Chapter 12: Demon Lord Vanista

The continent of Algria more precisely outside the Eddgrial Empire began to be shown from a distance there was already movement of the demon army by using combat equipment accompanied by their number that exceeded 30 thousand troops. One of the supervisors on the defense wall of the Eddgrial Empire by using long-range binoculars immediately panicked when he had ascertained the number of demon troops that would reach 40 thousand troops, he went to report all of that to the Dwarven King.

[Eddgrial Palace Room]

"Report, O King Edgar. A demon army of 40 thousand troops wearing war gear has moved towards the territory of the Eddgrial Empire!" he said while looking down right in front of his king

King Edgar had a spooky look, a very thick brown beard, a warrior body shape accompanied by a short body but his whole body looked very sturdy. Hearing the news, he ordered his fighters to take the Eddgrial population to shelters so as not to be affected by the war after which ordered his fighters to prepare for battle.

"The news about the Devil Race who wanted to rule the Great Continent of Renovia by declaring war on every opposing race turned out to be true. 40 thousand demon troops against Dwarf Fighters about 25 thousand looks like we will be overwhelmed then the cutting-edge weapons must be shown to lower their combat resolve but the leader of the demon army is unlikely to attack without a plan, what do they think about declaring war on us?" asked King Edgar while thinking about strategy

[Sound of Foot Steps]

A woman with brown skin, white hair and golden eyes came to King Edgar with a smile. Wearing a white silk cloth so that it displays the shape of a woman's body that is very beautiful to be viewed with her beauty accompanied by exotic skin. He stopped right before King Edgar without giving any respect even staring high at the figure of the leader of the Eddgrial Empire.

"I told you not to get out of your room, Frey!" king Edgar said with an angry expression

"Dad, I heard the sound of armor rubbing against each other to make a sound of determination from the warrior. What was going on outside of the Eddgrial Empire?" asked the Dwarf Princess named Frey with a faint smile while revealing a bit of her teeth

King Edgar stood up from the palace chair while putting on a big angry expression with a high tone, he told his daughter to return to the room. Princess Frey smiled gently at her father until anger turned into affection, he knew that his father actually had a gentle and affectionate nature to his son but it was difficult to show so that only Frey could melt his heart.

Princess Frey left the palace room while heading for her room suddenly came the latest report from the guard of the defensive wall regarding the demon army had already reached the outer area of the Eddgrial Empire. King Edgar rushed to see everything because he was confused by the sudden movement of the demon army until he was still at a long distance.

The war broke out with the Dwarf Race Fighters using various weapons such as spears, arrows, swords, hammers and many more to hold the demon army from reaching the defensive wall. King Edgar knew the flow of war in just a few minutes because the number of demonic troops is so much that his fighters who get an impromptu attack and have not prepared themselves immediately have a bad impact.

"Prepare my combat clothes. I'll go down and hold them all until all the fighters are ready for battle!" king Edgar shouted with a serious expression

The wall supervisor who was with King Edgar did not move according to orders because his gaze focused on seeing the wall tower which was seen by a female figure in combat clothes when King Edgar panicked. Princess Frey held her proud spear with a wide smile and a savage expression, King Edgar yelled to tell his daughter to come down from the tower but she did not listen to him at all.

One of the hereditary traits that King Edgar hates because his nature is in his daughter that likes to fight. Princess Frey saw the Dwarf Race Fighters beginning to be overwhelmed with thousands of demon troops as she mounted the horses by holding the middle of her spear while looking at a gap to launch her attack.

"Litium Spear show your strength!" said Frey while gripping his spear firmly

The spear made from the strongest material, tungsten, is the pride weapon of Princess Frey by utilizing the power of her spear. He let out embers at the end of his spear then threw with all his might at high speed to penetrate the stomach of one of the demon troops to plunge into the ground surface as soon as the embers gathered on the ground surface the cracked one then spewed out hot lava instantly killing thousands of demon troops.

The surface of the ground was boiling due to the lava that made the demon army stop advancing but Princess Frey jumped from the wall tower while landing on the boiling surface of it without being injured at all due to the effect the spear owner could eliminate damage from his own weapon. A princess displayed a ruthless smile that instantly blindly flashed on the battlefield while giving the warrior an opportunity to prepare their battle clothes.

"Dead, dead, dead, dead you all!" frey shouted with attacks from all directions using the Lithium Spear

Throwing, stabbing, swinging and slashing using his spear until the stamina he had reached the limit. Frey jumped away from the demon army to set his stamina instantly he began to think calmly about the number of demons that did not decrease at all when there were so many demon corpses colliding until the fatal weakness of the Dwarf Race finally the devil appears using magic.

[Fire Ball]

The devil wears a ball-shaped fire magic with an unreasonable amount of leads to Frey. Not dodging or feeling afraid of the soul of war, Frey prepared the sacred technique of the Lithium Spear to destroy hundreds of fireballs.

Sacred Weapon Technique: Spear of the End of the World!

[Throwing Spear]

The powerful straight throw caused the Lithium Spear to heat up to blow up hundreds of fireballs that led to Frey in just a blink of an eye and the spear exploded with a huge impact that formed a circle instantly killing 15 thousand demon army. Frey immediately sat down on the ground with his stamina drained to the point that both of his hands trembled to the point of being unable to move but the demon army was still left as it was not strong to fight back, instead, Frey was waiting for what he was waiting for.

[Rune Cannon]

The Rune Cannon was a cannon with attack power using rune stones that the Dwarves created as Advanced Weapons because it could deal high damage impact in the surroundings but could only fire twice after that rune stone must be replaced with a new one. The Dwarf made four with the attack power already charged immediately King Edgar told his fighters to use one of the Rune Cannon to blow up the enemy who was willing to approach Frey.

"Foot!" king Edgar commanded his warriors

[Cannon Shots]

One shot at a safe distance Frey could see the force of the attack so terrible that it killed 5 thousand demon troops then King Edgar ordered three further cannons fired to reduce the number of demon troops to touch the numbers 8 thousand demon armies. King Edgar wanted to eradicate everything with a final shot but two of the cannon shots were stopped by the magic shield with the bad premonition that King Edgar felt finally materialized.

The figure of the female Demon Lord with the magic book began to show herself as the leader of the remaining demon army of 4 thousand troops. She was a witch wrapped in all-black clothes, a body flying without touching the ground and smiling arrogantly while looking down at the Dwarf Race Fighters.

"Experts use black magic. Demon Lord Vanista why is he our opponent!" king Edgar said with a panicked expression

[Opens Magic Book]

"Give up King Edgar. The Demon Race will lead the Great Continent of Renovia therefore hand over the Algria Continent and submit to the Demon Race Master!" said Demon Lord Vanista with both eyes covered in black cloth
