The morning sun is still shy to peek at—two gender-different people who were originally timid—from the skyline through the cracks of the hills and oil palm plantations. The cold air mixed with thin fog had not even been completely knocked out, as Evan guided Elijah to the garage.
"From today, you learn to take your own bike," Evan said after taking out Uncle Elijah's motorcycle and heating the engine in the backyard.
Elijah stood in front of the driver's pavilion against the terrace with his hands crossed behind his body, watching Evan who was wriggling around Bang Wi's vehicle to check this and that.
"Still inget right, what is the teaching cave?" Evan lifted his face from behind the cover body and turned to Elijah.
The girl nodded.
Evan straightened his back and circulated a glance around the grounds, then looked back at Elijah. "Lu must learn to adjust the pull of the gas when you release the clutch," Evan reminded.
The girl immediately bowed, pretending to kick a pebble under her feet while nodding to follow Evan's every instruction.
Having that special feeling is really uncomfortable. Facing that special someone in your heart feels as if his gaze can penetrate into your soul and find your soul despicable.
"In theory, you've learned basic driving techniques." Evan continued.
"Hoaaaaahhhmmm." Someone yawned hard in the doorway.
Evan and Elijah turned at the terrace of the pavilion.
Igun stood sloping and cross-sealed leaning one shoulder to the door frame with a tangled face typical of people just waking up.
Evan bought a glance and prepared to continue his explanation.
But Innu and Maha appeared shortly afterwards, joining Igun and crammed in the door with heads peering out-disturbing concentration.
Evan scratched his head with a slightly irritated expression.
Along with that, Aunt Aria appeared carrying a tray full of hot drinks and a plate of boiled tubers that were still steaming.
Evan and Elijah smiled at the woman.
"Goedemorgen-good morning," Aunt Aria whispered to Evan and Elijah among her gentle smiles. Then greet the others in a cheerful voice. "Morning, everyone!"
Evan and Elijah exchanged glances, but then bowed and turned his face in any direction with misbehavior.
"We go on later," they said almost simultaneously, which automatically made the two return misbehavior.
"The cave takes a bath first" Elijah said quickly as he rushed towards his pavilion and did not look back.
Evan blinked and turned towards the girl half stuttered, as if unprepared for her reaction. You could say a little surprised.
But Aunt Aria's glance made Evan spontaneously turn away from the girl and look at her with a clumsy smile.
Aunt Aria returned her smile as it passed from their pavilion.
As soon as she reached the kitchen, Aunt Aria muttered to her husband, "That's why I had a hunch their relationship didn't stop here."
Uncle Elijah spontaneously turned his head and looked up at his wife from the sofa while clutching her coffee cup. "They're who?" He asked with his eyebrows interlocked.
"Lea," Aunt Aria answered briefly, her gaze glaring across the room, looking at the fireplace with a blank look, while she froze near the door by the side of the sofa where her husband was sitting.
Uncle Elijah knitted his brows ever deeper. "Lea, same…?"
"Let's go" Aunt Aria raised her head slightly, like trying to wake herself up. "Maybe Evan," she said hesitantly, then turned to her husband. "What is it like, Papa, Evan?"
Uncle Elijah chuckled thinly, "T o l o l," he replied with a grin.
It was his wife's turn now who knitted the eyebrows.
"Lea's a kid, what do you think?" sergeant uncle Elijah.
"Lea is seventeen years old now" Aunt Aria said. "Deal not even sixteen years, five months, only sixteen."
"Well, don't you think Lea's the same as Delilah, right?" his wife asked back.
The man sighed and shrugged his shoulders at a glance.
"Lea is different from Delilah" continued Aunt Aria. "Lea is growing. Her father sent Leah here to keep her from his friends."
"Good," snorted uncle Elijah. "Papa knows him as well as these son of a bitch" he said.
"It's not Papa's fault" his wife said gently. The woman smiled and crossed the room towards the shelf, put a tray in her hand and put on an apron. "It's no coincidence either."
Uncle Elijah took a sip of his coffee, but did not take his eyes off his wife. I still don't know where the conversation is going.
"Lea was destined to fly free" Aunt Aria continued, then started busy weeding and washing vegetables. "God gave him wings, I hope he understands how to fly." he murmured without looking.
Uncle Elijah frowned again.
Aunt Aria stopped her activities for a moment, then turned to her husband. "One of them will be a blast of wind" he told, then bowed back to his work adding, "Someone, I don't know who, will mess with Lea, unbalancing her for a while, but I'll fly it too."
"Evan?" terka uncle Elijah.
"I'm not so sure either" Aunt Aria said. "But to this extent all I've seen is that kid's got the leader's soul."
"The leader's soul." Bang Wi repeated his wife's words in a mutter.
The two words are indeed quite appropriate to describe the figure of Evan Jeremiah.
"But he's a son of a bitch" said Bang Wi.
"That's why he's so fit to be a leader" his wife smirked.
Bang Wi chuckled thinly and shook his head, then sipped his coffee again.
Half an hour later, Delilah and Elijah join them, helping Aunt Aria prepare breakfast.
Throughout the meal, secretly, Elijah's uncle notices Evan and Elijah.
They both look cute and equally crazy. The two demon children were scrambling for food throughout breakfast.
Uncle Elijah shut his mouth to hide his smile.
Well, compared to the day before, today they look closer. They do not look shy to choose a seat next to each other. More precisely, Evan pulls the bench next to the girl when other bastards prefer to pretend not to see the girl.
The three astral beings who used to bother him looked much more disinclined after seeing Elijah's real face.
Ardian Kusuma even looked a little withdrawn after yesterday's incident.
Martin Hernandez was suddenly attacked by canker sores lamenting many things were not as expected about their activities.
While the syantik man was too busy with the hair of his shampoo advertising girl.
Only Gigi and Bemo have not changed since the beginning. Both of them were polite as guests.
After breakfast, Evan leads Elijah to the circuit.
The place today was filled with local riders who were also training for the event preparation.
Ah, the first day of bringing his own motorcycle, and he already had to learn to avoid unexpected attacks.
Did Evan know today the circuit would be crowded?
Of course he knows. And. because he's a dick, he just took advantage of the opportunity to torture Elijah.
