Not Just Love

Not Just Love
Chapter 38. Musabab

The weather is a little different from yesterday. This morning, the wind seemed to blow hard, mega on blackened, small flashes like colliding in the sky. The trees swung, following where the wind took them. The leaves fly, without having time to say goodbye.

A glass of hot coffee and sandwiches, which looked cold, perched on the table. The owner, sitting with a dark view outside. I don't know what's interesting there, other than fear, because the wind blows everything.

He took a sip of his hot coffee, with the glare of the eyes still not shifting from the scenery outside. Spots of rain, slowly falling soaked the ground. Little by little the water of the sky, now loud, accompanied by the deafening sound of thunder.

The corner of his lips lifted, as if enjoying the sight. He wiggled his cup, emitting hot steam inside.

"Happy birthday, May," he said.

Zamar put down her cup, grabbed her phone that rang in her pants pocket. His thumb, not directly rubbing the screen. He noticed the name Sandra, who called so early in the morning.

"What's wrong?"

"Can we meet?"

"Tell me. The weather's bad outside."

"About our divorce. Can you provide me with a place to live abroad? I want to stay there."

"alright. I'll set it."

"In addition, I want our divorce to be done secretly. I don't want to, deal with the media."

"I understand."

"thank you. I'm closed."

Like strangers, even though their previous friendship was very familiar. Feelings that should not exist now create distance between the two.

The rain is getting heavier, the weather that some people, choose to wrestle in a blanket. In a cup, only half. The bread he bought last night, he hadn't touched.

Zamar moved, opening the wardrobe. A lot of women's clothes hang, mixed with hers. He chose a black shirt, just like the weather today.

"Good morning, sir."

"Morning. You're too punctual, Huan." Zamar folded his shirt arms. "Have you met a lawyer?"

"Already, Sir. I've already submitted your divorce papers."

"Hm. Waita minute!" Zamar went back into the room.

And Huan looked at him worriedly. The dilemma between promise and command, which one to choose.

Overnight,

"Well, you've never seen me, Huan."

"Miss, can you come back? Sir, are you looking for you?"

"For what?" Maya grins. "I told you never to look for me."

"Miss. Please, give him a chance to fix it."

"Huan, I consider you a friend. Please, promise not to tell us about our meeting. There is nothing to fix, because it is all done. I'm married."

"What...?"

That night, Huan was flabbergasted, even Zamar's call, passed by. Until, the clap landed on his shoulder.

"Go home, you come with me."

Zamar walked first, a black suit perched in his arms.

"What am I supposed to do there?"

"Round around."

Huan was speeding slowly, several vehicles were speeding at the same speed. Short visibility, plus the rain that continues to flutter.

"Master. What if Miss Maya, is married?" Huan tried to open up the conversation, which he really shouldn't have asked.

"Huan. Never say that phrase, out of your lips" said Zamar. "He's mine."

"But, how_"

"Shut up! Damn it!"

"I'm sorry, sir."

Zamar leaned back, his eyes closed, his breathing gusts sounding heavy. His mood, again deteriorated.

In the office, he walked with a scary face. Highlight his sharp eyes and his jaw tightening. Employees who intend to say hello, choose to avoid, as a safe way.

In front of the room, there were two male employees, waiting. They bow their heads, as a sign of respect.

"Sir secretary, we're from the finance division."

"Tomorrow. You guys come back tomorrow. His mood is bad."

"Good, sir."

Huan closed the door from outside. Maybe, leave it alone, it's better. Not without reason, he said it. Because, Maya's words, were very disturbing to her mind.

What if it's true, he's married? Huan, probably won't be able to, face Zamar. The guy who's been emotional lately. And sure enough, the sound of broken items already resounded inside. One by one, the sound of other items followed.

"Married? Just try, if you dare, Maya?"

Prang, prong...

Nothing else, stuff within sight. Zamar left his waist, then cried out in frustration. Tight, the words of Huan, which he could not accept.

"Master," Huan was already standing firm, taking into account the state of the room.

"Get out!" expel Zamar.

"Mrs, she's in the lobby with Miss Sandra's mom. I can only hold them for a few minutes."

Zamar took a deep breath, before replying. "Done up!" Then, get out of the room, and stop by for a moment to slam the door.

"Where are you going, baby?" Resti had greeted him outside the room, right in front of his door.

"You guys here?" Mother's question, answered with a question.

"We want to talk about something important. You have time, right?"

"All right." Zamar stepped into the next room. A small room used for briefings, with directors.

"Here" Resti handed me two flight tickets. "Your mother-in-law and mother-in-law have booked their honeymoon tickets. All right, you guys are doing baby tube processing overseas."

Zamar exhaled. A sign, he did not like this idea. The old man, who was too meddling, made her even more suffocated by this marriage.

"I can't. Much work. We've been married for a long time, the honeymoon is no longer necessary. Baby tube problems, I haven't decided."

"Zamar. My mom planned this a long time. Are you gonna let your mom down?" Both manic Resti, staring pity.

"Son, mother. Trouble arranging it for you. He even asked our friend for help, to reserve the best hotel there. He also had an appointment with the doctor at the hospital. If you don't go, it will be a waste of effort" Sandra's mother added with a face like her iron. Moreover, adding a lot of spice to the struggle, as if they were doing it themselves.

"I'm not leaving, Ma. Don't force me!" Zamar returned the ticket. "We're getting a divorce."

"What....?" Sandra's mother flinched.

"Zamar," cried Resti. "Mama won't allow it. Sandra's a fine woman and you chose her to be your wife."

"Ma, this time, please don't interfere anymore. I'm not a kid, who has to ask your permission. My marriage is my personal business."

"Why? You guys have been fine all along." Resti got up, pulled his son's arm in anger. "Nearly three years, haven't you forgotten that damn woman?"

"Mama.... "

"Why? You don't like it? Remember, what he did to us! Mama accepted it sincerely, did not question the origin of her family, because Mama thought, it is not a problem. But, why did he humiliate Mama by cheating? You know, how happy Mama is, taking care of your wedding? And what, did he give you?"

"Enough!" Zamar lowered his intonation. "You guys, you better go home!"

"No. Mama's not leaving until you tell Mama the obvious reason."

"Mama, talk about this at home. I've got a lot of work." Zamar has already stepped away.

"Remember, Zamar. Mama's daughter-in-law, just one. Mama won't accept any woman, you mean that damn woman!"
