Possesssor'S Memory

Possesssor'S Memory
Ch. 11 - Devil Contractor (1)

“Devil! There's a demon contractor here!”

“Vern make contract with devil!”

People who had only seen this as a spectacle now panicked to see that a demonic contractor had lost control here.

At that moment I received a notification from my status window

[You've got a new mission!]

Although I have yet to open my Mission Status yet I can guess what the contents of the mission are.

So without a second thought I took out the sword from my inventory and advanced against the already insane Vern.

“Max, you saw what you did. You insinuate someone so that he loses his consciousness and goes crazy!”

“Hahahaha! Who would have thought this freak was a demon contractor.”

After a little joking with Max, we focused on what was in front of us.

Vern, no, the monster glared at Max and me, Max opened his mouth

“You think we can beat him before help arrives?”

“Maybe yes, may not. Whichever one we will certainly get a lot of credit.”

“Agree.”

“GAAAA!!”

The monster's cry signified the end of our conversation, then he activated a lightning lance magic circle but the difference this time was that the lightning was blood red compared to the previous one was blue.

This spell also had a higher magical density and with a greater number of spears than the previous one.

In an instant, the monster launched its brutal attack towards us.

The attack quickly shot to our place, like lightning hitting the ground.

Not wanting to be a victim of the attack, Max and I hurriedly moved out of our place.

Avoid such attacks with agile and fast movements. However, the attack was still too close, and the fierce explosive sound of lightning lance made the building tremble and rumble.

But luckily, this building had been cast with magic spells on its pillars to make it extra sturdy, so unless all the pillars had been destroyed then the collapse of this building was a futile worry.

“Waduh, if we get hit by the attack, can't it send us directly to the afterlife?”

“Have spoken! Focus on what's ahead!”

The monster recited the lightning lance spell again, but at this moment I tried to approach him so that he could not attack me because he would also be affected by his own magic.

But that's where I was mistaken, I forgot that what I was fighting was a monster that had lost control, not a human named Vern.

Even though I was close to him, he unhesitatingly attacked me using his lightning lance. A blood-red lightning-shaped spear looked exactly in front of me.

When the afterlife seemed to be welcoming me in plain sight, I suddenly moved from the place that was originally in the area of the attack to a safer place.

“Tristan are you okay?”

I then turned to the direction the voice came from, a woman with purple eyes was seen looking at me. That's right, Lilith just saved my life. After calming my mind for a moment, I answered.

“I'm fine, thank you.”

“Yes, equally, however here is very dangerous. So hurry up you guys go and get help while I'm holding the monster here”

Lilith ordered us to leave this battleground, but my answer was of course obvious.

“No, I will also hold this monster here, after all the other students must be calling for help outside.”

“Heh, then you should promise not to be exposed to such an attack, as I will not guarantee to save you a second time”

Along with the end of my conversation with Lilith, we immediately ran towards the monster who was fighting Max.

Lilith launched a shadow attack on the floor and bound the monster, seeing that she had been bound and could not go anywhere, I decided to use the [Water Stream] skill of the second chapter of [Tsunami Blade].

In an instant, I stood up with a sturdy stance of horses, preparing to attack the monster before me.

Taking a deep breath, the beautiful blue water instantly enveloped my sword with dazzling magical power.

With determination emanating from my eyes, I launched a ferocious attack towards the monster.

My sword spun rapidly and cut through the wind with a roar that rang the air, before finally striking my enemy at full force.

The attack was not only one, but was a multi-sided attack like a tsunami wave hit the coast.

Each attack left the monster's body shaken and let out a loud bang.

“AHHHH!!”

That's when Max came to my side and said:

“Nice one, nice one!!”

His body seemed to be engulfed by the fiery flames, then he ran towards Vern and kicked him until he was thrown into a pillar and he quickly jumped on the pillar, it shows amazing agility and speed.

Without hesitation, he launched a series of meteor-like attacks that burned towards Vern who was on the pillar.

Punch after punch was launched at full force, hitting the monster fiercely and making it shaken.

With a series of attacks so fast and dangerous, Max seems to be getting stronger and invincible.

There was no visible gap for the monster to fight back. However, that did not seem to be enough to kill him.

With his right hand raised upward, Max seemed to float and collect and condense the magic in his hand, the fire in his hand seemed to gradually burn.

He held his breath for a moment, as if preparing to deliver a fierce final attack.

With an incredible momentum like an erupting volcano, Max landed his fist on the monster's head.

The sound of a huge explosion rang out filling the air, as if the world was shaking by the force of the attack.

The red jago gallantly enveloped the pillar, showing the immense strength and splendor of the attack.

However, even after the barrage of attacks had ended, the pillar remained standing firmly.

This shows how powerful the spell applied to this building, then dust enveloped Max and the monster. A moment of silence, Lilith asked me.

“Is it over?”

“No.”

“GAAAA!!”

With a loud cry that split through the space, the monster then responded with a fierce force.

It seemed that the battlefield was filled with dazzling red lightning, blocking our eyes.

However, like a leopard, Max nimbly and quickly retreated from in front of the monster and joined me and Lilith on the side.

His face smiled widely, hinting that he was stingy to enjoy this fight.

“Looks like he's tougher than we thought, Hahaha”

Right after Max's speech, Vern was seen throwing his own body enveloped by lightning at us.

With incredible speed he was unable to give us time to dodge, so we were forced to make direct contact with him.

My body, Lilith, and Max were forced to crash due to its extremely powerful momentum.

But with us swiftly improving our posture, the monster and also we looked at each other.

I then decided to try the [Assimilation] skill for the first time, as soon as the tattoo on my arm crept on my skin.

Then the feeling that my speed now felt had increased drastically filled my body.

[AGI : 12.26 >>> 14.55]

[SPD: 10.18 >>> 14.26]

Despite sensing that my mana was draining very quickly. In an instant, I took a quick stance to activate the [Water Stream] skill of the first chapter.

The water started to rapidly spin around my body and with such an agile movement, I slid towards Vern at high speed.

My body was moving so fast that the floor seemed to split open and the wind was blowing hard.

When I arrived in front of Vern, I deftly controlled the tension in the air.

Slashing towards him with all my might, and with a resounding roar, my sword cut through space and struck the target with a slash that was so fast and precise.

However, Vern was a formidable foe. Even after receiving Max's ferocious attack, it was either because he was really tough or he was already too crazy to feel the pain he was suffering from.

The same thing happened to my attack, he didn't just submit to my attack.

He pounced on me with strings of sharp nails, making me pushed back.

Standing up straight, ready to face any attack that was in front of me. raising my hand forward, quickly, the water around my body hardened and formed a shield that protected me from Vern's attack.

With a single movement of his hand, the enemy attack landed heavily on the shield I had made.

Hard contact between the weapon and the shield rang out loud all over the building.

However, I smiled with satisfaction knowing that the shield I made was so formidable, able to withstand Vern's full force attack.

Not long after, the monster was seen starting to cast lightning-element magic spells. My eyes opened wide, looking at the attack that he was about to launch.
