Chapter 21: Einerseits Obst 3 of 4 (Part 01)

Slowly opening his eyes heavily, Odo saw a transparent mosquito net of dark purple cloth covering the area. The view faded little by little improved, behind the mosquito net began to look the ceiling of the room decorated with antique chandeliers in which there were crystals of light shining whitish blue. Breathing in and trying to understand the situation, the child wakes up and sits in a straight position on the bed.

The bed that the black haired child was sitting on now looked very majestic and luxurious with a dark red bed sheet that gave off the fragrance of roses. Looking to the right and left, outside the mosquito net that covers the bed looks some furniture such as tables and chairs of shiny wood.

On looking back at the scan, the boy found one exit and a large window covered in red curtains with a black lace patterned on a rose.

Odo could not remember at all why he could be in such a place. Taking a deep breath and trying to rethink what really happened, quickly the memory of the moment before he lost consciousness flashed. The blond woman with red eyes came over and did something to her when she was about to faint.

While continuing to think, the boy opened the mosquito net and got off the bed. Foot barefoot on low-temperature ceramic floor, Odo was immediately surprised because he was not wearing shoes and at the same time he also only realized that the clothes worn now were very different from before. The black-haired child immediately walked towards the dresser in the corner of the room, then glazed on the mirror.

“Eh? What is this ..?”

His figure reflected clearly on the mirror, but with a very unexpected appearance. Now Odo was wearing a tunic, a loose-fitting upper garment that covered his chest, shoulders, and back, as well as having long, loose arms.

Aware of just wearing a top shirt, the black-haired child's face immediately looked panicked and immediately looked for something to cover the bottom. Taking a blanket on the bed, Odo quickly put it on like a sarong for the bottom.

Negative thoughts began to fill his head as he woke up in a foreign place with no subordinates and his clothes had changed. Looking to the right and left, he immediately walked towards the large glass window. In a hurry to open the curtains and look out the window, what was outside the place where he was made the child open his eyes wide with surprise.

Outside the room where he stood, there were growing flowers of spring blooming beautifully, colorful and on it flew a few butterflies that were looking for the essence of flowers. It was a view of a garden that should not exist in winter, at least Odo never saw a flower garden that blooms beautifully in the middle of low temperatures.

“Ah ..., I passed out very long ago? Seriously ..., this ... why if I passed out ...”

With a face of great shock and his mind searching for an answer to the situation quickly, the black-haired child stepped back and sat back on the bed. His face was pale at the thought of the possibilities, anxious about the state of Julia and the others.

Realizing that thinking was not enough because he was lacking information, the boy immediately got up from the bed and walked towards the only door in the place. As he opened the polished wooden door shiny and had the engraving of the flower, it itself opened before Odo touched the metal doorknob.

Stepping a few times back, the black-haired boy's eyes immediately opened wide when he saw the woman he had previously met before fainting some time ago into the room.

Faded blond hair was shiny like polished copper, pale skin that exuded a cold aura, as well as sharp red eyes that exuded an alluring and charming aura. The woman was wearing a red Ruffle, a stacked dress with multiple accents to Victorian-style ankles that looked classic in Odo's eyes. Around the woman's belly was a lacy corset worn outside the dress, tightening the clothes she was wearing and revealing the beautiful curves of her body.

They stared at each other, between blue and red eyes. The silence between them made a strange atmosphere that made Odo feel nostalgic, the black-haired boy felt like something like had happened now had ever happened in his life. An unclear memory prompted him to ask, “Have we ever met?” The woman was surprised the black-haired child asked such a question. Smiling faintly, putting both hands covered in transparent gloves to the front of the lower abdomen, the woman replied in a graceful voice, “We met in the forest, young man.”

That answer did not fully answer Odo's curiosity, but it was indeed a natural answer that came out of the woman. Observing the woman back, the black-haired boy really felt familiar to the woman standing before him. The look in the woman's eyes, manner of speech, expression, and authority felt similar to someone Odo knew.

“Who are you?” asked Odo, looking up a little and looking straight at the woman's eyes.

“Before I answer your question, we better choose the appropriate place first. Seeing you dressed weirdly with a blanket like that, I thought it was unsightly.”

“Eh?”

Odo just recalled that what he was wearing was not appropriate to talk to the woman. The boy's eyes twitched, then he immediately turned around and hid behind the bed with a strange feeling in mind. Odo showed no expression of shame or anything like that, only an unbecoming feeling of self made him hide.

“You know, actually I didn't think you'd wake up after getting hurt and your Magic Core dry.” The woman walked in and stopped in front of the wardrobe that was doing from shiny wood with a flower carving on her door. Opening the closet, he took some clothes from inside.

“Please black shirt and trousers only!” said Odo while jumping into a bed covered with mosquito nets.

Hearing that, the blonde-haired lady turned her head and gave a astonished look with her red eyes. “Ya ..., there are indeed such clothes .... But ..., why should it be?” asked the woman in a graceful voice.

“That's most convenient ...”

Getting the answer, the woman looked back at the open closet and picked up the clothes Odo asked for. Carrying a black shirt and pants with both hands, the woman turned around and walked towards the bed. Opening the mosquito net and sitting on the bed with his back to Odo who was sitting in the middle, the woman placed the clothes the black-haired child asked on the bed on his right side. Odo quickly approached to pick up the clothes, then carried them away to the middle of the bed to put them on immediately.

“You are big yes,” said the woman.

“Eh!?”

Odo was wide-eyed to hear such a remark when he had just taken off the blanket and was about to wear black pants. Automatically his mind immediately leads to indecent things considering his naked lower condition. “A-What?” asked the child with a slight tremble to be sure. Immediately he sped up his movement to put on black pants and sit back on the bed.

“Your Magic Core, your Soul Realm,” replied the woman without looking back.

Odo slightly raised his chin with a flat expression, the boy realized that he had misunderstood the ambiguous words of the woman. The influence of hobbies in his previous life really still poisons the mindset of the child in speculating. Taking a breath and calming down, he immediately let go of the tunic and put on the white shirt.

Back sitting cross-legged on the bed, the black-haired boy looked at the blonde woman and said, “It's done.” The woman turned her head towards him, gave a sharp look and just remained silent without a single word uttered from her charming red-lipped mouth. The two of them stared back at each other in a pseudo silence that was knocked out quickly by a question.

“Who are you?”

Getting such a question back from Odo, the woman smiled faintly with her flat expression. Turning his gaze away from her and getting up from the corner of the bed, the woman walked towards the large curtain-covered window.

“Your question is too broad. Who am I? Honestly myself confused to answer what kind.” The woman turned around and saw Odo who was still sitting on the bed covered with mosquito nets. “If mentioned in the knowledge you have, maybe this me is the Witch, the ancestor of the magic developer in the fairy tale in this area,” he continued while smiling again thinly.

Odo was not surprised to hear that, in the mind of the boy had appeared some possibility that the woman in front of him was the Witch in the fairy tale he had heard. Squinting a little, the boy re-thought something else and put together a speculation to solve the question in his mind.

“This is where? How long have I fainted? Has the year changed?” The three questions represented almost all of Odo's curiosity about his current situation.

“This place is a castle in the Core of Pando Forest, my residence and research place .... If about some time you fainted, why do you think the year has changed?”

Odo pointed towards the window covered in transparent curtains as he said, “Outside it is already spring, flowers are blooming and lots of butterflies.” Having said that, the woman smiled slightly as if she had heard something interesting.

Turning around and opening the curtains, then pushing the window open wide, a warm wind entered the room with a few petals. The curtains and mosquito nets fluttered in the wind, making the visibility out of the child open clearly without any obstructions.

“What is this you mean?” ask Witch while looking at Odo.

“Ya ... end of ... already semi ... out there.”

“He hem, I think not. Take a good look at the corner of the castle page ..., the forest is out there.”

Witch looked back out the room through the window, and so did Odo. Right in the corner of the existing garden, grew some pando trees whose branches and branches are still covered with snow. Odo was confused to see that, tilted his head and slightly breathed heavily. Outside of the castle garden, the forest trees were still completely covered in thick snow piled up.

“Now it is still winter, the year has not changed .... You know, you only fainted one night. It's very surprising you can wake up this fast considering the condition you were in when I brought it here.”

Odo did not worry about what the Witch was worried about about the speed of recovery, but his mind was immediately fixed on the strange thing outside the room. As if the season is divided by an invisible line of illusions, out there it is divided into two clearly visible seasons.

Getting out of bed, the boy walked over to the woman who called herself the Witch. Staring at the approaching black-haired child, the woman gave a thin smile that felt insincere.

“One night ..., am I right I was just unconscious one night?” asked Odo with a straight look. Looking at the figure of the child who seemed to be able to immediately understand what was happening and not mind the different scenery of the season outside, Witch slightly sighed lightly and turned her gaze out the window.

“Indeed ..., just one night. You already know the answer, but you are asking. Really ..., that trait is so ineffective, young man.”

Hearing these words Odo immediately felt deja vu, The way the woman spoke reminded the black-haired boy with Reyah. Returning his steps and standing beside the woman, Odo faced her and gave a dark look with his blue eyes. The woman was jolted to get a look like that, from that Odo knew that the blonde woman was different from Reyah in some aspects of nature.

“Why did you bring me here, Witch?” ask the boy without wasting time.

“To help you, what else was the reason for me bringing a severely injured child to this castle?”

“Hah, help yes .... If you're a Witch, you should know that I won't die just because of that. Even if I was really going to die, he wouldn't let it.”

Witch looked at the boy silently. Facing towards the black-haired child and upholding his body authoritatively, the blonde-haired woman slightly put on a sad face. Odo did not understand the expression the woman was showing. Taking one step back with a distracted look, the black-haired kid slightly gritted his teeth.

“Dia .. yes. Mean you ... The Black Dragon that was inside that small body that had such vast space was?” The blond woman pointed at Odo. Although he looked straight at the black-haired child, but his eyes seemed not to see the child as an individual, his eyes seemed to be looking at an object.

Odo was speechless not to answer, the boy knew immediately that the woman in front of him was very dangerous in another sense. As Odo thought of various things to get away from the place immediately, the woman unwittingly moved quickly and without a sound, he approached and immediately held the head of the child tightly.

The woman was more severe than Reyah or Seliari, her strength was significantly different from the superior beings she had encountered. Aware of this, Odo immediately identified the woman before him as a figure that is very worth watching.

“So yes .... It turns out you can indeed show such an expression .. even though you have not fully awakened. Yeah .., that's okay, too. Let it be like that .... If that power returns to its true form, it will also awaken from its long slumber.”

After saying something more that confused Odo, the woman turned around and walked towards the room door. The first few steps, the window closed by itself and the curtains came close tightly, the mosquito net was quickly arranged neatly by itself with the sheets and blankets on the bed. Odo was surprised to see all that, but his gaze was not the slightest bit diverted from the blond woman.

When she got to the open door, she turned to Odo and said, “Why are you still there? Not that you want to know ... why did I bring a child like you to my castle?” Wearing a slightly dissatisfied expression, Odo decided to walk up to him. Smiling faintly at the sight of the black-guided child's forced face, the Witch walked back and left the room.

Less than two seconds after Odo stepped out of the room, the door closed itself and the sound of a rotating lock sounded. Seeing what was there after stepping his feet out of the room, a magnificent hallway in Victorian style greeted him. Along the hallway there looked more majestic and sparkling when compared to the Mansion where the child lived. Antique lights were hung along the walls of the hallway and on the other side were ornamental glass lined up along the place. When stepping feet, a ceramic floor that feels very smooth is clearly felt by the soles of the child's feet, on the floor there is a unique pattern of red and purple flowers that cross.

With an uneasy feeling, Odo kept walking after the woman in the red dress. Throughout the walk no talk took place, there was only silence between them. There was not a single person in the place, not even animals or insects could Odo feel his tremors inside along the passageway. As the boy looked out the window on his right side, a scene not much different from before was indeed out there.

“What the fuck is this place? Season .... Is there any distortion like the Astral World?”

As Odo focuses on the different scenes of the season outside the building, they unwittingly arrive at the door of a room with a two-leaf model, made of shiny wood on top of which has carved flowers and the alley is made of golden-colored metal. Opening the door wide, the blonde-haired woman walked in first.

Odo was wide-eyed for a moment when he saw how magnificent the room was after the door opened. Inside there is a dining room in the style of a very luxurious western kingdom, has a vaulted ceiling that has naturalist paintings of red flowers on it, and, and in the middle hang a very magnificent chandelier full of glass which is a beautiful accent of luxury that radiates in the room.

A little look down, there is a long shiny wooden table, and on it there is a tablecloth that has a complicated knit of flowers with dark red elements. On the table are also several glass jars containing cookies, as well as several four-branched candlesticks on which are lit candles.

Stepping foot on the ceramic floor that was not much different from the hallway of his ornamental pattern, Odo followed the woman who was walking in front of him. The boy again composes speculation in his mind, about what the woman wants from him and how to get away from the magnificent castle where he stands immediately.

Up in front of the long table in the middle of the room, the woman stopped stepping and began to turn towards Odo. The black-haired child came to a halt, and they stared at each other in silence. No words came out, no sound came out except the soft sound of the candle's wick burning.

Without saying anything, the woman again walked towards Odo. One to three steps the woman was still caught visually by Odo, but at the fourth step she suddenly stood before the boy while putting her hands on his head. This time Odo did not slap the cold hand, he let it go and just raised his head while giving a flat look.

“Actually who are you?” ask Odo.

“I am a Witch, already dir―”

“Who cares about that useless nickname, which I ask is you .... Who are you exactly?”

The woman fell silent with a surprised face, as if not expecting that such a question would continue to be asked by the black-haired child. Raising her right hand from Odo's head, the woman turned and walked towards one of the chairs in front of one side of the rectangular table.

Pulling the chair that had a wool pad wrapped in red cloth, the woman sat down and put her face on the surface of the table while looking at Odo who was still standing with a flat gaze.

“Sit down first, young man. Let's talk .., let's talk and get to know each other first. You don't have to look at me like that, I'm not an enemy ..”

The woman raised her face from the table, then briefly closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Changing the sitting position facing Odo, the woman said, “Young man, you need not fidget like that ..., the people you are worried about are now fine.” Odo was immediately surprised to hear that, the words of the woman before him seemed to be able to read his mind. But within a few seconds, the shock disappeared quickly because it was not strange or foreign to the black-haired child.

Pulling a nearby chair and sitting opposite the blonde-haired woman, they stared at each other on one side of the long table. Slightly inhaling and pulling sharply, Odo rang, “What do you mean? Are Julia and the others okay?”

“Yes, they're fine. At least the people who came to the Pando Forest with you are fine and still gathered ...”

Odo doubted the words, but a calm face hid them from the woman before him. Seeing the blonde woman giving no reaction to what she was thinking, Odo added to speculation that she could not read minds like Reyah.

“His words were just guessing yes ..” thought Odo. A little upholding the sitting position, the child took a deep breath and tried to think about the problem that lay before him.

“Why do you know they're okay?” ask Odo.

“Pando's forest is already like a home page for me, in this entire border forest scattered some pets whose senses they can connect with me.”

Odo was a little distracted by the words, but he tried not to bother about them because there were other things to discuss. Holding his chin with his right hand and slightly turning his gaze away, the boy came back to thinking.

“Alright, I believe. You have no reason to lie. Worse yet ..., I have absolutely no idea what you are.” The child's words and tone did not sound at all like a believer, coupled with a sharp, purposeful gaze added to the more obvious.

“Why do you lie like that? If you don't believe, just say you don't believe. I will not be offended ..., it is only natural that you do not believe in me, young man ...”

“Sorry ..., it seems my words are less clear. I don't mean to believe you, I have no choice but to believe you. You have no motive to lie because you don't have to lie .... This space ..., this building ..., everything is full of magic barriers, ‘kan? How can I get out?”

The woman was silent for a moment, the look in her eyes turned dark as Odo said that. After understanding that deceiving each other does not solve the problem, they both decide not to display artificial nature, and begin to reveal their own true nature.

“When are you aware?”

“Salju ..., here does not go down, and also when warm wind enters the room. The barrier magic usually emits room temperature even in the midst of the cold, one of the Demi-humans I know used it often and I myself was more or less knowledgeable about it.”

“So yes .... It turned out that the knowledge of magic you possessed had already reached that level. If you know it will be like this, you should remove my physical barrier first and replace it with a visual barrier.”

Silently for a moment, the woman placed her right elbow on the table and supported her head with her right hand. Staring at Odo who was in front of him, the red eyes of the woman seemed to smolder about something distorted. Not caring what the figure before him was thinking, the black-haired boy lowered his hand from his chin onto his lap.

“Back to the initial question, who are you?” ask Odo.

“Ikim Witch, suda―”

“Until when will you answer like such a program? Do not dodge, otherwise I will ask the same thing up to thousands of times ...”

The woman was speechless getting the pure gaze of the boy in front of her. In the eyes of the child it does look very innocent and sincere full of curiosity, but therefore there is also an indiscriminate abomination in it.

“You know, young man .... Curiosity is something terrible and one of the sins, because basically curiosity is one of the traits that challenge the belief and belief in the Gods.”

“If curiosity is a sin, then those up there are more sinful than me. They have the knowledge that many people with a thirst for knowledge in this world .., but with their ego, the gods ignore the knowledge-hungry.”

“You equate the Gods with mortal beings?”

“Who said? I uphold them, so I say those above, have knowledge above mortal beings I mean.”

The woman was silent when she heard Odo's words, a face of disbelief until her eyes were wide open. Win and put on a flat face again, the woman put on a smile as if her goal had been achieved.

“It's not wrong of me to bring you here, young man. You are indeed the destined black haired child, the Bearer.”

The look on Odo's face slightly reacted to hearing that, in his mind dozens of estimates flashed and immediately neatly arranged for selection. Taking a deep breath, the boy stared lazily as he asked, “Are you also like Dryad who looks after the Sacred Tree?”

The woman was confused to get the question. “Same with Dryad? Oh ..., you mean Doll who lives in one of Shidratul Muntaha's branches huh?” tanyakanya.

“Hah?” Odo was really surprised to hear that. He did know the name of the tree that the woman before him mentioned, but he did not expect that the name would appear in his life this time.

“Why are you surprised? Ah ..., that name is too foreign? Maybe if I called Yiggdrasill or the Genesis Tree you'd understand?”

All the names refer to one tree, Odo knows it well. But at the same time, all the forecasts in his head collapsed as it was in his speculative factor.

“Who are you really? Why can .... If you know all that .., don't tell me you're this ... Gods?”

“God, yes .... I don't think it's right to call myself that. Right now I'm just a pathetic Witch whose lover left me. You know about my heartbreaking story, don't you?”

Recalling the Witch story that became the local legend of the Kingdom of Felixia, all the pieces of mystery about the identity of the woman sitting before him began to be solved. Witch, the figure who became the progenitor of magic on mainland Michigan.

In the explanation of the fairy tale, it can be very clearly concluded that the figure has existed since time immemorial, it could even be since the Early Doomsday that became the basis for determining the direction of civilization and the form of the world.
