Our Love Is Not Over

Our Love Is Not Over
The Part 18

On that day, the Edgar family was having dinner with Tamara. As usual Mama Ola always greeted Tamara with joy. Unlike the Oma Deli who looks ordinary but still likes the presence of Tamara.

The dinner went well with discussions that made Tamara even more happy. In two months she will officially become Gautama's mistress. It was truly the thing he had been looking forward to the most all this time.

The two are now sitting on a rattan swing near the pool.

"Do whatever you want. Your dream marriage I'll agree."

Tamara could no longer hide her happiness. He gets a man who is so considerate and understands himself. It's okay Edgar is a widower who's been in a marital relationship with another woman before. The most important thing now is that Edgar will be all his own. Although honestly there was a little bit of worry and doubt in his heart, let alone the age of 6-year marriage Edgar with his ex-wife. There must be a lot of memories they went through together. But Tamara will remain optimistic because she believes Edgar has completely forgotten his ex-wife.

"Do you want nothing for this wedding? Food or souvenir requests?"

Edgar nodded.

"I leave everything to you. Because most couples will often fight when choosing to take care of the wedding. Rather than it happening between us, I would rather just give in and obey your wishes. Because I'm sure your choice won't be wrong either."

"True, my choice will not be wrong. Like when I see you."

Unbeknownst to them, Oma Deli noticed the two behind the window. To be honest he was happy, Edgar was going to marry again, but somehow his heart hesitated. It was like there was something stuck in his heart. There are certain premonitions. However, Oma Deli bears witness to the love Edgar has for Raisa. It is very different from the love Edgar has for Tamara today.

"Hopefully your decision is right, Gar. Oma always wishes you the best."

On that day, Roni was picking up her nephew to their school. But after nearly fifteen minutes of waiting, he had not found his nephew out to the school gate. As a result, he went into the school yard and found his uncle who was fighting with a boy. Even the boy was injured in his knee.

"God! Oh God!" Roni was really surprised.

"Listen yes, we have Papi! Who says we don't have Papi! Our papi works abroad so we rarely meet him!"

"Bas on a liar!" The boy did not believe.

Kia who was getting upset wanted to hit the boy once. But it's been prevented by Roni.

"Kia, stop!"

"Omm Ron?" Kia and Mia get shocked and bow while Roni helps the boy to stand up and ask him how he is doing.

"Are you okay?" ask Roni.

"No papa, Om. Good thing that Om quickly came, otherwise I might have been hit by Kia. He pushed me until my knee was bleeding."

"Duh, Om sorry yes. They don't mean it that way!"

"Om what the hell! Why apologize to him? He's already hurt Mia!"

The boy shook his head. Then Roni took the boy to the security guard to be guarded while waiting for his parents to pick him up.

Now Roni's focus turns to the twins who look so upset. Even they turned their faces away.

"Kimi, try to explain what really happened!"

Both are equally silent.

"If you don't want to tell Om, Om Aduin goes straight to your Mommy. Later Om can't help you if you don't tell."

Finally, Kia began to tell me about the beginning of her fight. All because of that boy who kept mocking Mia for not having Papi. It even made Mia cry because she kept wondering where their papi was.

Roni understood, Kia just wants to protect her twin sister. It's just that Kia's way is wrong. But, to scold him, Roni could not bear to see Mia who had been crying.

"Let's go home first. Help tell this to your Mommy."

"Will Mommy be angry?" mia asked with a trembling voice.

"No, your mother won't be angry. Even if he gets angry, Om will protect and defend you."

When they got to the car, they sat in their own places. Mia sat beside the steering wheel, and Kia was behind.

"Om, why isn't Papi looking for us?"

In this situation, Roni was confused as to what to answer. He must answer if their father does not know their presence. That means, he would make Raisa bad in the eyes of his two children.

"Em, maybe not so. You guys are busy."

"Then, what if Papi wasn't busy, he would meet us?"

Roni was confused again to answer what. He just nodded so Mia wouldn't ask anything more.

In the evening, Kia and Mia are being tried by Raisa. Raisa looks angry and wants to vent her frustration on her children. But he does not want to be violent. She was afraid that what would happen to her children too. All he could do was speak from heart to heart.

"Mommy knows, you love your sister very much. But violence is not the way to protect your sister. There are other ways. Have you apologized to your friend?"

Kia shakes.

"Tomorrow to apologize to him."

"But Mi ...."

"You have Papi. He's just not with us. So don't be sad if mocked or insulted you don't have Papi just because he's never been picked up by her."

After saying that, Raisa went towards her room while Kia and Mia stared at Raisa's departure with sad eyes.

"Mommy's mad at us, huh, Om?"

"Dear, come on, hug me first."

The twins came closer to Roni and cried in Roni's arms. Feeling ignored by her mother makes the twins sad, even when talking to them her mother did not look at her face. The twins knew her mother was angry but did not want to scold them.

It is better to be scolded than to be silenced like this. That's what's on the mind in twins.

As the night progresses and the twins sleep in her room, Roni knocks on Raisa's door. Not locked. So, she just went in to see her brother's state.

"Because of me, because of my upbringing, they grew up to be naughty children even to the point of harming their own friends. What kind of mother am I! Educating children alone is not good."

Roni who heard it all became sad. Wanted to hug her brother, but she wanted to hear even more, the outpouring of her brother's heart that she had never heard before.
