Not Just Love

Not Just Love
Chapter 43. Lamented (2)

At the apartment, Zamar stepped in with a shackle. There was no energy, other than the fragility he felt.

"I think he's taking it, Huan. Looking at Mama's gaze, I just realized. He doesn't like it." Zamar sighed.

"I was devastated, saw Mama who was sick and had to bear the shame. She even asked me to accept Maya and marry her" said Zamar, who continued to carry the burden of her heart. "He even wants a grandchild." Zamar laughed bitterly.

"Master. As for the child, maybe he's grown up now."

Zamar's heart, as if it stopped beating. He looked quickly and his eyes changed. As if, just realized something very important, in addition to the unraveling of the mother's lies.

"Sir."

Zamar, unable, uttered a single word in his lips. Only her tears, which had already slid down. He shook his head a few times, his right hand squeezing his chest, which was very painful. The oxygen around him, as if depleted, until the sound of his breathing, sounded heavy and his face reddened.

"Master, Master," Huan panicked, swiftly holding Zamar's unsteady body.

His entire body, suddenly weak, seemed to lose a buffer. His bones, as if unable to support his body anymore.

"My son, Huan. Oh, myGod!" His eyes were swimming, he dropped his head on the secretary's shoulders. Sobbing, there.

"Master, I promise, will find them. Please, strong!"

"I can't stand it, Huan. Maya fought without me. My son must have lived in deprivation and suffering. I can't imagine it."

"Sir, sit!" Huan ransacked Zamar, headed for the sofa.

"Leave me, Huan. I want to be alone."

"But, Mr_"

"Please, let me." Huan nodded, though hesitant, he still left.

Just now, the door was closed. Zamar immediately kowtowed, with a jidat attached to his arm. He almost kissed the floor and cried without a sound. The shadow of Maya, who begged and knelt at her feet, made her chest like a squeeze, making it difficult to breathe. The more she mentioned Maya's name, Zamar's tears spilled. The more he apologized in his tears, the more his chest squeezed his breathing.

"Sorry." One word, which made Zamar's heart very sick. He cried bitterly, with a hoarse and heart-wrenching voice. "I'm sorry, torment, torment."

Mucus, covering his nose and filling his throat. He had difficulty breathing, plus his head was throbbing pain. But, what made him unable to endure, was a heartache mixed with regret, which seemed to tear his chest apart. Disappointed and angry at her mother and remorse for Maya.

Zamar got up, sat down with his knees bent down. His gaze was blurry and slowly blackened.

"Sir."

Huan's voice sounded faintly in his hearing. His eyes narrowed and blurry. The smell of alcohol, piercing his sense of smell.

"Where?"

"Hospital. You okay?"

Zamar only nodded weakly and closed his eyes again.

"Do I need to call a servant, to accompany you?"

"No. Go, finish your work. You can come back later."

"alright. Sir, please call me, if you need any help."

"Hm."

Huan said goodbye, as he opened the door, two small children entered the room, abruptly. The female, with her hair shaved, stood long enough in front of the door. He looked around, as if he was looking for someone.

"Tante Fila, not here" he shouted, in a furious tone. "O..., hello o'm handsome!" He ran towards Zamar, drawing the hand of the boy, whose face resembled his.

Huan did not come out, he went back in and watched the two children intensely. His eyes widened, as the boy, returned his gaze.

"Hello, Aira." Zamar got up. "What are you doing here?"

"Cali, aunt Fila. But, I didn't meet you. Om handsome, sick?"

"Yes. Om, just plain sick." Zamar bowed, reached out to take the two children, and climbed on the bed. "Om, kangen," hugged Zamar.

"Why are you guys coming home so soon? In fact, Om has come, want to invite you to swim."

"Oh, I have a kelja. Ask, hurry home." Khaira took something from inside her mini sling bag. "Om, Aila wants a birthday. Do not upa, bring gifts, a lot of." He gave a pink birthday invitation, with a barbie motif.

"Om, it's coming."

"Aila, go home first. Want cali, aunt Fila, everywhere." He kissed Zamar's cheek, until it rang. Zamar chuckled in amusement and anxiety.

"Khay, don't kiss, Om?"

"No. Give me a call, Om." Khay waved his hand and Zamar grew even louder. For a moment, he forgot his strange problem, because of their presence.

"Huan, between them. Help them find the tant."

"Good, Sir."

Huan held both of their hands, on the right and left sides.

The silence, back on. Zamar was still staring, the door closed. Hopefully, the two kids will be back.

"May, are our children, as big as they are?" he looked up at the funny birthday invitation. In fact, they were both birthdays, but the invitation seemed to lead more to Khaira. Cute, yet domineering little girl. And the nature of his brother, looks cold, but always succumbed.

Zamar turned his head, as the door of his room opened. Huan returned, alone and Zamar looked disappointed.

"Have you found their aunt?"

"Already, Sir. She's Miss Saphira, doctor Ansel's sister."

"Ah, right. I have to see that doctor. Is he on duty here?"

"I asked the nurse, she said she had moved out, her parents' hospital."

"So, he has his own hospital? But, why even work here."

"I don't know, Sir. But, I think we can meet him, repeat his son's year."

"You're right. Tomorrow, help me find them a gift." Zamar smiled knot. "You see that little girl? He's very funny. I met them on the beach around the Villa."

"Master. I'm sorry, but I feel weird about them."

"Why?" Zamar furrowed his eyebrows.

"They're exactly the face of you."

"You kidding me?" Zamar chuckles. However, it looked back at Huan, with a different look. "That boy, very similar to you, sir. And sorry, if I go too far." Huan gave two strands of hair that were different lengths.

"Huan, this has gone too far. Although, similar. But, that's impossible."

"Master, facial resemblance, can only be obtained from the genetics of the parents. No way, it's coming from someone else."

Zamar stared at the two hairs. Overwhelming, his secretary's words sounded logical. What is wrong with trying, even if it is impossible?

"alright. Do it, as you please." Zamar pulled out her hair. Separately, he gave it to Huan. "I want the results in two days, before their birthday."

"Good, Sir." Huan received it and inserted it in the plastic clip separately.

"I think you have a point" said Zamar, "I met Ansel's doctor on the beach. They have no resemblance at all. I was thinking, maybe they were following her mother's face. But, I'm doubting now, because of what you said."

"Master. Miss used to live on the beach and opened a tavern, which belonged to Dr. Ansel. Then, that bakery, I've investigated it. He said it belonged to Dr. Ansel. Everything, too coincidental."

"You're right. In this world, there are no consecutive coincidences, except fate. I want to know, all about Doctor Ansel, today, Huan."

"Good, Sir. Today, it'll be at the table, you."
