CHAPTER 5 "SME List"

A week passed now I officially became a student at Unsoed (University General Soedirman). Budi and I always leave together using environmentally friendly bicycles. Now on campus there is an announcement for new students to choose the Student Activity Unit (SME) as they wish. I'm planning on getting into Nature Loving SMEs. I invite friends to register themselves also to the community.

The FMIPA Classroom.

Previously me and the teams had been handed out SME selection form sheets that aimed at students to choose activities according to their interests. But the friends are still confused, I also make them to register with the Nature Lovers SMEs only. The five of us sat in groups facing each other.

"You guys on arep melu what? I confused gyeh. Lam ko melu what?". The Frank was upset because he was confused about what SMEs he was asking me.

"I, I know I want to join the Nature Lovers SME wae. I want to protect the environment" I replied.

"Heh Bud, kanca-kanca melu kiye wae karo me," I suggested while showing a form that read the choice of SMEs and then I invited the ministers to participate in choosing the Nature Lovers SMEs listed there.

"Yes well I love nature too," thought Budi agreed to my proposal which led to misunderstanding.

"Bud kowe seneng karo Alam?" si Sinta was a little surprised to hear the words of the Budi. I don't know what makes Sinta think that strange.

"Hush udu kuwe, dudu universe My kanca. I'm sober yes," argued the Budi who meant by his words that lead to where.

"Somehow is the time you are equated with the brand Boss," his friend complained to Samsul because he did not accept his boss in the same case. Samsul's men used to call himself the Boss.

Meet that rada sapodilla boy named Domu Daevan. He's a Batak boy who goes to school here and Samsul's henchman.

"I don't know how strange it is with his pronunciation" he replied, mocking the Budi.

"Where we go we don't talk to you," Sinta kicked him out.

"Oh so it is," replied the relaxed Samsul.

"Let's unplug," he asked his henchmen.

"Hungry boss, canteen yah," pinta his second stooge.

While the little white boy named Made Aldian came from Bali. He's Samsul's second stooge.

"May I treat you to a full meal in the cafeteria," he agreed and showed off to me and the friends.

"Still the Boss" said Domu and Made compact because happy.

Samsul and his henchmen left the classroom and left me and my friends still there.

"Huh arrogant," said the Clara upset with the behavior of the Samsul earlier.

"What's envy?" ask Frank to her.

"I'll deal with it, too" he bargained.

Si Sinta and Clara just laughed a little laugh at the cowardly nature of the Budi that appeared.

As usual, the person being talked about is always nongol. Oh yes we decided to call Kak Kris now to Bang Kris. He seemed more suitable for her. Bang Kris came with Mba Lili.

"What are you guys doing here?" his voice suddenly shocked the five of us.

"Neither Bang, we are here to submit the SME form. We want to join this Nature Loving SME." I showed her the SME option form.

"Oh you want this SME list. Good," said Mba Lili who understood the intentions of the five of us.

Me and me went inside. Nature Lovers SME Room is very nice and neat. There are several mountain climbing tools, even diving tools.

"Kris, Lili, who is this Taylor?" ask the young man with his distinctive language that is already inside. He asked about us.

"They're our juniors applying to our SMEs" replied Bang Kris.

We smiled, bowing our heads to the young man.

"Sit you!" tell Bang Kris to us. The five of us sat down after being invited.

"Heh my new junior is welcome to join," called a curly-haired woman to us while congratulating him. The woman looked similar to the man next to her.

"Ok brother will introduce you to some of the members here," Bang Kris began to introduce us to the members who were there.

"That was the Madurese whose name was Rafik Hidayatullah he was in the same division as me, the land division" he explained, pointing to the young man.

"Te sa te salam know taye, call me bang Opik taye from the mountain forest division," he said introducing himself with his Madurese accent.

"Hallo Bang Opik," greeted the five of us while waving at him.

"While the two twins there are named Betrus Widiyanto and Betti Widiyanti they are both nicknamed the twins from Flores. They're in the waterway division." Bang Kris continued to introduce the members again. This time he introduced us to two kinky-haired and slightly black-faced twins like Frank.

"And I am Betti, his brother Bang Betrus," continued his brother who introduced himself as well.

"We are from the division of sea swamp and rafting," said they both compact. Bang Betrus and Mba Betti look very compact introducing their divisions to us.

Bang Kris inexplicably looked sharply at the Frank. Like there was jealousy in him.

Suddenly the sound of someone chanting a pantun to us came from the direction of the door.

"Hey Kris they're new students who list our SMEs?" tanyanya direct.

"Yes Doel," immediately Bang Kris's eyes stopped looking at Frank and turned to look at him to answer.

We were all dumbfounded by the melodious chant of her pantun.

"Who is Mba?" I asked Mba Lili out of curiosity.

"Yes, my friend has finished posting SME forms in Mading kawan," replied Kak Doel affected his language.

"Five of you if you want to join here, you have to take the test first," Bang Kris suddenly gave us the conditions and told him to take the entrance test.

"There are 6 divisions here, which division do you want to join?" mba Lili replaced Bang Kris.

"Hi Jack," she replied, raising one hand.

"Amy. you come back," said Mba Lili surprised to see the beautiful boule.

"Yes Lily, who are they?" answer and then ask.

"My junior brother will introduce you to our outsiders here" Mba Lili called out to us with a clap of her hand. Instantly we stopped writing and our eyes went towards him.

"Well, this blonde beauty is Amy Amelia, she just finished her mission overseas" Mba Lili introduced her bully friend happily to us.

"Hi everyone! I'm Amy from the Netherlands," said bule chick to us while introducing herself. Because he is not fluent in Indonesian, he speaks mixed English (English-English).

"Hello Sis Amy!" greet us waving our hands at him.

"Sis Amy see you," said Budi suddenly in English saying see you while winking one eye at him.

Sis Amy just grinned thinly looking at the Budi.

"Have you filled out the form yet?" asked Bang Kris to the five of us.

"Already Bang!" our exciting compact.

Bang Kris looked at our forms one by one. Then split it into Bang Betrus.

"For Nature, Budi and Sinta you come with me and for the test" Bang Kris called the names of the three of us to go with him

"Well Bang," I replied, Budi, and Sinta together.

"When you're Frank and Clara coming with Kaka," continued Bang Betrus telling both of my friends to come with him.

The five of us conducted interview tests separately.

In my interview, Budi and Sinta. The three of us were questioned by Bang Kris, Mba Lili and Bang Opik

"Love because you're a woman here you start first" told Mba Lili. Yes Si Sinta in the first interview by Mba Lili.

"Your sister" replied Sinta agreeing.

"You all gather first" Bang Kris called us and the other members to come.

The five of us are back together. Me and the others are very happy because the five-limbs are acceptable to all of them.

"Sister said congratulations to Nature and others for successfully passing the interview from us. So I announce welcome to join this Nature Lovers SME. Hopefully we can save nature and protect the earth," Bang Kris apparently announced the entry of the five of us into his SMEs at all.

"Kris for a second, by the way, any of you were punished yesterday for shaming the rector's son, huh?" ask Kak Doel who suddenly brought up the matter of my punishment and Budi yesterday.

"Yes, sister, me and Budi but we're both not humiliating him we're just reminding him not to throw garbage in the street and he's punished by the police there" I replied and explained the real incident.

"Oh so, great. You are willing to be punished for defending nature. That's cool," Kak Doel actually praised me and Budi.

"Thank you, Brother Doel," said I and Budi happy to be praised.

Brother Doel just raised his eyebrows towards the two of us.

"Oh yes to Alam, Budi and Sinta you three tomorrow Sunday we try to climb to the mountain together," said Bang Kris invite me, Budi and Sinta to climb together.

"Ready Bang" the three of us answered in agreement.

The five of us are relieved to have passed the entrance interview to Nature Lovers SMEs. And now all five of us officially entered into the SMEs Nature Lovers.

The five of us are already outside and will go to the mosque because it turns out it is already 3 pm. But as we headed to the mosque, we met Samsul and the alley in the parking lot who were smoking instead of going to the mosque.

"Heh Samsung kowe ra denger adzan salat, what kowe Kristen?" rebuke the Budi to him while insinuating.

"Heh Sul beware of sickness," the Clara quipped to him.

"Hush Clar he's sick," Frank's nudge told him in a grim manner.

"Not ah males" he answered.

"Our boss is different religions do not be influenced by us" Made advised his boss.

"Well, let's go" the Samsul threw away his cigarette and left.

"Where are you?" yell Domu at him.

"To the mosque" cried Made as well.

"No, eat hungry" he answered.

"Well boss how you're eating" Domu became confused by his boss's behavior.

"Heh come along" shouted Samsul at the two of them.

"Yes the boss, yes" they replied simultaneously.

The two of them also throw their cigarette nipples into the bushes. Domu and Made run after their boss.
