"Why did you move here?" Gigi asked Evan with a look of wonder.
"Why, do you mind?" Evan asks back, lowering the backpack from his shoulder, then throwing it into Bemo's bed.
Bemo spontaneously charged and got out of his bed, then looked at Evan with his eyebrows intertwined. "Sep your bed, same Igun?" the question is joking, but not laughing.
"Children he said come here tomorrow" replied Evan as he unpacked the contents of his backpack. "Lu mo blanks for the closet, huh?" Evan slumps at Bemo while glancing towards the closet.
"Laaah... The new pan tomorrow?" Bemo scratched the back of his head that did not itch, but then rushed to a corner of the room, emptying half of the closet and helping Evan put his things.
"Who are you following?" ask Gigi without getting out of bed.
"You know," replied Evan. "Igun just said there were three people who were overtaken, but you didn't tell me who."
Finished composing Evan's belongings, Bemo closed the closet, then sat on the edge of Gigi's bed, watching Evan strip the shirt and hang it on the hood behind the door.
The clanking of guitars from across their pavilion again distracted Evan, who automatically pulled the boy closer to the window, then peered into Elijah's pavilion.
The tomboy girl was sitting cross-legged on her bed with an acoustic guitar on her lap. The window of his room was wide open.
For a moment, Evan was swept away in a guitar quote that the girl played until she unknowingly froze in front of the window with a glaring gaze across the pavilion, looking at Elijah's face sitting sideways.
The girl's voice caught the attention of everyone in the opposite pavilion.
"Wuihh!" Bemo suddenly commented as he approached Evan. "Who is singing? Bang Wi's son?"
"Dear him" Evan replied as he moved away from the window with a flat expression. Then lie down on the bed that was originally occupied by Bemo.
Bemo looked out the window for a moment, then returned to Gigi's bed.
Gigi only glanced at a glance, then again busy glaring at his cellphone.
Evan leaned against the head of the bed with a glaring gaze to the ceiling of the room— silently listened to the chant Elijah chanted and followed it inwardly.
Elijah was singing a familiar Christian hymn in Evan's ears.
"What a beautiful Name it is. What a beautiful Name it is…"
The song suddenly stops, and the guitar disappears instantly.
Evan knitted his eyebrows and got out of bed.
Gigi and Bemo turned to Evan, then exchanged glances.
Evan returned to the window and peered across the pavilion.
Aunt Aria stood smiling and straddled at the side of Elijah's bed.
Elijah looked up at his aunt's face and gave her a smile. "Je hebt gelijk, aunte—Aunt was right," he whispered softly. "God verspilt nooit iets, zelfs voor kleine dingen—God never wastes every thing, even the little things."
Aunt Aria then sat on the edge of the girl's bed and hugged her.
Evan blinked and cleared his throat, then moved away from the window.
Both of his roommates were still watching him with frowns.
Evan glanced at them, then turned off the lights and threw his body onto the bed on his stomach. He closed his eyes while hugging the pillow that supported his head.
Gigi and Bemo groaned and grumbled.
"Men matiin aje, our wit - we people are still glaring," Bemo said as he fumbled to his bedside to turn on the table lamp.
Night passed…
Early in the morning Elijah had woken up fresh.
The new time showed at half-six less when Elijah walked out of his room wearing a training uniform and sports shoes. Today, he felt quite ready to do the activity.
In the living room, in front of the fireplace, Aunt Aria and Delilah were praying with the head of their family.
He put earphones in both ears, played music on his phone, then slipped the phone in his pants pocket and scattered from the porch.
Seeing Elijah come out with a jogging gear, Innu who at that time was crowding on the coffee table on the porch of the pavilion spontaneously blinked and widened, then got up from the chair, "Joging, yuuuk…" muttering with a grin, his gaze focused on Elijah's back, which automatically attracted the attention of his companions.
Evan took a quick glance at Innu, then followed his direction.
Maha and Igun simultaneously scramble ahead of Innu.
"Wo—woy!" Innu stuttered for a moment, then rushed after them.
Gigi and Bemo groaned and shook their heads.
"Girl's bole bat suit!" grouse Bemo.
Evan again bowed to grab his coffee cup at the table and took a sip. Then came back busy studying the pile of documents on his lap.
Igun, Maha and Innu ran out of the yard while grabbing each other's shoulders, hampering each other, scuttering and complicating steps with each other, scrambling positions in a rough way while grimacing.
Elijah has not realized he is being stalked. The loud music she heard through the earphones left her deaf from the surroundings.
As soon as the three men still scrambling nudged his shoulders unintentionally, Elijah gasped and turned to and fro in confusion.
"Hi!" Innu greeted him as he raised his eyebrows towards Elijah.
Elijah removed the earphones from his ears while stuttering.
"Review copet!" serobot Igun while grabbing Elijah's wrist and pulling him away from Innu.
Maha took advantage of the opportunity to sneak up on Elijah's side.
Attractions also happened again between Innu and Maha.
Elijah gulped and glared at them with round eyes and mouth. "What the hell, on?" hardik Elijah was well aware of the situation. He shook Igun's hand and glared at him as well.
The three guys were just grinning while turning their faces in any direction and scratching the back of their heads that actually did not feel itchy, their movements were almost uniform to the point of seeming like silly looking idiot twins.
Elijah snorted and sped up his run.
The guys flinched and rushed after him.
Along with that, they passed a group of men in sarongs with peci and cocoa clothes who just came out of the mosque.
Those people simultaneously charged from the street while looking towards them in astonishment. There was a murmur among the natives after the four teenagers passed by them while laughing. Some people still watched them as they continued their steps. Some shook their heads while muttering.
"Beautiful! Wait…!" yelled Innu, shameless. "I'm with you…"
Elijah stopped and turned to Innu while glaring. "Once again call the cave beautiful, nadikadek in vain I aing!"
"Well, huh!" Innu stuttered in confusion.
"Mampusses!" Igun cheering and prancing. Satisfied to see his rival lost a landslide.
Maha chuckled while pointing at Innu's face which looked confused.
Elijah continued his steps while pouting.
"Lu the romance is satisfied, Gun?" Innu glared at Igun. "What did he say?"
Elijah said, once again call the cave beautiful, your cave bacok!
But Igun said, "Thank you!"
"It's not like that, Gun?!" innu protest in disbelief.
Glory and Most Woeful.
