The black shadow flew at the speed of light and before anyone could react, a hand had slapped his face so firmly, that it turned to the side.

The crowd was shocked. Never in a billion years did they expect Zheng Tianyi to attack a woman.

Zhao Lifei's face immediately swung to the side with so much force, he knew he was hit by a whip. Tears gathered in her eyes due to the stinging pain in her cheeks, but she endured it.

"Yes God! Tianyi, are you okay?!" Xia Mengxi immediately grabbed onto Zheng Tianyi's rough hand and calluses. It was bright red because of how hard he hit it.

"Is it really painful?" She gently asked him with her sweet voice like honey. He blew into his red hand, lightly rubbing his cold fingers against it.

Zheng Tianyi's eyes softened as he looked at the fragile woman beside him. "I'm fine, honey." He whispered to her.

Zhao Lifei hatefully looked at the couple.

Zheng Tianyi had one hand wrapped around Xia Mengxi's waist, hugging her very close to him. When Zhao Lifei saw him holding Xia Mengxi like the most precious object in the world, he almost laughed.

Who would have thought that the devil could love?

Zhao Lifei looked red. He slowly stood up, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, and in an instant, he wanted blood to spill.

But there is a force holding him back. "Stay below, it's futile to fight" A voice whispered to him.

When Zhao Lifei glanced to the side, she was surprised to see her reflection in the mirror. Has he gone crazy? Did all this anger and delusions end up happening to her? Did Zheng Tianyi slap his wits?

"He will destroy you if you try to fight him. Calm down." The woman gently told Zhao Lifei.

When Zhao Lifei reached out to push the woman away, the hand went straight through her. Gasping in shock, Zhao Lifei looked at the woman with her eyes wide open. And that's when the floor below collapsed.

Zheng Tianyi and Xia Mengxi had left. The people who ridiculed and humiliated him had left.

Zhao Lifei stood in the abyss of darkness, unsure of where his mistake was.
