#23: The Wedding Day

"The closer I get to my wedding day, the more I worry and doubt.. Can I have my marriage with that man for the rest of my life??? I don't know!!", said Dara worried and confused..

In the next few days Kevin and Windy made an appointment to meet at a cafe located deliberately not far from the Windy residence.. But still Windy always comes late, making Kevin a very long wait there..

"I'm sorry Kevin, I'm late" said Windy with his gasping breath..

"You never change, you always arrive late" Kevin said, giving Windy a drink..

"This is for me, thank you, M.", said Windy while drinking his drink.

"Well, Kevin, how are you??? Are you well??" asked Windy.

"My news is good and I'm healthy.. The day after tomorrow I'm getting married and I invite you and Aldo to come to my wedding" Kevin said.

"What's married???!! That fast is Kevin getting married??? Who will Kevin marry??? Why did Mas Aldo never tell me about things??!!! It sucks!!", said Windy very annoyed..

So many questions asked by Windy to make Kevin momentarily silent..

"I shouldn't have talked about this with you, so that I wouldn't have a headache listening to all of your questions" Kevin said.

"Did I say it wrong??" asked Windy.

"If not because I wanted to ask you about Ms. Dara, maybe I won't make an appointment with you" Kevin said.

"Did Kevin know about Dara now??? After Dara returned to Bandung, there was not the slightest news from her. I was so sad to feel the loss" said Windy in tears..

"Stop your crying" said Kevin.

"Well, but Kevin can I ask you one question??" asked Windy, holding back his tears.

"What do you want to ask??" asked Kevin.

"Do you have feelings for Dara??" asked Windy.

For a moment Kevin was silent again at the question posed by Windy..

"We've just ended this meeting, I have a very important business after this.. Sorry Windy I can't take you home" Kevin said as he moved from his seat..

"Mas Kevin, if you don't answer my question then you have feelings for Dara!!! I need your answer now, because I want to tell her before she gets married to a man her parents have already married" Windy said..

Not a word of reply came out of Kevin's mouth.. He continued to move on with his steps..

After Kevin came out of the cafe, he began to think about what he had heard from Windy.. Kevin got into his car immediately..

"Is it true that Dara is getting married soon and she is also the same already betrothed by both her parents with a man??? What is all this??? Is what Steven Chan and Viola say true???", said Kevin full of question marks in his heart..

Without thinking long Kevin also drove his car at high speed to his office, while calling Leo..

"Leo immediately came to my office, there are important things that I will talk about" Kevin said by phone..

On the other hand, when Windy was about to leave the cafe suddenly his phone rang, he immediately picked up his phone.. Instantly his steps stopped when he heard the voice of a woman he had not heard for a long time..

"Hello, Windy how are you??" asked a woman on the phone.

"Become.. Is this really you???", asked Windy in surprise.

"Yes right, I'm Dara.. Have you forgotten my voice?" said Dara.

"You're so mean to Dara, why did you just leave without telling me??? I'm so worried about you" said Windy in tears.

"Have you not cried, you seem to look very ugly when you are crying" said Dara laughing.

"You are so silly.!!!", said Windy laughing.

The two of them talked and joked until a few minutes had passed.. And at the end of the conversation, Dara told Windy about her marriage which was only 2 days away..

"Are you getting married in 2 days??? Why is it so fast your wedding??" asked Windy in shock..

"I've told you before, haven't I??" asked Dara.

"Yes I still remember it very much, but I'm sorry Dara on your wedding day I can't attend because my husband is out of town to take care of his business, I couldn't have come to your wedding by myself. Maybe after my husband comes home from his business I will come to your residence in Bandung to see you" Windy told a lie.

It was impossible for Windy to tell his best friend the truth that he could not attend his party.

"On the same day and date you and Kevin will have a wedding, whether this is just a coincidence or indeed it has been your destiny. What is clear is that I cannot tell you that on that day Mas Kevin will be married like you.", Inner Windy.

"Windy.. Windy..!!! Are you still listening to me??!!", asked Dara.

"Oh, yes I still listen to you" replied Windy.

"Alright, next time we'll resume our conversation. Always take care of your health, Windy" said Dara.

"OK, take care of yourself too" Windy said.

They end the conversation by phone, but Windy still thinks about all the words spoken by Dara.

In the office Kevin was waiting for the arrival of Leo, after waiting for 1 hour more finally Leo came to see Kevin.

"Good day, Mr. Kevin", said Leo.

"Yes good afternoon, I have been waiting for you for a long time" Kevin replied.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kevin for my delay" Leo said.

"Well, then what about the results of your investigation??" asked Kevin.

"Sorry Mr. Kevin, I have not been able to report the results of our investigation because the data we obtained is not complete. But the results of the provisional investigation, we have found the address where Mala lived" Leo replied.

"Ok well, resume your investigation. I want the results of your full investigation to be obtained in the near future" said Kevin.

"Ready Mr. Kevin", replied Leo.

"Well one more assignment, I need you to investigate a woman named Dara. Tomorrow I wait for the results of your investigation", Kevin ordered.

"Well Mr. Kevin" said Leo and left his boss' room.

In Loneliness Kevin begins to become reminded of the words of his Mother a few days ago when his Mother came to his apartment. Kevin remembered it again..

"Mother stay here tonight, I'm so lonely" said Kevin as he served dinner at the dinner table.

"Sorry dear, Mother can not realize your request but another day Mother will spend the night here" replied Mother.

"At your age like this you should be married and have a companion. So be patient baby because soon you will get married and later you will not feel lonely anymore", said Mother.

"Why is Mother so talking about it???", asked Kevin in surprise.

"Because Mother wants to quickly draw a grandchild from you" replied Mother.

Kevin choked after listening to his mother's answer. Seeing Kevin's face that immediately became reddened Mother only laughed amusedly and then Mother immediately gave her son a glass of drinking water.

"Especially what we expected after you got married, if not grandchildren.. Oya dear, do you not want to know who your future wife will be???", asked Mommy.

"I don't think it's necessary because sooner or later I'll find out" Kevin replied.

"Ok fine, if you want it that way. But if you change your mind you can ask Mother" said Mother.

Remembering all that, Kevin increasingly wanted to know immediately who the woman he would be in a match until he could not wait to immediately find out the results of the investigation Leo his men.

"Is it true, Ms. Dara is the woman I've been betrothed to???", asked Kevin.

Towards the wedding day every bride and groom will certainly feel the tension, but not for Kevin. For him the most stressful thing is to wait for the results of the investigation from Leo his men. But for some reason before his wedding day which is only a matter of hours, his mother does not allow him to hold a mobile phone, he said, laptop and other electronic items because Kevin's mother wants him to focus on his marriage not with anything else including his business.

Already 2 days all Kevin's activities are limited and almost dispensed by his Mother, for the same reason. As if it felt like inside the prison just sitting in the room without anything that can be done. For the sake of his mother, even the most stubborn Kevin would obey all his orders and requests without complaining in front of him.

Until finally there was someone who entered his room and seemed to make Kevin very grateful and happy for the arrival of his best friend Ivan.

"Hii, buddy your face looks so tense???!!", said Ivan laughing.

"Forget your question, now I really need your phone" Kevin said, checking Ivan's pants pocket.

"Kevin, what are you doing???!! Are you in your right mind doing this to me???", asked Ivan with suspicion.

"Don't you think things don't make sense Ivan. Lend me your phone immediately", Kevin ordered.

"Did I come here at the right time???", asked Ivan while lending him his phone.

"Ivan can you not be as chatty as a woman??? I need calm right now" Kevin said exasperatedly.

Looking at Kevin's extremely irritated face, Ivan could only laugh in his heart.

Kevin looks very busy, because he is looking for Leo's phone number. He began to ask for information from his employees at the office but because today is a holiday and the office is closed so there is no other option finally he asked the company Security to look for a number which he wanted.

"Ivan for a while I borrowed your phone, because I was waiting for a call from someone" Kevin said.

"Ahead of your wedding day, are you still busy with the other women???" asked Ivan.

"It's more important than the women" Kevin replied briefly.

"Ok okay.. Once you're done packing, I'll be waiting for you in the car. I will take you to your bride-to-be" said Ivan and passed away leaving Kevin alone in his room.

Kevin was still very anxious waiting for the phone to come in, can't wait he wanted to quickly find out who the woman he would be paired with.. While Kevin was opening Ivan's phone accidentally he saw some of his photo collection. Kevin did not expect it turned out so much Ivan collected photos of Dara obtained from Instagram.

"Did you love him so much Ivan??!!", said Kevin.

Slowly Kevin opened Dara's Instagram and saw one by one his photos, Kevin just smiled at the poses while taking pictures and immediately Kevin saw a picture of Dara's family while with his parents..

"Is this really a photo of Om Darma and Aunt Risma??? But why are the two of them with Dara??? Is Dara is???", asked Kevin..
