

"Ken, come with me..." Alana pulled her husband's hand and hired him to get away from there.

"Darling what's wrong? are you hungry? you want to eat something? tell me what do you want to eat? I'll get it for you."

Alana shook her head. "No, I don't want to eat anything" he replied.

"Then why did you bring me here?" ask Ken.

"Ken, why didn't you tell me that Laurrent would be David's future wife?" ask Alana.

"I told you yesterday, I don't know who David's candidate is, he's been betrothed by his mother.  And I just found out today that your ex-friend is going to be his future wife" Ken replied.

Alana just kept quiet, it felt so unwilling if people as good as David were to marry Laurrent. "Darling, what's wrong with you?" ask Ken.

"Ken, I don't like to see David marry Laurrent" Alana said.

"Laurrent is not a good person, he doesn't deserve David!" alana.

"Alana, I know you have a problem with your former friends, but we have no right to define someone's relationship!" exclaim Ken.

"It's David's choice, so you don't interfere!"

"But, Ken-"

"Already! Don't talk anymore!" Ken's upset to leave Alana from there.

Alana's in the same place. "I really wouldn't be willing if a man as good as David was married to Laurrent."
