Three days passed, just like that. Maya is healthy and has been allowed to go home. But, which house is he going to? There was no home for him. Maya tidied up her things, thinking where her feet would go.
He can't give up, he's been harder than this before. It just needs to, start over.
Parked, there are already online objects waiting. Motor matic, which can make suitcases and bags in front of the driver. The vehicle drove, towards the boarding houses that had once occupied Maya, at the beginning of college.
In the past, Maya lived in a boarding house, in a narrow alley close to the university. Eventually, Zamar bought her an apartment. Unbeknownst to Zamar, Maya has been paying rent for the boarding, for five years, three years ago. Maya still has a lot of stuff, which she doesn't bring to the apartment, which is why she still pays for it.
Perhaps, there is wisdom, he did that. Now it's back, in its original position. And the burden is slightly reduced. He just needs to find a job, to get on with life.
Arriving there, the atmosphere looked lonely. Perhaps, the cost residents are mostly students are busy on campus. Maya can be more relieved, if they see her back with a lot of stuff, it will certainly be a conversation.
Before, he was nobody. But, when Zamar. held their engagement ceremony grandly, all eyes were on her. On campus, it is much respected. In fact, many girls from the upper class call it Cinderella.
Maya is already in the room. Nothing has changed, as he often comes to clean it up. There's just an extra, little fridge, which he bought a few months ago. Maya arranges the clothes in the closet and changes the bed sheets.
Finished, he sat on a study bench, with his eyes locked on the bed. Zamar used to stay here. The man complains, with Maya's hard mattress. Until finally, replace it with a better one. They're chatting in this place, telling me a lot.
Maya sobs poignantly, with a stifled voice. Now, all that laughter has vanished. He's alone now. Ah, naw. There's a little angel in the womb. The person who will be the new purpose of his life.
Tired of crying, Maya got up by rubbing her wet face. His determination was unanimous, to start from the beginning. This morning, he's going to college and he's going to go shopping later.
Wear an A line skirt and a white shirt, as well as flat shoes. Maya walks to the campus, because of the close distance. It's been three years, and he's back on this road. Not anymore, the luxury car that will drive and pick him up home.
"Oh, isn't this our cinderella! Two days did not go in, it seemed like she was becoming a big miss now."
Maya did not care, she walked straight towards the chair. Meanwhile, the girls who were bothering him tailed behind.
"Your face? Did young master Zamar throw you away? Haha...."
Brown-haired girl, just call her name, Safira. The girl as the leader of the gang is beautiful, always bullying girls like Maya. Poor and become Cinderella, as if to be a sin for them.
"Go!" get rid of Maya, who pulled out her book on the table.
"Oh, yeah. Where's your perian mother? You guys made a pact to skip two days?" ask Sapphira again, who has not run out of materials to disturb Maya.
Deg. Maya immediately looked.
"Sandra, didn't go in two days?"
"What's your mother, not telling you? Oh, hell, what a pity!"
Two days later, Sandra disappeared. But, Huan said he was out of the country, it had been a week. Actually, which is right?
Safira and his gang, disperse, as the lecturer enters the room. Maya sits alone without Sandra, who used to accompany her.
Today, there are only two courses that Maya has to take. Later in the day, he will have to follow the instructions for preparing for a hospital internship, next month.
"Yes, sir."
"Please come with me!"
Maya tidied up her book, then rose up following the steps of her guide.
"Please sit down."
Maya said, in front of him there are three university staff. One of them, is the staff who take care of administration and scholarships.
"What's up, sir?"
"Your scholarship has been revoked. So, starting next semester, you'll have to pay spp, internship, and practice fees" the brown-shirt man said, without further ado.
"What-what?" Maya's eyes are already round. "But why, sir? My grades are still good, nor am I doing anything that breaks the rules."
"Sorry, Son. The foundation that gave the scholarship, has crossed your name. So, we can't do anything."
Maya mute. Where should he take the money, that much? Next semester is just one month away. It was impossible to raise money, in such a short time. He also has to intern next month and practice that requires no small amount of money. Not to mention, the cost of thesis and research.
That very afternoon, Maya went straight home, without stopping by shopping for necessities. He just bought rice packs, on the way.
Quickly, he searched for an account book, which was tucked into a fold of clothing in a closet.
His head was pulsating, looking at the balance in his savings. This is the result of his hard work, during his work three years ago. Maya worked as a cashier at a supermarket, for seven months. Then, the white riding prince approached and gave him a lot of luxury.
While dating Zamar, Maya is not allowed to work. Zamar is meeting all his needs. Impossible, Maya inserts money that is not the result of her work.
"Yes, God. How'this?" Maya could only cry.
Half a semester later, he will become a pharmacy scholar. No way, he stopped now, when his bright future was in sight.
"Mother, how should I? Why is everything so difficult? If he hates me, not wasting me is enough. Why do I still have to destroy my only dream?"
Maya's tears, they're unstoppable. He hugged his knees on the floor. Cry without making a sound, because they do not want to be heard by their boarding neighbors.
He left the orphanage, after graduating from school. Working side by side for his life and for his brothers. A small salary, he must divide two, every month. Luckily, he got a scholarship, so no need to worry about tuition fees. Now, Maya like falling hard on the ground, after being on the clouds, long enough.
That afternoon, Maya spent her time crying. Many regrets, which were ingrained in his mind. Had he never met Zamar, his life would have been fine.
The night is getting late, Maya is still silent in the dark. Only the lights of his neighbor, which illuminated his room from outside. The rice pack he bought this afternoon, still lying on the floor, without him touching.
Maya is confused as to what to do. His future and his dreams, there was no way he would give up. But where should he look for money within a month. His parents, brothers and relatives, he had none. Let alone looking for a loan, just complaining, he does not have.
