Chapter 18: "Victorian Black Glass"

Victoria finally gets a strange picture book and a guy named Niira. He immediately told the Detectives to find out who this girl named Niira was. He then tore off the right corner of the sheet bearing Niira's name.

It had been three days that they were looking for the ins and outs of the girl named Niira but there was no bright spot. They said there was no sign or trace of anyone else entering this territory, let alone a little girl child. That is very unlikely, he said. So they dare to state that this incident is beyond human reason or Poltergeist. Victoria laughed at the words, she could not accept with her common sense. The Detectives confronted Victoria and stated they could not continue the investigation, as this was beyond their means.

In the night before she fell asleep, Victoria continued to be overshadowed by her sister's smile. He still has not accepted the departure of his sister who is still very much a mystery.

The next day, he still did not give up. He would not be finished before all of that was answered, therefore he told the bodyguards to seek information about Niira by performing a sabimbara. Where, anyone who managed to find the girl will be given a cash prize with a very large nominal. They moved quickly to carry out the order and spread it to local residents and out of the area.

The news reached the ears of Vistor and Miira, they were both astonished at what had happened so the brochure had to be scattered. One of the farmers came to the Villa of Victoria's residence, and said she knew the girl's name.

Hearing that Victoria immediately took the person with her in the car and asked to show her where she lived. On the way Victoria felt familiar with the place she was directed, because as she remembered this was the road to the house of Vistor and his wife.

Victoria got out of the car with six bodyguards behind her, and headed to Vistor's residence. With heavy strides he was forced to tread his feet once again into the slum housing there.

A teenage boy in tattered clothes ran in tatters and shouted to the surrounding residents there were Bule people entering with guards in all black clothes. They hid in the house because they were ashamed and afraid.

Victoria had reached the grounds of Vistor's house, and she told the guards to call her. Two bodyguards stepped into the porch and knocked on the door, before long Vistor came out with Miira who was four months pregnant.

A smiling Vistor greeted his sister Victoria, and asked her what she meant.

As usual Victoria with her scathing words insinuate the life of her brother who is now.

"Look at your situation right now, it's very sad. You don't seem to be part of my family anymore" he said in German.

Vistor, who had grown accustomed to his sister's words, did not know that it was Victoria's true feeling that her heart had died. He also replied with a special smile.

"What's my sister, it's not like you would step foot into a place like this?"

"Take Niira out, I want to talk to her!" he said straight to the point.

Vistor gasped in shock, but he tried to dodge and said there was no Niira here.

"Are you trying to fool me? You don't think I knew from your gut just now. Bring that man here!" he told one of the guards.

Miira is shocked after seeing the person who has leaked the whereabouts of her sister is her own uncle. He apologized to Miira who was crying. Having already been pestered, Vistor came forward to explain.

"How do you know about Niira, why are you looking for her" asked Vistor.

Victoria said that Niira had something to do with the death of her sister Valencia. Hearing that Vistor was astonished and replied it was very unlikely. Vistor said he had never been reunited with his sister Miira, because it was very secretive for their family.

Vistor said she was not here, Niira was always cared for by her birth mother in her house located behind their house. Victoria immediately went back with the bodyguards, to come to him.

Miira cried and the two of them followed her behind. Arriving behind Miira's mother who heard it came out to face her. And said not to allow them to enter the view.

Miira's mother does not know, that in front of her is a lion that can rampage at any time without mercy. He immediately looked into Mother Miira's eyes and immediately pushed her aside so that she could go inside.

There, on the ground floor, there was a girl who was the same age as her sister Valencia. He was lying on a bed with a mat and a blanket.

Her long fine hair, her thin eyebrows, her lips and facial skin with a pale body color, were staring at her with blue eyes.

Victoria is shocked to see the appearance of her body, she who is an expert in the field of genetics knows that Niira is a disabled child. Vistor entered following and he finally saw Miira's sister for the first time.

Vistor tried to talk but Miira came in to answer all their questions.

Miira explained that since birth Niira has been completely paralyzed. He was also unable to speak, his blue eyes and his pale white skin were the reason why they kept it a secret for outsiders. Vistor has explained what Miira told Victoria.

In Victoria's head was like a tangled red thread, it was very unreasonable since it was clearly in the picture book that was named Niira. That must be a big question in his mind.

A memory flashed through his mind, an answer Alm had been searching for. Victoria's father and herself were in sight. Without realizing it, his face made a pretty surprising smile.

Vistor, aware of this, was suspicious of his sister, knowing that Victoria had something she wanted.

"Now you know that Niira is a crippled child. You better get out of here quickly, you're no longer polite to enter people's houses carelessly and make a scene" said Vistor advising him in German.

Victoria's face looked satisfied, and she had already thought of a very mature plan that second as well. But before he came out, he begged Vistor to take the boy to the Hospital to check what Niira was suffering from. Vistor then explained it to Miira's mother, they immediately rejected the request raw.

Victoria tried to persuade them, arguing that she would fight to heal Niira completely. But Miira's mother still refused, she was very grateful for her son's current situation.

Vistor then forced Victoria out by embracing her arm. Victoria threw the arm away while saying.

"I will continue my dream, no matter what!" he said with eyes full of ambition in front of Vistor and his wife.

Vistor could not answer that word. He just fell silent and tried to calm his crying wife. Victoria then left them and got into her car. He then wore sunglasses to cover all the darkness in his heart that was drawn in his eyes.
