Days change days, weeks change weeks, and months change three times. That means that it has been three months Arjuna married to Anyelir. During that time Arjuna never touched Anyelir at all. But the man never neglected his responsibilities as a husband.
The day is already dusk, the once bright sky has now changed color to orange, a sign of the night to come.
The handsome and charismatic man was driving his car through traffic jams that had become a subscription in the hours of returning from work like this. While waiting for the red light to turn into a green light, Arjuna's phone sounded a sign of an incoming call.
The man saw the name Anyelir was contacting him.
"Yes, what's wrong?" ask Arjuna to the point.
"Mas, I'm not going home tonight! I stayed at mom's house. My mom is not healthy. I had permission from Mama Dewi" said Anyelir.
"Yes it's okay! say hello to Mama Mirna!" Arjuna disconnects the call after hearing the yes answer from Carnation.
"Haish, why am I suddenly so lazy to go home?" inner Arjuna is not spirit.
"Or did I take Radit to the cafe only once?" whispered Arjuna to himself.
"God, why am I so forgetful? Radit was again to Singapore, take Aunt Maura to seek treatment, "Arjuna exhaled an annoyed breath.
The sound of a car horn behind him, made Arjuna realize that the red light had turned to green. Arjuna immediately started his car.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Arjuna went into his room, and went straight into the bathroom to clean his body.
After Arjuna finished bathing the man came back out of the bathroom and put on some home clothes. He stretched out his body, looking up at the sky.
He felt the atmosphere of a room that was usually noisy suddenly felt lonely.
"Jun, have dinner first, son!" there was the sound of his mother from outside accompanied by the knock of the door.
Arjuna stood up and stepped out and opened the door.
"I'm not hungry yet, Ma! Mama eat first!" said Arjuna with a faint smile.
"Not yet hungry or unaccustomed to having no Carnations?" goddess Goda, smile wryly.
"Not at all, Ma. I'm not really hungry yet" Arjuna said. "Later if I'm hungry I'll take it myself" he continued.
"I've been married for three months, but there's no sign of Shakila coming back. Didn't she see my wedding news or did she hear but she didn't care? does he really love me no more?" whispered Arjuna to himself.
"But, why do I rarely remember him anymore? why is it that I am so excited to wait for the afternoon, and can't wait to go home? what's the matter exactly?" again Arjuna invites his heart to speak, even though he does not find an answer from the heart.
Long enough Arjuna daydreamed. The atmosphere of the room was so quiet that only the sound of the clock ticking on the wall could be heard.
"It's supposed to be this kind of quiet atmosphere, isn't it what I want? but why does it taste so bad?" Arjuna scratched his head which was not itchy at all.
The man looked at the wall and saw the clock that had shown ten o'clock in the night. The man grabbed his phone to check if any calls or messages were coming in from Carnations.
"What's? he didn't send any messages at all?" Arjuna placed his phone roughly beside him.
Meanwhile, in another place Carnations sat on the porch of his mother's house while staring at the sky.
The sky looks so very beautiful, because it is full of stars that shine like sparkles of diamonds. However, Carnation did not enjoy the beauty of the night at all because her mind was glaring somewhere.
Actually, his mother was not sick, but Carnations made that excuse in order to stay at his mother's house to avoid Arjuna for a while even if only for one night. But strangely he did not feel comfortable at all so he could not sleep at all.
Lately Carnation has not understood at all the feelings he has. He felt his heart always beating fast every time he saw Arjuna's face. She tries to shake off her feelings by stressing to herself that she is only a surrogate woman, but she has absolutely no power to resist Arjuna's charm.
"Anye, why are you daydreaming out here, son? comein! outside a lot of mosquitoes and then you catch a cold," suddenly Mirna the mama was already standing in the doorway.
Adelia turned her head towards her mother, and smilingly looked towards the woman who had given birth to her.
"Before a second, I'm in, Ma. I'm not sleepy at all" said Carnations softly. "Mama herself why come out? Mama just entered, because later became a mother who caught wind," Anyelir stood up and wanted to help his mother to go inside.
"No need, son! Mama's gonna sit down for a second because she wants to ask you something,"
Carnations squinted his forehead, looking at his mother's face that looked serious.
"What do you want to talk to?" eyebrow Carnation linked.
"Mom wants to ask, have you any signs of pregnancy? or are you and Arjuna, delaying having children?"
Carnation gulped down her saliva with difficulty, shocked to hear her mother's question which was almost the same as her in-laws' questions.
