#36. Dara's affair

"What feelings do you want to convey to me, Mas??? Do you still have feelings for your ex-lover???!! O God, am I ready to listen to all the words of my husband later!!!", said Dara.

"Darling what are you daydreaming about??!!", asked Kevin.

"Oh, no dear!!!", replied Dara with a faint smile.

"It should have been from the beginning of our marriage, I told you everything. But why don't you ever ask me anything about my past??? Do you trust me so much??" asked Kevin as he sat on the floor and grabbed his wife's hands.

Slowly Dara began to move from her seat and grabbed her husband's hands while driving her to sit together on the sofa.

Dara simply gave her husband her sweet smile before he said the answer to the question asked by her husband, it seemed to make Kevin become more guilty to him to make Kevin's head bowed full of regret.

"Darling, didn't it come after the Pledge of the Qobul Pledge was uttered by you, from that day on I have to fully trust my own husband??? And of course every human being has a past, it does not mean I do not care about your past but if the past is always remembered in our lives, so how can we live our new life and future???" said Dara sage.

For a moment Kevin just fell silent listening to the words of his very wise wife. Then he got up from his seat and slowly stroked his wife's beautiful hair.

"I'm so lucky to have a wife like you baby" said Kevin smiling.

"Does Kevin just want to say that to me??" asked Dara.

"Then don't you want to know about my past with Viola??" asked Kevin.

"Viola!!!", shrieked Dara's inner self.

Now it's Dara's turn to be silent listening to all the stories from her husband about her past with Viola, even though she has learned about it from her best friend Windy's story. But it turns out Kevin was so very honest to tell everything without the slightest thing he covered.

"Viola's just my past and now you're my future, baby. It's just you love me forever" said Kevin, kissing his forehead and hugging Dara tightly..

So happy was Dara who was loved by her husband and it seemed to erode the doubts her heart saw Kevin's past with Viola.

On the other hand in a different place, sadness seemed to be so very enveloping Viola's heart because the struggle of his love to return to Kevin's embrace was just futile. He was angry and cried because he did not accept this statement.

"Based on a fucking woman!!! You're interrupting my love story with Kevin, just see what I'm going to do to you!!!", said Viola wrathfully as he slammed whatever was in his room.

The next day, very early in the morning Kevin had left home because he had to go to the airport for the first flight to Batam.

In Dara's solitude, secretly without her husband's knowledge, she begins to contact a man by phone to arrange their meeting on this day after Kevin's departure from town.

In a cafe located far from his residence, the man Dara will meet is waiting for his arrival there. A few minutes later Dara arrived at the cafe and without hesitation he immediately approached the table that had been ordered by the man.

"Good day", greeted the man as he extended his hand to Dara.

"Good day" Dara answered and shook the man's hand.

The two of them also talked to each other by talking about something there and without Dara realizing it had been from his residence since he had been followed by a woman who was none other than Viola.

So lucky is Viola today because he has evidence of Dara's decay behind Kevin, without wasting time he immediately took the phone in his bag and then immediately photographed Dara and the man secretly.

"Based on a fucking woman!!! Your dragon face is capable of deceiving my Kevin. I'm gonna take this photo to prove that you've been having an affair with another man. I can't wait to see you in a crush by Kevin!!! Feel my vengeance!!!", inner Viola.

On the other hand upon arrival Kevin in Batam, he was greeted by his best friend Aldo at the airport. On his way to the branch office, Kevin also told Aldo about the arrival of Viola in his life. Listening to that almost Aldo did not believe because Viola had been away for a very long time, but now he came back.

"Be careful Kevin!!! I'm worried about Dara's safety" Aldo said as he drove the car.

"My gut also said so" said Kevin.

"Then what is your purpose in coming to Batam???", asked Aldo.

"I have a meeting this afternoon with Mr. Teddy at The Evitel Hotel" Kevin replied.

"Why don't you just order me to attend the meeting, so you don't have to come all the way here??" asked Aldo in surprise.

"I know you're very busy with all your work here. Especially since Windy gave birth to your baby, she definitely needs you at home" Kevin replied.

"I guess that's your reason!!! You shouldn't have to feel sorry about that. I knew that Windy was spoiled and troubled to take care of our baby alone without any parents accompanying us at home. But you don't have to worry because now Windy is used to her new role as a young mother with 1 baby" Aldo explained.

"Thank God that the spoiled one is now wiser with his new role" Kevin chuckled.

"How about now, do we continue your journey back to The Evitel Hotel??? Or do we go back to the airport???", asked Aldo.

"I think we stopped by a cafe on the side of the road because my head hurt a little" Aldo replied.

"Boss are you unwell???", asked Aldo worriedly.

"Ah, it sounds stiff you called me Boss!!! I'm fine", Kevin replied.

"Hahahaha, I haven't called you Boss for a long time!!!" said Aldo.

"Now you're the boss here" Kevin said.

"Yes Kevin, all this is because of your help until I take a position in this company. Thank you Kevin", Aldo smiled.

"There's no need to be such a point, buddy!!! All of this is the result of your hard work for 7 years working in our company. Whoever your boss is, if you have employees like you, your career path can reach this stage" said Kevin.

They both continued their journey back to a cafe located on the side of the road.

They both unwind by sitting in the cafe while chatting casually, because they have not chatted like this for a long time.

"What about baby Zee??? My wife loves and misses him so much, that every night before bed she would tell me about your daughter Aldo's cuteness" Kevin said.

"Thank God, my wife will be very happy with the arrival of baby Zee to Jakarta" said Kevin smiling.

"What about Ivan now??? Did you get any news from him??", asked Kevin.

"Ivan's news is good and healthy, a few days ago he called me" replied Aldo.

"Why has he never contacted me, is he still angry and hates me??" muttered Kevin.

"Buddy, Ivan has never been angry or hated you. But he is worried that he will bother you later" Aldo said.

As the two of them chatted, Kevin's phone rang. For a moment Kevin was silent to see the incoming call from a phone number that he did not recognize, then he ignored the incoming call. But not for some time the same phone number again called him, to make Kevin feel disturbed.

"Bless your phone, it might be an important phone!!" said Aldo.

"Who is this??!!", asked Kevin.

"My dear Kevin, why did you delete my phone number??? Then can't you speak softly and politely as usual!!!".

"Viola!!!", said Kevin.

"Viola???!!", muttered Aldo in wonder.

"What's your interest in calling me??? Say soon??? I don't have time to listen to long-winded things" Kevin said in a high tone.

"Basic asshole!!! I think that woman has brainwashed you into making you this rude to me!!!", said Viola annoyed.

"Just stop saying that and never say that about my wife again!!! If you call me just want to say that unimportant thing, I'll hang up!!! threaten Kevin to get angry.

"Huh, shit!!! You've changed so much Kevin!!!", said Viola.

"Say the important thing!!! Otherwise, I'll hang up now!!!", said Kevin.

"Stop!!! Ok, ok I will say!!!", said Viola.

Viola finally said what he wanted to tell Kevin about Dara having an affair with a man at a cafe, while Kevin was at work.

Listening to the words of Viola seemed to make Kevin more furious with his ex-girlfriend for saying something no to his wife. Kevin was very distrustful of what he had said, then with anger that began to peak immediately Kevin immediately turned off his phone.

"Well!!! Damn it!!", grumbled Kevin.

"What's up Kevin??? What did Viola say??!!", asked Aldo curiously.

"I think Viola is out of her mind!!!", replied Kevin as he clucked furiously.

"What do you mean??!!", asked Aldo increasingly confused.

"He said that my wife is currently having an affair with a man at a cafe!!!", Kevin said furiously.

"What??? Cheating!!!", said Aldo very surprised.

Not long after Kevin's phone again sounded the notification of the incoming message sent by Viola, then Kevin quickly opened the incoming message and was very surprised Kevin when he saw a picture of his wife being with another man.

As if Kevin had climbed black, until with his rage he threw his phone in every direction. Seeing that Aldo immediately caught Kevin's phone that crashed.

Aldo is very aware of the character of his Boss so that he can know the change in mood of his Boss that changes suddenly, especially when he is angry like this.

Without asking Kevin anything, then Aldo saw his boss's phone. So surprised Aldo saw the photo and he did not believe what he had seen at this time.

"Kevin, Dara can't possibly do this behind your back!!! I'm pretty sure of that" Aldo said.

"I'm pretty sure of that, too, but how did Viola get that photo???" asked Kevin.

"Is it possible for Viola to follow Dara??? That would be very dangerous for him!!", said Aldo.

Listening to the words of Aldo, made Kevin become worried about Dara's situation until he immediately contacted Dara but it turns out his phone is not active, it seems to make Kevin's mood more and more unreasonable.

"Huh, why is the phone off???!! What exactly is Viola planning on doing with my wife??? Damn it!!", grumbled Kevin while rubbing his face violently.

With great difficulty Kevin arrived in Batam, but he finally canceled his goal to meet with Mr. Teddy and hand over the meeting at noon to Aldo.

So many questions that are in the mind of Kevin, because of the news delivered by Viola about Dara who is having an affair. This made Kevin in a hurry to return to the airport and immediately return to Jakarta.

On the other hand, Viola was so happy and happy with the revelation of Dara's affair, that he drank alcohol to celebrate his success which had made Kevin's heart become broken for the choice of his life partner.

"Taste that bitch!!! I will reclaim Kevin's heart and bring him into my arms!!!", said Viola, laughing.

On the way back to Jakarta, Kevin was constantly grumbling in his mind, because he did not believe what had happened to his household.

"Can't he do that behind my back??? This must be Viola's dirty plan to frame my wife!!! Shit man!!! Then now what should I do???", asked Kevin.

The journey felt very long for Kevin, so impatient he wanted to get home and immediately asked about a photo of himself with another man.

Kevin's resentment seems to have not subsided in the slightest, but he is still curious about the figure of the man in the photo because of the position of his body that turns his back on the cellphone camera when in the photo. The results throughout the trip to Jakarta he still continued to see the photos on his phone.

"On arrival in Jakarta, I should contact Leo immediately. In no time Leo has to find the identity of the man!!! Hah, is that man tired of living in this world until he dared to approach the wife of Kevin Abraham???!", Kevin's inner grumble.
