Increasingly confused

Alana still lowered her gaze down while biting her lips in fear of seeing Ken.

"Ehm, is Jesslyn here, sir?" ask Alana without seeing Ken.

"He was still sleeping" said Ken, he passed by leaving Alana inside the house and leaving the door open. Alana went into the house following Ken, then, suddenly Ken turned around to make Alana surprised.

"Close the door" Ken ordered with his eyes managed. Alana assures him and quickly closes the door, then follows Ken from behind, as Ken goes into his room, suddenly he was surprised to see Alana who was still following him.

"What are you doing following me?" ask Ken.

"I want to see Jesslyn" said Alana.

"This is my room, not Jesslyn's, Jesslyn's in her room, so meet her in her room!" exclaim Ken.

"But-"

"But what else?" knock Ken.

"I don't know Jesslyn's room, sir" said Alana.

"Come here, let me take you to Jesslyn's room," said Jasson who arrived - suddenly had approached Ken and also Alana. Jasson walks ahead of Alana, and Alana passes leaving Ken, following Jasson from behind to Jesslyn's room. Ken only noticed the woman and immediately went inside her room.

Jasson shows Jesslyn's room to Alana, but the door is locked when Jasson opens it. Jasson knocked on the door repeatedly until shortly afterwards Jesslyn opened the door by yawning, the bamboo seemed random - a stampede, apparently Jesslyn had just woken up from her sleep.

"You're so noisy, what's waking me up," Jesslyn exclaimed, scrambling her hair while yawning so wide.

"It's Alana" Jasson said, Jesslyn rubbed her two blurry eyes and saw Alana smiling at him.

"Alana," said Jesslyn, he did not hesitate to hug Alana with a tight begging.

"Let's go in" Jesslyn took her by pulling Alana's hand, but Jesslyn stopped her footsteps and turned towards Jasson who was still standing at the door of her room.

"Why are you still here? are you gonna bother Alana?" ketus Jesslyn's.

"Oh my God, who would bother your friend, here I go" Jasson said, leaving Jesslyn's room. Jesslyn took Alana in and sat on the bed. Jesslyn says goodbye to Alana for a short bath, and Alana says yes.When Jesslyn is in the bathroom, Alana's eyes pay attention to Jesslyn's entire room, many photos of Jesslyn with her family are displayed there. Alana got out of bed and watched the photos one by one.

suddenly Alana dripped back her tears, it felt so envious to see a portrait of the togetherness of the Jesslyn family.

"In fact, I never took a photo with Mami, Daddy and Deven (the Alana sisters)" Alana murmured while she brushed off her tears.

Although Alana used to be rich and have everything, not many people know that her life is not as happy as others think. Alana has never found an answer to why her father and mother always fight even for small things. Alana has never found peace in her home in the past. Alana could only smile bitterly.

"Well." Jesslyn's voice startled her, Alana quickly wiped away her tears from being seen by Jesslyn.

"You crying?" ask Jesslyn.

"No, who's crying. You're weird," said Alana with a laugh, Jesslyn squinted her eyes at Alana who was trying to hide her sadness.

"Let's forget it, oh yeah Alana, can you cook?" ask Jesslyn.

"Of course you can" sauteed Alana.

"Then let's go to the kitchen to cook together" Jesslyn said,

"Ta-pi, you're still sick, Jess" said Alana.

"Alana, I'm fine, come on." Jesslyn struggled with forcing Alana. Alana was eager to agree. they both went to the kitchen and dismantled the entire refrigerator to find ingredients that could be cooked, even the horn was excited, Jesslyn and Alana's voice sounded so rowdy there, their laughter sounded out.

"Miss what are you doing? is there anything you can help me with?" asked Bi Molley who was already standing behind Alana and Jesslyn.

"Eh, Bi Molley. no, Bi. leave us alone, we want to cook something for dinner later" Jesslyn said with her sweetest smile.

"So, Auntie, today don't cook dong, Miss?" ask Bi Molley.

"Yes, Bi. Just let us go" Jesslyn said. Bi Molley agreed and excused to go back to his room near the kitchen.

The two women are now starting their respective activities to prepare the ingredients they will cook. Alana looks to sort through the spices in the kitchen, but she does not find what she is looking for.

"Jesslyn, why aren't there any peppers here?" ask Alana.

"There is none" said Jesslyn

"Because, Papa and my brother are allergic to chili and spicy food, so Mama has never cooked spicy food before" Jesslyn added.

"Is there really a chilli allergy?" alana asked curiously.

"There is evidence of my Father and my Brother" Jesslyn said.

"Oh ..." Alana rounded her lips.

"Jesslyn, you just sit down, yes, your legs are still sore you need to rest, let me just cook them," Alana said.

"Well, I'll be here as a taster," exclaimed Jesslyn, making Alana laugh to see him. Then, Alana lit the stove using a small fire to cook the Fish, after the fish that he felt was all ripe, Alana is now cooking vegetables while Jesslyn, he just say goodbye to go to the bathroom, and while in the middle of his busy life, he was, Alana accidentally sees Ken in the kitchen pouring water in the glass, Alana remembers something, she immediately shrinks the burning stove and walks closer to Ken.

"Mr Ken, I want to ask you something" said Alana, but Ken just kept quiet and started sipping the water he just poured into the glass.

"Ehm, sir. May I request David's home or office address?" ask Alana. Ken glanced over and placed the glass on the table, he momentarily looked at Alana and without saying, Ken passed away leaving Alana.

"Mr Ken," call Alana, but Ken still doesn't bother her.

"Gosh, it's so arrogant. in fact, I just asked his friend's address, I wanted to meet with David, to say thank you for helping Daddy's medical expenses," Alana murmured.

"Ehm, it's okay. The cooking is almost cooked, let's prepare it at the dining table," Alana asked. Jesslyn excitedly asserted it, they both did not hesitate to move the food they just cooked on some dishes, then served it on the dining table.

And at nightfall, Jesslyn invites Jasson and Ken to dinner together, as well as Alana. The four of them eat together at the dinner table, no one talks at all at that time, no one talks at all, they are busy with their eating activities.

"How's Alana cooking? it's delicious, right." Jesslyn asked her two brothers, but neither of them answered Jesslyn's question.

"Why is it that tumben once, no one is asking me to talk?" jesslyn asked Ken and Jasson.

"Indeed, since when have we ever invited you to talk while eating, if not you used to mess with us to talk" said Jasson, chewing food in his mouth.

"I'm just asking, how Alana's cooking is, but you guys just shut up" Jesslyn exclaimed

"Jesslyn, come on" said Alana.

"They're both really annoying, but all your cooking is really good, Alana. Usually if Brother and Jasson don't like other people's cooking, he always vomits it, but you can see for yourself right, Alana.  Brother and Jasson finished the meal," Jesslyn scolded with a smile.

"Look, your sister, brother." Jasson shook his head.

"Have no idea what he likes to say" said Ken.

"You're talking about me, aren't you." cried Jesslyn with her eyes out.

"Who talks about you, you little girl" said Jasson,

"You're the one who's the one who's the rancid-"

"Jesslyn, already! hurry up and finish your meal," said Ken, Jesslyn obeyed her brother's orders in annoyance.

shortly afterwards, there was a knock on the door in front of the house and Bi Molley immediately came out to the front to open it. Then, Bi Molley returned to the kitchen.

"Excuse me, young Master Ken. there's Mr. Ashley and Mr. David, outside, too," said Bi Molley. When he heard David's name, Alana immediately raised her face looking at Bi Molley, And Ken glanced at him.

"Just have them come here, all of you to eat together, Bi." Ken rules.

"All right, sir." Bi Molley passed by leaving the dining table to meet David and Ashley in the front room.

Ashley and David head to the kitchen to see Ken, but Ashley is surprised to see Alana there.

"Ken, this was the woman at the bar at the time, right.what was she doing here? or is he your mistress?" she asked Ashley by pointing her finger at Alana, causing Alana to bow her face and swallow the food in her mouth with great difficulty. Ken noticed Alana who was looking down, apparently David had not told Ashley everything.

"Ashley, watch how you speak" said David.

"But, he-"

"Be quiet" cried David.

"Hurry up and sit down and eat with us" asked Ken.

"We've eaten, but, if you force us to eat again, we don't refuse." Ashley let out a laugh and sat down next to Jesslyn. Ken just shook his head to see the hilarious behavior of his best friend, then, David jga sat his body next to Ken precisely in front of Alana.

"Hi Alana," said David with his sweetest smile. Alana also greeted David back, now they all continue to eat dinner, as well as Ashley and David, they both also joined in eating together.

"David," call Alana,

"Well, what's wrong, Alana" said David.

"Ehm, I want to thank you" said Alana. David narrowed both his eyes.

"Thank you for what?" david asked in confusion.

"For the financing of my Daddy's operation, you're the one who paid it off. Later, I'll replace the money if my money has been collected," said Alana. jesslyn and the others are no exception.

"Wait for Alana" said David.

"It wasn't me who paid for your father's operation, indeed, I wanted to help you pay for your father's operating expenses, but, when I asked the hospital's administrative staff, he said the financing of your father's operation had been paid off, that's why I didn't help pay for your father's surgery, I thought you paid it off" David said. Alana's getting confused.

"Where do I have so much money?"

"Then who, who helped fund my Daddy's operation," muttered Alana with a question.Jesslyn immediately glanced at Ken who was busy eating.

"Alana, tomorrow we ask the hospital staff, there must be proof of payment and also the name of the person who paid for your Daddy's operation" Jesslyn said.

"Ehm, yes. alright," said Alana.
