Chapter 9: Ayato Against Elgiona The Elf Swordsman

A place with a large field accompanied by a spectator place at the top gives an impression that the place is a training ground for elf fighters as well as a duel place between elf fighters named Arena Callmendium.

The audience bench was the Elf Emperor, the bodyguard of the Magician Elf Emperor, Princess Eliona as well as the other two elf princesses. King Edward could not watch his best friend's duel because the summoning crystal had already reached its limit so he returned to the original place but before returning, he gave an order to Ayato to win the duel.

Ayato received her orders while unsheathing the sword by putting up preparations to hold a sword that was very different from common knights. The distance was created again due to the thrust of the two swords in the air earlier and Ayato and Elgiona again prepared while moving quickly until their attack became a sword-fighting dance.

Elgiona did not move fast but instead advanced by preparing her attack, Ayato tried her best to look at her direction but Elgiona changed her sword speed until Ayato saw four shadows in different directions at the same speed.

"Acceleration Sword!" elgiona said as she accelerated her body with wind magic

Ayato thought hard in a few seconds but she was unable to pick out the original slash even the four slashes felt real until the wound on Ayato's body made her jump backwards to keep her distance aman but his opponent did not allow Ayato at all to rest so the fight continued by constantly protecting her.

Little by little Ayato was able to understand the shadowy attack that Elgiona swung then the counterattack Ayato did to make Elgiona again cornered until she was surprised to see Ayato's adaptation of the attack pattern so quickly she memorized. The duel they both got so great that it made the audience amazed to see it, Ayato tried desperately to launch a final attack while Elgiona tried to restore her position.

Ayato did not stop by swinging her sword so Elgiona did not have time to return the position. However, there was a mistake that Ayato made because the shoulder of her right hand suddenly shifted back to the starting position because of her powerful swing as soon as Elgiona took advantage of the condition by launching a slash towards Ayato's neck.

"Stop duel!" shouted the Elf Emperor loudly

Ayato did not feel any fear at all even she smiled as she enjoyed her battle duel. Elgiona realized that Ayato's palms showed the extraordinary results of her hard work, and that Ayato's palms were very rough. Elgiona withdrew her remark regarding humiliating Ayato because training was the true form of a knight then Elgiona respected Ayato's struggle to reach this level.

"The weight training you do is amazing. Ayato, I acknowledge you as a True Holy Knight!" elgiona said as she extended her hand

"Ahhh, I failed to carry out the orders of my king but the results were as he wished. Lord Elgiona is amazing, a swordsman according to your strength!" said Ayato while being fascinated with Elgiona

"Haha. Vermilion-sama, an ally with the Human Race is best done!" shouted Elgiona to affirm the agreement regarding the allies
