#35: Me, Him And Ex-Lover

On this cold night, they both pledged their holy vows under the moonlight. It was as if the moon bore witness to the happiness of both of them..

The days went by so fast that their marriage was 2 months long. A very harmonious life is full of love and affection between the two, but the happiness of the household Dara and Kevin seemed incomplete because there were no signs of pregnancy on the beloved wife.

So impatient Kevin waited for that moment, until every day he always watched his wife every time he woke up..

"Good morning dear" said Kevin as he kissed his wife's forehead.

"Good morning, too, dear.. Hmmm, what's the matter dear???", asked Dara in surprise.

"Darling do you feel nauseous??? Or a little dizzy??", asked Kevin with a face that looked serious.

"Oh my God, baby.. I felt nothing, let alone both" Dara replied.

It was as if Kevin's face instantly changed drastically after listening to the answer from his wife. His face momentarily bowed miserably, making Dara become silent.

"Darling, be patient.. We got married just 2 months, maybe it's not time for me to get pregnant" Dara said as she gently touched Kevin's face.

"You're right baby, but I'm pretty sure you'll soon be pregnant" said Kevin smiling as he kissed his wife's stomach.

"Aamiin O Allah" answered Dara smiling and stroking her husband's hair.

After breakfast, as usual Dara brought some files and a small bag owned by her husband while driving him to the front porch of the house. Before leaving Dara kissed the back of her husband's hand and was countered with a warm kiss that landed on the forehead and lips of his beloved wife.

Dara's hand wave accompanied Kevin's departure to his office.

After marriage and honeymoon, Dara now lives in a small and simple housing, because she does not want to live in her residence there are other people besides the two of them, so that all the housework Dara did it.

Dara's independence was obtained since she left home a few months ago and now she is also good at cooking thanks to the help of her husband who always teaches her to cook.

Every day after all the homework was done Dara immediately went to the kitchen to cook the food that would be brought by her to Kevin's office.

So happy is Dara with this marriage that she can not express all her happy feelings in words.

When Dara was cooking her phone rang, she saw the incoming call from her phone and made sure that the one who called her was Windy. Dara immediately lifted her phone and turned off the stove, then sat down at the dinner table to listen to the stories of her husband's best friend and cousin.

"Assalamualaikum.", said Windy.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" said Dara.

Dara's morning routine in addition to doing homework and cooking is receiving a video call from Windy to listen to all her stories with her little baby. After giving birth a month ago Windy and Aldo stayed in Batam because of the task given by Kevin to hold a branch of the company that was there.

Distance and time seem unable to separate the two of them, because every day they will always take turns to call each other,  but their conversation day was not as long as usual because today Dara had business going to Kevin's office early before lunch.

"Ok be careful Aunty Dara!!!", said Windy with her baby daughter.

"This month you have to come to Jakarta, because I miss Zeenea so much. Ok, thank you.. Bye baby Zee's.. Muachhh!!!", said Dara and hung up.

Dara quickly put Kevin's lunch into the container he had provided, then went to his room to pack himself.

The trip is slightly stalled so that requires Dara to be patient while driving his car. And in less than 1 hour he finally arrived at Kevin's office.

On his way to the parking lot, he only smiled when he saw the location of the first time he met Kevin. Anger and anger towards her husband when the past events occurred as if it appeared in her mind that made her become reminded again and she began to grow angry at the actions of her husband in his past.

"Hmmm, Kevin was very silly what you did at that time. Just be careful if it happens to another woman!!! I will not hesitate to strangle you alive!!!", muttered Dara chuckling.

Arriving Dara at Kevin's office, all employees welcomed him as usual, but this time Dara asked to return so that there was no crowd or welcome upon his arrival.

"This is enough for the last time because it's too much and makes me very uncomfortable" Dara said.

"Well Mother Dara", replied all employees.

Dara continued her journey back to her husband's room but her steps were stopped after Kevin's employees called her.

"Mother Dara, Mr. Kevin is having a guest inside" Gita said.

"Oh so, well I'll wait for him here. Thank you, Dara" said.

"Together Mother Dara, excuse me", said Gita.

It had been 30 minutes for Dara to wait for her husband on the sofa that had been provided, but at once her anxiety appeared when hearing from inside like there was a noise of women.

"Who's the guest who came to see Mas Kevin??? Why is there a woman's voice cursing at my husband??!", asked Dara.

The noise coming from inside her husband's room, increasingly makes Dara become riled up to make her curious to know more. Without a second thought Dara went straight into her husband's room and was shocked when Dara saw her husband hugging another woman..

"Vi, Viola!!!", said Dara in surprise.

"Darling!!! Wait for you to misunderstand Miss, this isn't what you see!!!", said Kevin as he pushed Viola's body away from her.

"What do you mean Kevin??!!", asked Viola dumbfounded.

"From the beginning I told you Viola that I'm married!!", replied Kevin.

"No way, I don't believe what you say!!! You're boasting Kevin" Viola said.

Listening to all the explanations from Kevin made Viola's heart hit and seemed to not accept all the facts that were before him, until Viola wanted to hurt Dara because he was upset with all this. Seeing that Kevin did not stay still, he immediately grabbed Dara's body and immediately hugged her to protect her.

"Kevin, you're so mean!!! I've told you before, I'll fight for our love but why did you betray me by marrying an asshole like him???!!!", maki Viola while pointing towards Dara who was beside Kevin.

"So your mouth Viola!!! What the traitor and son of a bitch should be saying is you Viola!!! This woman beside me who has become my wife is more noble-hearted than you!!! All this time you thought I didn't know all your betrayal and infidelity with another man when behind me!!", maki Kevin was furious.

"What do you mean!!! You're accusing me of Kevin!!", argued Viola and began to cry.

"You don't dodge Viola!!! You think I'm stupid not knowing!!! I'm not stupid not knowing all that stuff, though, but I was so blind because I loved you so much that I considered all the bad things wind then even though I felt so much pain in my heart but I still forgive you and want to accept you at that time", said Kevin furious.

Seeing her husband who is so angry with her ex-boyfriend that all the past love story they both revealed before Dara's eyes. Viola's sorrow seemed as if he was being so-so and Dara was unable to do anything at that moment until her lips seemed to be locked tightly. But immediately Kevin grabbed his hand and invited him to go out of his room and leave Viola there alone.

I don't know where her husband will take Dara, but what is clear in both eyes really shows how much Kevin loved her at that time.

"Your eyes shine cannot be ignored, you love him so much Kevin. Hopefully I can be as lucky as it seems", Dara's inner.

Seen her husband's mood is still not improving, Dara also took her to go to a baby supply store. Along the way to get there, Kevin just fell silent and seemed reluctant to let out his voice..

"Darling, are you okay???", asked Dara while in control of her car.

"Mas Kevin..!!! Did you hear me??" asked Dara.

"Alright then, I will focus on driving" said Dara smiling and holding her cold hand.

It seems Kevin was silent because he still remembered all the events in his room until all the words of his wife could not make him realize, but his warm touch was immediately able to wake Kevin from his daydream.

When Dara began to focus on driving suddenly Kevin leaned his head on his wife's shoulder, it seemed to make Dara became very surprised and he immediately marginalized his vehicle to the side of the road that was quiet.

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to do that before your eyes!!! I didn't expect after months of Viola coming back into my life and it all just happened without my control. Will you forgive me, dear??", asked Kevin while hugging his wife's body.

"Huh, I can't say anything when I see Mas Kevin with him!!! My heart hurts so much, Kevin!!!", complained Dara as she sighed.

"Aren't you willing to forgive me??" asked Kevin anxiously as he looked into his wife's eyes with a look of remorse.

"I'll forgive you, but remember you have to promise never to do that again!!!", said the smiling dara.

"All right, I promise!!! If I break it, I'm ready to take punishment from you" Kevin smiled as he hugged his wife.

"Thank you dear, your heart is very noble and forgiving!!!", said Kevin.

"Well, baby, where are we going??" asked Kevin.

"Honey, you just sit quietly because I'm going to take you somewhere you're going to really like it" Dara replied smiling and starting to drive her car.

Kevin's face immediately changed to become more cheerful after Dara invited him to the baby equipment store.

"Darling are you pregnant??" asked Kevin.

"Not yet, I'm not pregnant, baby. But if I get pregnant later I want to buy this toy" replied Dara.

"What kind of a variety is this??" asked Kevin in surprise.

"This is a baby toy that if you press the button will sound" replied Dara smiling.

"Hahahaha, it's funny that it looks like a horse!!" said Kevin captivated.

"Oh, Kevin!!! This is indeed a horse-shaped toy!!!", said Dara laughing while covering her face.

"What are you doing, why are you closing your pretty face. Is your husband that stupid not knowing this??? I am just teasing you, baby. Whatever you want and you ask, as long as I can I will make it happen" Kevin said as he grabbed Dara's body.

And just as Kevin was about to try to kiss his wife for a moment, the store clerk came to surprise Kevin, making him feel embarrassed with a reddened face. Seeing that Dara just smiled knot while holding her husband's hand.

Now the happiness had been radiated back on Kevin's face, but Dara's heart still felt something that stuck since seeing Viola's presence in the middle of their household life. Dara also tried to reject and dispose of his bad premonition of the midwife at a later date.

"May this be my feeling alone and all this have no meaning whatsoever", Dara hoped.

In the evening before they went to sleep, Kevin also approached Dara who was sitting in front of the dresser while wearing night cream on her face. Looks her husband's movements that look strange to make Dara become uncomfortable.
