In the morning in sunny Purwokerto with no cloud overcast. I've been in front of the boarding room Budi accompanied by my loyal friend from High School. My loyal friend is called Onel, a black and white mountain bike with bells beside the handlebars. I rang my bell to call Budi.
"Cring..cring". I rang the bicycle bell three times.
"Bud jere rep together (Bud said he wanted to be together)," I shouted.
As per the agreement last night Budi and I will go together to campus.
"Yes yes Lam.. enteni dela (yes yes Lam..wait a moment), he said from inside the room.
"Okkkk..," I shouted back. Because I was tired of waiting for Budi who did not come out, I was playing my bicycle bell while singing a little.
'Kring Kring Kring no bike.....
Hayu Budi has died.....'
'The ring with Onel
Died to spirit'
(It's a weird song, hihihi)
I even laughed myself when I heard my voice.
Suddenly Budi's neighbor came out of his room and heard me singing. Budi's neighbor is a woman older than me. And I happen to know him. She was Mba Dancing my two-year-old high school. And Mba Tari also introduced these costs to me. Mba Tari even laughed hearing me singing.
"Lam... arep died?(Lam....what are you going to do?)," he called out while asking me.
"Yes Mba, Mba too?". Instantly I stopped my strange singing and asked him the same thing.
"Yes, Mba rep died (yes, Kak wants to go to work)," he replied.
"Wait to say Lam?(who is Lam?)," he asked again.
"Kanca ku Mba, (my friend Kak)," I replied.
"Oh, yes wis Mba diitan Lam (oh, yes already Brother Lam first)," he said to me.
"Lam, your voice is funny," led Mba Dance to me and walked away.
I just grinned with embarrassment.
Then Budi came up to me while mocking me too.
"Lam noisy rich boy wae (Lam noisy like a child)," he sneered.
"I'm bosen ngenteni ko, kesuwen Bud (i'm bosen waiting for you, lama Bud)," I replied.
"Yes, I'm sorry" he said, apologizing to me.
"Eh kae saya wong ayu maning anyway?(eh that's who's beautiful again huh?)," he asked because he saw Mba Dance who was walking while wearing her work clothes and hair in one tie.
"Oh Kae, Mba Dari my upperclassman ning High School (oh that, Kak Tari My upperclassman in High School)," I replied telling.
"Oh....," Budi the mangosteen while looking at Mba dance.
"Eh ko deneng numpak pit endi your bike?(uh how do you ride the bike where's your bike?)," she asked me.
"I'm ra duwe Bud motor. Pit wae bump anyway sneak (i don't have Bud's bike. Riding a bike is close by anyway)," I answered who does not have a motorbike. He has a motorcycle, but it belongs to my father.
"Lah long," he protested.
"Yes old suwe, but environmentally friendly," said I who never ride a motorcycle because it is full of pollution.
"Yes well nek nganggo air motor ne dadi reged ra resik (yes also if using the air motor so dirty is not clean)," he said understand my intentions.
"Yes with mudeng (yes it's know)," I said.
"OK, I'm not jimot pit sit ning my room (okah, I want to take a bicycle first in my room)," said the Budi then went into his room to take his bicycle.
"Yes, yes" I told you.
Budi suddenly turned around and asked me about Onel for hearing me sing earlier.
"Et I rep takon Onel say yes?(uh who am I going to ask Onel?)," he asked.
"My pit, (my bicycle)," I replied.
"Pit koh arane Onel ana-ana wae Lam Lam (bicycle coke name Onel there-just Lam Lam)," he turned back and walked towards his room with his head in wonder at every step.
"Wrongly so is arane Onel (wrongly so if his name is Onel)" I thought scratching my head.
"Party yes Bud mbok late maning (buckle yes Bud, afraid late again)," I shouted. I don't want to be late like the first day of OSEK. Yes this is my second day attending OSEK at Jenderal Sudirman University.
Budi and I started riding bikes to college. The distance cost-boring with the campus is quite close to using the motor yes faster but make our earth dirty. Take public transport even faster. But I was forced to ride the angkot to campus yesterday because the Onel my bike has not arrived at my boarding houses.
General Sudirman University as the name implies in front of the entrance of the university there will be a statue of the hero General Sudirman while riding his horse. And in the statue there is the inscription 'Staying Unyielding Unknown Not Surrender' like me who did not give up to be able to learn to study here.
...πͺ΄πͺ΄πͺ΄πͺ΄πͺ΄πͺ΄...
Budi and I arrived at the bicycle parking area, apparently many other students who use bicycles to go to campus. Budi and I are still riding bikes to get there. When it happened to be like me and Budi lined up and were chatting from a bicycle. From the side, two students passed through the parking lot. And as usual I almost hit one of those students.
"Lam beware" he told me.
I looked back at my path and almost my bike grabbed the body of a student who also did not see the road because he was busy looking at the contents of the paper he was carrying. Fortunately, a female friend warned her.
"Awas Kris.
Critittt..... I braked my bike hard, the student was shocked and angry at both of us. I was also relieved that I didn't hit him.
"Huh fortunately ra hit (huh fortunately not hit)," I said relieved because it did not hit him.
"Iya Lam specks maning (iya Lam a little more)," said the Budi who also felt relieved.
"What are my habits?" ask the Budi to me remember because I always hit someone.
"Hehehe," I was just scratching my hair.
"Heh you can take no bike," the student boy scolded me with a horrible look.
"Almost I got hit" he said a little angrily.
"I'm sorry to moan" I said apologizing to her.
"Yes anyway sing was hit by a healthy ra blister (yes anyway who was hit by no papa)," said Budi.
"Heh I am your senior speaking politely," he said rather resentfully telling us that he was a senior here.
I immediately apologized for thinking back to him because he turned out to be our senior.
"Sorry brother sorry I accidentally," I said sorry to return.
"I'm sorry Brother, I don't know" Budi said as well.
"Udah Kris, let's wait for Lecturer Ali to tell the page," defended the beautiful student with a soft voice behind him while inviting him away.
"Yes I forgot" he said.
"Heh you two remember don't be like this anymore. Quickly there to the courtyard," Senior Kaka warned the two of us before leaving and told us to go to the courtyard as well.
"Yes yes, brother" I replied.
"I'm sorry again" I said, apologizing to him.
The two students left us. Budi and I led my bike to the parking lot. While parking the bike Budi spoke to me.
"Heh Lam, why sing karo senior Kaka?(heh Lam, who is the same as Senior Kaka?)," he asked as he guided his bicycle.
"Emang why?" askaku.
"Taste Lam," he replied with a grin.
"Hufh" I let out a long sigh again that word that came out after seeing the beautiful woman.
"Mbuh it's Bud (doesn't know Bud)," I said as if giving up on him.
"Hayu koh cepetan," tell me who has parked the Onel who has been locked anyway.
"Yes yes Lam, I padlock my bike mbok no one's misty because the new bike," he said while showing off.
"Whoa," I said as I rolled my eyeballs.
While walking to the courtyard Budi continued to say things that were not clear to me.
"Heh Lam I could follow up on the school ning campus kiye (heh Lam I am happy to continue school on this campus)," he said.
"Yes Bud Alhamdulillah, school e slick, big broad, majors ne ya slick (iya Bud Alhamdulillah, the school is good, big, broad, the course is good)," my dream while proud of my campus.
"Udu kuwe Lam I mean boy wadon-e ayu ayu ning kene (not that Lam I mean pretty-beautiful girl here)," Budi protested to me.
"Lah kowe, your eyes are chirping nek weruh ayu girl at a dot mripatmu wis ra kedip (you, your eyes are glaring if you have seen a little beautiful girl, your eyes are also not blinking)," I said back to his habits.
"Yes," he said, pretending not to know.
I shook my head because it was weird to have a friend like that.
Budi and I have now gathered in a line like yesterday. And met my other friends. Frank the Clara and the Sinta who came first.
"Hey guys," cried Budi welcoming friends while embracing the Frank.
"Hey! Good morning!," I said hello to my friends as well.
"It's so gaul kowe Bud.. Bud," Sinta said.
"Yes, I would like to be a blogger, yes I should be able to speak slang (yes, I would like to be a vlogger, yes I have to be slang)" he replied.
"Yes, now you wae (yes it is as bad as you)," said the Sinta was forced to agree.
"Kanca ku about saiki ne dawey activities what?((my friends are about now what are our activities?)" ask me on the cement.
"Mbuh I understand (i don't know either)," replied the Sinta.
"Nek ora wrong yes we rep training nandur wit dean, soale miki pas I skipped through the weak backyard ning kana wis dug rich ready nggo nandur (if not wrong we want to plant a tree maybe, if not wrong we want to plant a tree maybe, because it was just past me through the backyard of the rich soil there was already dug up ready for planting)," replied the Clara unsure.
"Ya deleng wae miko (let's see)," said the Frank.
"Heh kae Pak Dosen wis teka line (heh that Mr. Lecturer had come line)," said the Sinta told.
Me and the others were back in line under the scorching morning sun.
Budi and I were a bit surprised to see a senior we met this morning standing next to the lecturer in front.
"Heh Bud kae senior miki pa? (heh Bud, that was the senior, right?)," I asked as I nyenggol his hand stood beside me while my eyes continued to look at the senior Kaka-Kaka earlier.
"Well yes, karo mba sing ayu too (samely beautiful Kaka too)," he replied in surprise after looking ahead.
Mr. Lecturer began his announcement.
"Good morning our freshman students βSoedirman Student Summit 2022β that I love," Mr. Lecturer greeted all new students with a happy atmosphere.
"Good morning sir!" all new students.
Introduce my name Pak Ali, Lecturer of MIPA Faculty at this campus. Greetings know everyone" he said, introducing himself to the new students.
"Greetings to Ali!" we all came back.
"For today's event activity is we will learn how to plant good and true trees. You will be guided and trained by our two seniors who also happen to be the chairman and vice chairman of Nature Lovers SMEs. They are Kaka Kris Mardiana and Kaka Liliana Putri. For that alone a series of activities today Mr. resign and will divert this conversation to our two seniors."
Mr. Ali retreated back to the spot and was replaced by our two seniors. Lecturer Ali had provided information regarding the activities of OSEK today clearly.
"Please Mas Kris and Mba Lili," said Mr. Ali invited them both.
"Okay sir, thank you" the two of them answered.
The two Senior Kaka advanced to the middle to introduce himself.
"Good morning my junior junior," said Kris using speakers.
"Good morning brother!" cried all of us.
"Are you healthy today?" tanya Mba Lili who also uses speakers.
"Healthy Brother," we answered compactly.
In the student line I and Budi whispered to each other
"Bud in the bells they both fit yes sing siji ganteng sing sijine ayu (Bud in the look-look they both fit yes tang one handsome the other beautiful)," I whispered.
"Yes Lam, but Kaka senior sing guy mandan medeni," said Budi while looking at Senior Kaka who was standing in front.
"Here kowe, looks ne is fierce medeni but maybe ati ne meek rich cotton (Only you, it looks very scary but maybe his heart is soft like cotton)," I argued softly.
"Include Brother's name, Kris Mardiana call Kak Kris. Brother is the Chairman of the Community of Nature Lovers or Guardians of the Earth just the same," he said introducing us.
"And I Liliana Putri can be called Kak Lili or Kak Putri and I am the vice chairman of the Nature Lovers Community. I will be with Kak Kris to guide and train you in this activity," he also introduced himself.
"Well we start the event today please you can see your group in the campus group. Thank you," Kak Kris told us to see the division of the group on the Campus Group.
"My sister and I will be waiting for you in the backyard that we have prepared. Thanks," he added.
Me and the others checked the group data on each other's phone.
"We are one group" said Budi Seneng.
"Yes Bud," I replied saying yes after finding out that I was a group with him.
"We are also Lam, "say the Frank, the Clara and the Sinta together.
"Yes Lam" said the Budi.
Then I and the other students and students went to the backyard that referred to the two Senior Kaka.
...π±π±π±π±π±π±...
The Backyard of Campus.
Me and my friends and all the freshmen have arrived in the back yard. In the backyard is quite spacious but it has not been overgrown with trees, therefore the Nature Lovers Community and Plant Lovers Community work together to hold tree planting activities together. Me and my friends have chosen a place to do their job. There are already available tools and materials for planting such as shovels, gloves, watering, seeds, and of course pH meters to measure the soil. And some of the soil that has been dug up.
"Here is what?" my many.
"Yes has Lam (yes may Lam)" replied the Sinta agreeing.
"Eh wis ana kabeh ne equipment (eh already there is all the equipment)," said the Budi surprised to see some planting equipment already there.
"It's complete" said the Frank.
"The quarried wis also lives nandur tok," said the Clara also.
"Yes," my dream.
Suddenly the sound from the speakers came out. It was the voice of Kak Kris and Mba Lili.
"CAUTIONS for New Students. Now we are in the backyard and you have also chosen a place to plant. We have prepared the place according to the quality of the soil and coincidentally the quality of the soil here is quite good. And we've also been digging in the ground a week before the goal was to get rid of the toxins in the ground" Kak Kris told us.
"Ok thank you beautiful sister," said Kris brother while praising mba lili with a smile.
Mba Lili also smiled back at receiving compliments from him.
"We will learn how to plant good and true trees. The tree that we will plant is an ornamental tree to shade the area behind our campus. There also we have prepared the material tools in accordance with the number of your group," he explained.
Me and temen-temen only mangosteen-mangut intent but ora. (Well kepriwe kuweu meane?) half-meaning and half-not that means yes.
"Me and Mba Lili will also join the plant to brief you," said Kak Kris to provide information again.
Where I am.
"Alhamdulillah in warahi (Alhamdulillah taught)," said the frightened Budi.
"Yes leh mbok mengiko even miss piwe, (yes I was afraid wrong later even failed how)," timpal the Sinta told.
"Because (that's what)," the Clara chimed in on Sinta's words.
"Ok just right away we started planting and it just so happened that Senior Kaka was not the two of us who would join the planting. Members of our community also helped.
We all started planting trees in the ground already hollowed out before. We all wear gloves. In front there are also many Senior Kaka who helped plant trees. While we were digging the ground, we had our own commotion.
"Frame worms, right?" ask Clara to make sure there are no worms.
"Why? Scared anyway?" ask Sinta back to her.
"Yes" he replied.
"Frare dean Clar Hayu starts digging (no Clar, let's start digging)," I said so that the Clara was not afraid.
"Yes Lam" he answered.
Fitting Frank again squatting and will start planting in front of him there are worms. Remembering Clara was afraid of worms. Instantly a wicked idea flashed in his head. The Frank secretly picks up the worm with his shovel constantly thrown towards Clara. Hoopla ensues, the Clara screams loudly.
"Ahhhhhh casinggggg," the Clara cried out loud until the people around her looked at her.
"Why are you, Clar?" ask Sinta.
"Lies he said no worm is what, cacyingg," he replied while retreating.
"Kepriwe yah Clar, jenenge weak ya ana worms (how yes Clar, the name is also soil must have worms)," I told.
The Frank laughed out loud at the frightened Clara.
"Awas ko Frank hih throw it away," the Clara began to frown.
"Also leh nek discarded kvo mewere ra healthy, (not later if discarded the soil is not fertile)," he argued.
"Well on," the Clara was still frightened as she moved her body in disgust at the sight of worms writhing on the ground.
"Kiye ana maning Clar (this is another Clar)," the Budi followed by showing one more worm to Clara.
"Ih Bud, just melu-melu (ih Bud, don't follow)," Sinta scolded him.
"Gyeh Clar worm e gede must be fertile weak iki, (this Clar worm is big must be fertile soil)," he said while showing worms that are wriggling on his shovel.
Our group continued to fuss until it was heard to the ears of Kak Kris and Mba Lili.
"Kris in the group what's up there?" tanyakanya.
"Don't know Li try I check yes, you continue on your own first," Kak Kris replied as he stood up.
"Well Kris," he said, nodding.
Kris took off her gloves and walked towards where my friends and I were.
"WHAT'S WRONG INI? WHY ARE YOU GUYS IN A STORM?" ask her by raising her voice.
We all immediately stopped his activities.
"No, this is just Clara scared of worms" I replied.
"You guys, it's just that worms make a big mess bother you to know," he was angry.
"Sorry, how fierce is napa?", the Budi intended to tell Kris to speak softly.
"You said Kaka was fierce," Kris held back her emotions.
"Huh" Kris sighed first before speaking again.
"We're just reprimanding you" he said, which had started slowly.
"For....who are you?" Kris stopped talking and asked Clara because she did not know her name.
"Clara, sister" he answered quickly.
"Yes to Clara you just go ahead and don't scream" he said.
"Yes, I'm sorry, sister" Clara apologized while bowing her body.
"Have you guys continued again don't make any more noise" Kris ended the commotion we made.
"Yes, sister, we apologize once again," I represent her apologies.
Kris came back to the front while we continued to plant the tree again.
"Clar why aren't you a worm?" ask Sinta to be curious.
"Worms are plain, continue uget-uget ning land.hih lah tree I disgust wae lah," he answered while goosebumps himself imagining the shape of the worm's body.
"Oh rich kuwe (oh so)," said the Sinta understood.
"Wis saiki ra do not be afraid of maning, ana I sing will take care of you loro loro kahwe jahil maning (yes now do not be afraid, do not be afraid, there I will take care of you if the two boys are ignorant again)," he added.
"Yes Sin, thank you" said the Clara with a sweet smile.
"Heh Bud, Frank apologizes to Clara," Sinta then yells at Budi and Frank to apologize to Clara.
The two of them immediately receded because they were afraid of Sinta.
"Yes, I'm sorry, Clar" said Frank Nyesel.
"Yes I'm sorry too" said the Budi as well.
"Yes I'm sorry but don't repeat it again" the Clara finally forgave them both.
"Yes, yes" said Budi and the Frank while giving peace sign to him
"That's so bad you two" I said, shaking my head.
"Wis ra papa worm also later melu to Clar's grave (he will not papa later also the worm came to Clar's grave)," persuaded the Sinta so that the Clara did not fear return.
"Yes wis, saiki dilanjut na. Endi ne tree seedlings? Lemae was fit ra kejeron (yes it is, now it continues. Where's the tree seed? The ground is not deep)," tell me.
"Pinter pisan sing gali (a very clever dig)," I murmured.
Previously the soil has been dug according to the size of the root ball.
"It's Lam" the Sinta gave me the tree seedlings.
"Thank you Sin" I said.
I began to put tree seedlings into the hole and given the soil back once in a while I wiped off my sweat.
"Clar, the worm went to the tomb mbok wis melu ning me (Clar, the worm was gone by me)," I told the Clara.
"Yes Lam thank you" he replied, thanking me.
"Well, watering's left" I said a little relieved because it was almost finished
"Frank banyu ne (Frank the water)," I asked.
"It's Lam," the Frank has brought a dipper filled with water.
"Sor aja directly a speck (sor, do not directly a little)," asked me.
"Yes Lam" said the Frank.
The Frank began to pour water little by little on the tree that had been straightened by me before.
"Alhamdulillah wit e wis ngade (Alhamdulillah the tree is standing)," I said relieved.
"Yes live the development," said the Budi.
"Yes" I said again.
"How do you feel?" The voice of Kris from the front used her speaker to ask.
"Sweet, sister" replied the whole new student.
"It's not hard, is it?" he asked again.
"No brother," replied we were all compact.
"Yes, sister" said several other new students.
"Well, Mba Lili will explain about our purpose of planting this tree." Kris has started talking again using his speakers.
"Please Mba Lili," he said, giving a speaker to him.
"Thank you handsome," now it's Mba Lili's turn to praise Kak Kris with a smile.
Kris also replied with a shy smile.
(Lifting the speakers) "Alright, the purpose of this activity is to first give oxygen to breathe. Green leaves on trees that perform photosynthesis will be very beneficial for humans," he explained.
"The second makes the environment more beautiful and fresh. The environment surrounded by trees will feel cool and comfortable to calm the mind. There will be many tiring campus tasks you can relax yourself here later," he said.
Mba Lili explained everything in detail.
"And it can also take care of our mental health plus we can control the temperature. Usually, areas that lack trees will tend to be hotter. Like now, right?" clearly again while asking questions at the end of the sentence.
"Yes, sister" replied some of the new students.
"Your sister" replied several other freshmen.
"But calm if the trees we plant are large this area will not be hot anymore" he explained again.
"Well those are some of the important benefits of we plant trees" said Mba Lili ended his explanation.
"Now you understand, right?" ask him to us.
"Sister!" exclaim us all.
Kris asked speakers to Mba Lili to remember because there is still less according to him.
"Sorry Li there is less" he whispered.
Mba Lili nodded in understanding.
Speakers taken by Kak Kris "Planting trees can also reduce flooding yes," he added.
"Given the hours that have been late in the afternoon we take a break and go home each. Thank you for the time today," said Kak Kris ended the activity today.
Where we are.
"Alhamdulillah wis completed (Alhamdulillah is finished)," said the Budi relieved.
"Yes thanks," chimpal the Clara who felt the fight too.
"Hot e. Turn yuh (solar. Go home)," complained the Frank while wiping his sweat.
"Yes, but it's done na kiye sit (yes, but get this done first)," I said before returning to go home and rest.
Me and the friends have finished cleaning the tree planting tool now it's their turn to go home and rest. Do not leave rubbish before you go home. That's what I do today, planting trees to protect the earth.
Seriate.........πππ
