#15: Engagement of the Former Lover President

Dara finally stopped her steps and followed what Lindy had ordered..

"Take off Viola, you don't deserve to do this.. Tonight you will be engaged to someone" Kevin said as he let go of his embrace.

"I miss you so much Kevin, for 2 years you've been avoiding me" Viola said.

"It's not me who dodges but you who are too busy and preoccupied with your own life without caring what I feel like at that time" said Kevin.

"I'm sorry Kevin, I'm so sorry about everything that's happened. If only time could come back I would love to be your wife" Viola said.

"Time won't get back to it the way you wanted Viola to, now it's too late to get it fixed again. Now you better leave this place and get ready for your engagement tonight" Kevin said.

"You kicked me out Kevin? I won't leave this place until you give me another chance" Viola said.

"What chance should I give you again, it's over.. Get the hell out of here, please.", said Kevin and turned his body around from Viola's face, as if hinting that Kevin did not want Viola back into his life.

Seeing Kevin's attitude like that, Viola finally left the place. After Viola's departure, Dara and Windy ventured into the room. Inside there Dara sees a different Kevin than usual, like there's something going on between the two of them and it's not like some of the women Dara had previously met.

"Mas Kevin, how are you?", asked Windy.

"Oh, Windy it turns out you've come. I'm told I'm fine. I'm sorry I went to the toilet for a while.. Ms. Dara please accompany my cousin yes!!!", said Kevin and left them for the toilet.

"I think Viola is back in Mas Kevin's life" Windy said.

"Viola??? Who her??? All this time I have never heard that name" Dara said.

"Have forgotten, later on in the next meeting I'll tell you everything" Windy said.

"Who is Viola??? Looks like that beautiful woman has been in Mr. Kevin's life before. Could it be Mr Kevin's ex-girlfriend??", Dara's inner.

As long as Kevin was in the toilet, the two of them were talking to each other and joking, telling me about the time when they were in college until they did not realize that Kevin had returned from the toilet and was now watching them both.

"It looks like you two are very close, have you known each other before?", asked Kevin.

Kevin leaves with Windy to leave Dara alone. Luckily, they exchanged phone numbers without Kevin's knowledge.

In her solitude Dara just look around a few photos on the wall, looks so harmonious and happy Kevin along with his parents so unwittingly it turns out Dara shed her tears because he misses his family in Bandung.

After waiting for a few minutes a boutique employee came to see Dara and showed her some dresses that Dara would wear later tonight. Dara was very surprised that this was what Kevin wanted to bring her to this place. She refused and did not want to choose any dress to wear tonight. The boutique clerk could not do anything with Dara's refusal, until when Kevin returned he still wore the same clothes.

"Nn. Dara, you haven't picked a single dress???", asked Kevin in surprise.

"I don't want to. Am I your puppet, you willingly command me to do what I do not know??", asked Dara annoyed.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. Please, please help me one last time to accompany me to my business partner's engagement party tonight" Kevin explained.

"I don't want to.. Even if you threaten me this time, I won't care" Dara said firmly.

"Well, I won't force you again to comply with all my wishes" said Kevin, turning around and walking towards the sofa.

As Kevin walked to the sofa, Kevin suddenly limped and fell on the floor. Dara was very surprised to see his boss who fell and he immediately ran to help him, but the help he gave was not ignored by him..

"Go away and stay away from me, I don't need your help.!!!", cried Kevin growled.

As if her Boss was starting to get angry at her and by looking at her Boss' mood like this, Dara immediately left her alone there without a word.

In the evening, Kevin comes to Viola's engagement party without anyone being with him. There were so many invited guests who came to attend the party that Kevin's head felt a little spinning.

"Why is my head turning??? It seems like I've been so exhausted this week!!", inward Kevin.

For a moment Kevin stopped his steps, but from behind as if someone wanted to push his body. Then he swiftly grabbed the hand of someone who would push him and after seeing it turned out that someone was a man he knew very well..

"What do you want to come to this party Steven??" asked Kevin suspiciously.

"It turns out you're a very extraordinary former Taekwondo coach who easily knocked out opponents" Steven Chan replied.

"I don't need your compliments, answer my question for what did you come to this party for???", asked Kevin with his sharp, suspicious eyes.

Not a word Steven Chan answered a question from Kevin, there Steven Chan just passed away leaving Kevin there.

"I can't wait to see your reaction soon" Steven Chan said in his heart, smiling cynically.

So many eyes saw Kevin who came alone because everyone knew who Kevin was a handsome young businessman and so many women were crazy about him, but right on this night he came alone.

In his solitude, Kevin sought a comfortable seat for him and his journey came to a halt when a beautiful woman came to greet him.

"Good night Kevin, do you remember me??? I'm Gabby, we've met at a party before, haven't we??" Gabby asked as she extended her hand.

"Good night, Miss. Gabby, I'm sorry I don't remember you and it's been a long time that I've never been to a party" Kevin replied and passed away leaving the beautiful woman while ignoring his outstretched hand for her.

"Basic haughty..!!! My hands were not welcomed by him, they were very annoying" Gabby said.

Kevin did not care in the least about what the woman was going to say and all the invited guests who saw it. Kevin just kept stepping towards his seat, but again there was a woman who came and called him.

"Kevin.", greet a woman.

Kevin stopped his steps after hearing a woman call him. Kevin was silent to see a beautiful woman who had once been in his heart and filled his life, who will now be engaged to another man of choice from both parents. It felt like Kevin hugged Viola back but the circumstances now have been much different, because it was just his past.

"Kevin can you take me away from this place, I don't want to get engaged to him. I just love you Kevin" said Viola sadly and almost wanted to cry.

"Viola take care of your attitude, don't do anything that would embarrass you and your family" Kevin said.

"I can't stand Kevin anymore with all this" said Viola bowed sadly.

From a distance all the invited guests noticed them because everyone knew before they had a very close relationship and were almost married. As if Viola no longer wanted to care about everyone's view of him, without thinking long Viola was trying to hug Kevin, but Steven Chan quickly pulled Viola's arm forcefully until Viola let out a scream of pain.

Seeing Steven Chan's extremely rude treatment of Viola made Kevin feel as if he was starting to get black, so he wanted Kevin to hit Steven Chan. But Viola quickly prevented Kevin from doing that to Steven Chan.

In Kevin's mind there seems to be something unnatural between the two of them, but Kevin does not want to complicate his own mind so that Kevin also tried to reduce his own anger.

"Dear Viola, don't you want to introduce me to your ex-boyfriend???!", asked Steven Chan.

"What do you mean Steven??", asked Kevin more suspiciously.

It seems Steven Chan was deliberately trying to make Kevin jealous and furious, until all the way he did including kissing Viola's lips right in front of Kevin.

Roughly and visibly forced Steven Chan began kissing Viola's lips, seeing all his actions as if evoking Kevin's anger that had subsided to make Kevin's hands begin to clench.

"Has your heart been burning, man??!", asked Steven Chan with a cynical smile.

It felt Kevin's anger was mounting, until his fist seemed to want to be directed towards Steven Chan who was right in front of him. While Kevin was about to start making a fuss with Steven Chan, immediately at this crucial time came a beautiful woman who was graceful in a white dress came and immediately grabbed Kevin's clenched hand.

"Stop it and don't do it!!" said a beautiful woman.

Kevin was very surprised when his hand was reached by a woman, so warm his hand was held and when Kevin turned his head towards him it turned out to be a beautiful woman beside him was Dara.

Kevin's anger was slowly muted after Dara's arrival. Tightly, Dara continued to hold Kevin's hand, making Viola jealous to see the two of them so close.

"Who is the woman next to you Kevin???", asked Viola very suspiciously.

"This.", said Kevin.

"This is Ms. Kevin Abraham's future wife" Steven Chan said.

Not finished Kevin answered Viola's question, but Steven Chan was the first to answer it. Listening to Steven Chan's reply, it suddenly made Viola's eyes widened and became hurt so soon Viola left them all there.

"It's very exciting for my party tonight, even more so after your arrival Miss. Dara and tonight you really look very elegant and beautiful" said Steven Chan as he approached Dara.

Dara followed what Kevin had told her, then left them both there.

Kevin and Steven Chan are there, they both still look very tense but not a single invited guest who came dared to approach them because a few years before they were both very famous often fight until fighting because of business or the other thing. However, they can still work together in one job.

"Now what do you want to say, say it??? Don't waste my time on unimportant business like this" Kevin said.

"Ok well, now answer my question. Amongst Nn. Dara and Viola who would you prefer???!!", asked Steven Chan.

"I didn't think you were that stupid not understanding my words. Ok I'll say straight to the point. If you still love Viola so much, I'll be ready to call off the engagement tonight. But first cancel your wedding plans with Ms. Tare. We're going to exchange wives, it's easy, not that in this case you won't be harmed" said Steven Chan.

Kevin was very angry to hear the words of Steven Chan like that, it was very curious to kevin hit his face to the brink and did not care even though so many people were in this place, but Kevin has promised Dara will not do anything silly with Steven Chan. Kevin's anger soon subsided after remembering the promise he had said before to Dara.
