Re:START/If {Book 1.0}
Chapter 60: Aswad 7 of 15 “Un/To See” (Part 05)

“Like Ancient Demon King, huh?” Odo was a little reluctant to look into his mother's eyes, put on a grim expression and explained, “Mother knows, the form of the Gods is actually like that. Its size was so massive and it exuded an absolute aura, it could change the laws of the world with just its existence.” Seriously Odo looked at the eyes of the blonde woman before him, then squinted adding, “The figure called the Ancient Demon King only imitates the Gods, therefore the form is very disgusting. Cause it's just an imitation of failing.”

Mavis trembled and felt that her son's words seemed to offend her who was an imitation being as well. The woman raised both of her hands from Odo, stepped back and immediately wiped away the tears. Not paying attention to the expression, Odo stared at Fiola who seemed to want to ask. “If anyone wants Fiola to ask, don't be reluctant. As long as I want to answer it,” said the young man.

“Then ...” Fiola stared intently, then in a pressing tone said, “Tell me why Mr Odo can-can-can-get such power? God-like? Does Luke Scientia have a book about that kind of magic?”

“Mbak Fiola knows, I snatched it directly from that Ancient Demon King.” That short answer sounded absurd, either to Fiola or Mavis. Not paying attention to their expressions, the young man again said, “Should Mbak Fiola also be aware, ‘kan? I know how to take away the power of the opponent I have defeated. Whether it was the Black Dragon or the Ancient Demon King, to me it made no difference.”

“Roof ...? “ Fiola stared anxiously after hearing those words.

Odo watched scanning the gathered people, putting on a dark expression and briefly narrowing his eyes. Despite not seeing everything from the start, the young man in black hair clearly understood what made them gather. The furious and dislikeful voice occasionally pierced Odo's ears, some were actually expecting the son of the Luke family to actually die for their sake.

Disregarding them, Odo walked over to Lisia and briefly threw a faint smile. “Indeed ..., if a situation like this is the nature of the original people easily appear to the surface, yes?” he said lightly. Stretching both hands towards the woman with red hair, Odo held both sides of her cheeks and wiped the tears that flowed with his fingers. “Hmm, tears don't suit you. Smile!” said the young man with a smile that seemed empty.

Lisia stopped trembling, but her tears instead flowed profusely. In his mind it was like something was coming out, making his body feel light and without hesitation directly hug Odo. Lalu—

“Odo!! Odo ...! Hicks ... Odo .... I .... Me! Odo ..” With a wail he cried loosely holding the young man's black hair, without being able to express what was in his mind clearly. The relief that came after the fear made his body limp, the sound was getting louder.

Odo hugged back, just silent and at a glance wore a grim expression. What happened now was very far from what the young man had expected, making him a little annoyed that some of his plans would most likely run into obstacles. Without waiting for Lisia to stop crying, Odo let go of his embrace and held both sides of the woman's shoulders with red hair.

“Stop crying, you're the leader of this city, ‘right?”

The young man's words made Lisia flinch, immediately wiping her tears and nodding to strengthen her feelings.  “Alright,” he said softly.

Odo immediately looked towards the gathered people, looked down on them and said, “But I have been desperately fighting against those damn Elves, but you people here blame people who aren't even there. Are you not ashamed? Are you really Felixia?” The young man's cornea turned reddish, an aura of intimidation that was so powerful emanated and made the people before him tremble.

Raising his hand towards the few people from the City Government Party, Odo used the Mana manipulation directly and enveloped his right hand with a deep blue aura. It quickly formed a sword in his grasp, emitting air pressure around him and the red streaks on Odo's body began to appear clearly.

Stepping forward, he mounted the one-handed sword horses to raise his weapon and channeled a countless amount of Mana into his right hand. Dense Mana streams that looked like a bunch of blue ribbons began to appear around the sword eyes, spinning spirally with a bright radiance.

Squinting and about to swing his sword forward, Odo firmly said, “I work hard and risk my life not for cowards like you. Pest like you guys, now ma—!” Fiola held back Odo's hand, before the young man swung his sword and launched a slash that could creep through the air.

Fiola looked angry, clasped tightly to Odo's arm and asked, “What do you want to do, Mr Odo?!”

Looking towards Huli Jing who was holding her hand, Odo briefly sniffed lightly and put on a disdainful expression. Smiling small and removing the aura of intimidation, the young man in black hair said, “You don't see, huh?” The young man removed the Mana-compaction sword, turned it into light particles and re-absorbed it into the body. Forcibly removing the hand from Fiola's grasp, Odo turned his gaze away and immediately took a deep breath.

“You really why?” Fiola slightly worriedly looked at Odo's gurgle, held his right shoulder and forced the young man to face. “The attitude of the Master from earlier is strange, youh! What happened?” ask Huli Jing.

“You know, Ms. Fiola ..” Odo stared intently with his red eyes, then with an elevated volume said, “I'm tired! I have risked my life many times! Throw away the magic circuit I had built up twice to help people! But, what am I even seeing!? Though only a moment ago I was considered dead!”

“Wait a minute, Mr. Odo. Calm down first .... It was my fault for not being able to track your whereabouts with—”

“While it's only been a few hours, they've been looking for people to be scapegoats! I think what I did was free! If you know like this, I will let this city be destroyed by the Elves of Moloia! Right said Mother! It is better for the top to act like the top! No need to get close to the lower caste and act pretentious! Such people are just a bunch of selfish cowards, with dilapidated morals and thinking only of themselves! That's also true you said, Miss Fiola! A—!”

“Odo!!” snapped Fiola.

The voice broke the atmosphere, making the young man with black hair pause for a moment and tightly close his mouth in annoyance. Showing an expression with no remorse at all, Odo turned back to face the people and looked at the one person he saw at the center of the voices of condemnation among them. The young man stared intently at the Deputy Mayor, Wiskel Porka.

It made the old man tremble, step back in the crowd and cold sweat began to pour out. Without saying anything, Odo turned his gaze and immediately walked towards the shop building to enter inside.

“Wait a minute, Mr. Odo .... You want to go—”

“Sleep! You disperse them and just explain as you please! This crowd happened because of you, ‘kan?!” beat the young man in annoyance. While passing by Mavis who stood anxiously looking at her son that angry, Odo briefly muttered, “It is better that I just die and not have to take care of all this ..”

“Ah, definitely Opening shop tomorrow will disperse. Why also create a stir need not be like this? People like to do difficult things. Really, it feels annoying,” the mind of this young man as he walks in, passing through Arca and Elulu by the door.

Fiola could clearly hear what the young man was thinking, making him stare and instantly deduce one thing. “So it was just a lie,” murmured in a slow voice. Immediately staring at Lisia, the Huli Jing understood the reason Odo behaved like that in front of people.

When she realized this, Fiola instantly felt useless and could only be a burden to the young man with black hair. Taking a deep breath, he immediately looked towards everyone and was about to explain the misunderstanding he had made. He did it with regret, only carrying out the task of cleaning up the mess he caused.

A dozen kilometers to the west of Mylta, in a forest of oak trees at the foot of the Luke region Border Mountains. In the darkness of the footpath not too far from the main trade route, two women hobbled through the muddy terrain. The maid dresses they wore added more and more difficult steps, until they had to take off their shoes and tote them.

The two men were Di’in and Ra’an, two people with a fairly high military rank in the kingdom of Moloia. Before Lisiathus Mylta returned to the coastal city, on Odo's orders they took advantage of the commotion to leave the city before it became moons and were blamed only for coming from Moloia.

The two women also carried their rifles on their backs, as well as ammunition and some explosives. On their waists are circular equipment belts with small pocket bags containing military tools, then combat knives and also they wear gloves with a special address on both hands. What the two women lived in the store were just clothes and some broken tools that could not be used.

Up to a point far enough away from the coastal town, the two women came off the trail and entered on the main trade route where the road was not too muddled. Still ganking their shoes and walking barefoot, the two women slightly sighed tiredly.

In the quiet atmosphere in the forest, Ra’an slightly growled and began to look lazy to walk on the muddy ground. “He really predicted it, huh? I never thought such a mess would happen. If we stay there, we can both be dragged and beheaded directly. Is that right, Lieutenant?” the chirps are light to start the conversation.

Di’in gave a small glance towards the woman's short shoulder-length hair next to him, then semarbi put on a pouting face reply, “Before that, isn't it any more absurd that he could turn into a giant skull and stop Parva Nuclear?” The Second Lieutenant slightly looked away, took a deep breath and shook his head. “He even killed Laura and the others very easily,” he continued in a slightly grim tone.

“Aren't they Lieutenant's enemies? No problem, ‘kan?”

The words of Ra’an are true, the Fairy Soldiers are enemies as well as objects of revenge. But in the minds of Di’in, Laura and the Fairy Soldiers were also figures who played a big role in his life. It was they who made themselves Ra’an become what they are today, as a Lieutenant who gained great trust from Rhea.

“Kurasa ..., right you said,” said Di’in in a slightly lethargic tone.

Seeing that expression, Ra’an was confused and felt that he did not understand the relationship between the Lieutenant and the Fairy Soldiers. Choosing not to continue the topic, the blonde woman said, “By the way, Lieutenant. Wearing a dress like this feels troublesome, huh?”

“Hmm?” Di’in glanced at his small colleague, the brown-haired woman with a single pigtail replied, “If we wear military uniforms, it could be when we meet local people we are arrested, you know. This can also be called disguise!”

With a small smile Ra’an replied, “A pair of maids walking in the middle of the forest these nights are also already suspicious, loh.”

“Hee-hmm, true too.”

Seeing the smile that appeared on the Lieutenant, Di’in glance relieved and felt no problem to get into the main topic. Putting on a slightly serious face, the blonde woman said, “The young man has kept his promise and managed to prevent the Fairy Soldiers from starting a war. This may sound strange, but now it is our turn to keep our promises ...”

“Ya ..” Ra’an immediately put on a serious expression, then again confirmed the task given by the individual whom Rhea trusted. “We will now go to the Pando Forest to make contact with The Witch of Orgin who has known the young man. We will stay there until early summer, then return to the coastal city,” Ra’an said with a small smile.

While briefly lifting both shoulders, Di’in added, “Our task is a guarding mission, one of the royal carriages most likely passed around the area. We have to make sure it is safe until the destination, because most likely there will be obstacles.”

A strange feeling filled them, something called pride made the two women step up without hesitation. Unlike the tasks that they often get during their time in the Technology and Military Development Faction that tends to be colored with dirty things, what they were able to this time felt so bright without having to think about the rottenness of the sibling conflict in Moloia.

Want to know why this time the update is late? There are actually several reasons ….

First, shift schedule changes in the real world. This time the update will move between weeks, mondays, or tuesday.

Second, the author's laptop was hit by a massive format virus. You have to reinstall windows. For there are files that survive. If not, maybe this series will drop. Really, it was fortunate that the folder containing the files of the novel survived.

Lastly, CF saturday and last week.

Yes, sorry if it's late. I am also a human who needs a vacation.

Next Monday I will try to update more than five parts, more than 11,000 words.

Well, itung-it's ransom:v

If anyone is still waiting for this series, because I don't know why I'm frustrated.

Not because of the novel, but the conditions in the real world.

See You Next Time!
