Chapter 3: Start Adventuring Towards the Treeshe Continent, The Place of the Elf Race

The entire population of the Eleanor Empire began to panic hearing the evacuation bells accompanied by the arrival of the demons who had already started to enter the empire. Their arrival was very fast from Edward's guess whereas Ayato knew it all because Demon Lord Ganeshia used a teleport portal to make the Eleanor Empire unable to prepare in full.

Edward ordered the imperial troops loyal to him with a number of 3 thousand troops while the opponent numbered 8 thousand troops in a distant difference is very visible, but Edward still hopes with the Holy Knights equivalent to 1 thousand troops.

"Ayato immediately plunged into the battlefield!" edward said with a firm tone

When Edward wanted to put on his armor, Ayato suddenly grabbed the right shoulder of her best friend and then pulled it while throwing it into his wife's arms, she was shocked to see what Ayato had done to her.

"What are you doing, Ayato!" edward shouted with an annoyed expression

"Queen Eliote, Princess Reona and my best friend went to that safe place to wait for this to be over!" said Ayato with her back to the king and his queen

"Huh? Whatchu mean?" edward asked with an angry expression

"Edward do you remember my words in the woods?" asked Ayato while releasing her Holy Knight armor

"What do you mean?" edward asked, holding his wife's hands

"Here you go, quickly say it! Did you forget, huh?" yelled Ayato in a high tone

"Tch, you idiot! Where might I forget the words of my best friend who will show how strong he is to be reliable!" edward shouted to reply to Ayato's question

"Queen Eliote take my best friend to that safe place and hand me all this. Edward, it's time I show you so go and wait for the news of my victory!" said Ayato while smiling arrogantly

Queen Eliote immediately pulled her husband's hand to find their son to immediately go to the hiding place that had been planned to protect them. Edward was still worried about his friend's state, he still did not know how strong Ayato was.

Ayato immediately plunged into the battlefield alone without wearing any armor but she had yet to start a war because waiting for the Holy Knights to defect against her king that was cooperating with Demon Lord Ganeshia was like telling the king's whereabouts and the queen of the Eleanor Empire and slaughtered their fellows to see that they really did not care about each other.

"Show status!" ask Ayato to show her status

Seen as the Eleanor Empire's army was fighting against an army of demons that outnumbered them, the loyalty of the troops made Ayato honor their deaths. 3 Minutes passed with the remaining demon army of 5 thousand now entering into the Eleanor Empire then Ayato had to move towards the location of her best friend because Demon Lord Ganeshia was also there.

"Eliote, Reona leave him to me!" edward shouted with a wound to his right hand

The defected Holy Knights numbered five by making two important people for the king as a sign they wanted to ally with Demon Lord Ganeshia. Edward was treated horribly by the five knights even he was thrown into a crowd of demon troops who were preparing to kill Edward and his family.

"Your betrayal is truly terrible, I understand that the Xenonian Continent is hated by other continents!" said Demon Lord Ganeshia while holding his huge axe

"It's better to do this for a living than to be with a foolish king like now he'll be killed by the demon army and the five of us can be allies wasn't that our previous agreement!" said one of the defected Holy Knights

Princess Reona was crying hysterically while tightly hugging her father and mother suddenly Edward was able to stand up while widening his hands to protect his beloved family and he took a deep breath to prepare to call someone he could count on.

"Ayato come and save us!" edward shouted in a high tone

"Hahaha, relying on that weakest Holy Knight won't keep you safe you stupid king now you and your foolish family are headed for death!" said one of the defectors

Edward did not give up on protecting the family by preparing his body to be a shield then one of the demon troops immediately swung his slash to cut Edward's body instantly a slash resulting in the demon army that surrounded Edward and his family directly chopped head.

"Edward you're so cool. Sorry to keep you waiting, my king!" said Ayato while standing in front of Edward while glancing back with a smile

A thousand demon troops were instantly killed with their heads scattered throughout the battlefield as the demons that had already been killed, his body would decompose into black dust. The arrival of Ayato who was able to kill many demon troops in one single hit made the five defectors distrust the immense might of the weakest Holy Knights.

"Edward your best friend is great!" eliote said as she hugged her son

"Mom, dad. Did I see wrong?" tanya Reona stopped crying when she saw the power of Ayato as if she did not believe in her two eyes

"Damn you Ayato you should have shown me this strong!" edward shouted with an annoyed and angry expression

"Hey, I want to look cool at important times but I'm sorry Edward was late. Making your daughter and wife experience something bad for them mentally even my king gets hurt!" said Ayato while holding her sword firmly

The 4 thousand demon troops instantly pulled out their swords to fight Ayato as soon as Edward panicked to see her even Eliote and Reona hugged each other to allay fear. Ayato put up the preparations by holding her sword using her right hand then full concentration could the Demon Lord Ganeshia feel from her which signified that Ayato was not a Holy Knight carelessly

"4 thousand demon troops will not stop me at all!" said Ayato while showing her arrogant smile

Instantly 4 thousand demon troops his head was cut off, his body was split and cut into pieces until the entire corpse of 4 thousand demon troops began to decompose into black dust as Edward, who was unable to do so, Eliote and Reona as well as the defectors were shocked to see the prowess and skill of Ayato wearing her sword.

"It's so amazing!" eliote said with a stunned expression

"Ayato you're really great!" edward said with a dazzling expression

"There's no way it turns out he's been hiding his great power all along!" reona said with a surprised expression

"Damn this guy, you monster!" shouted the five defectors who had directly approached Demon Lord Ganeshia for protection

The Eleanor Empire looked not too destroyed as the entire demon army was already Ayato exterminated after this leaving the Demon Lord Ganeshia who had great power but Ayato was confident enough with her current strength until she advanced forward while declaring the duel to the demon.

The appearance of Demon Lord Ganeshia had two horns curved backwards, two large wings, a whip-like tail and monster-shaped legs as well as holding a large axe which was his weapon.

"Demon Lord Ganeshia keep your promise and protect us!" shouted the five defectors without shame

"Ganeshia, I will not waste time because the king, queen and princess need care therefore I will accelerate to defeat you!" said Ayato while advancing forward fearlessly

"Demon Lord Ganeshia quickly defeated him.." shouted five defectors whose heads instantly disappeared due to the swing of the large axe from Ganeshia.

One of the chief defectors flew over Ayato's leg. Demon Lord Ganeshia advanced forward until the two of them entered into each attack range.

"I'm surprised to see you do that haven't you made a deal with them?" ask Ayato

"I didn't accept the deal at all, they're the ones who made it look like it was accepted!" reply Demon Lord Ganeshia with the expression of a knight

"Advanced Master Word II. Ayato of the Eleanor Empire, Xenonia Continent!" say Ayato with a firm tone

Ayato took out her sword while preparing a sword technique or one of her skills whereas that Demon Lord Ganeshia raised her huge axe using both of her hands.

"Demon Lord Ganeshia of the Helliora Empire, Lamia Continent!" said Demon Lord Ganeshia with a sharp look

Each of them was in a ready position to launch an attack later when Demon Lord Ganeshia started moving his huge axe whose speed force made Ayato see the blade of the axe was above her face.

Ayato's movements back then were terrifying as no one could see her even Demon Lord Ganeshia felt her head being detached from her body was like it was moving slowly to touch the ground so her soul had yet to fully disappearing as he looked at the glances of Ayato's eyes which were extremely sharp with high concentration.

The slow movement instantly disappeared with Ganeshia's head thrown towards Edward then Ayato cleaned her sword from Ganeshia's black blood then stored it back into the sword sheath. Edward was amazed to see the power of Ayato who managed to defeat them all alone instantly made the Eleanor Empire win, for a moment Edward wanted to shout for the victory but Ayato first did so in a high tone that excitedly spread throughout the empire as it managed to achieve his wish.

"Yousshhaaaa!" yelled Ayato excitedly

The entire populace who watched Ayato fight to the point of defeating the Demon Lord instantly received good treatment as well as gratitude from all of them instantly making him the Hero of the Eleanor Empire.

Five days after the invasion of Demon Lord Ganeshia with the Eleanor Empire managed to defeat them as well as defend the empire. Ayato was ordered to come to the throne room again in order to obtain the nickname as the Holy Knight Eleanor who had proven her greatness and loyalty to the king and his queen now the status of the Weakest Holy Knight was completely removed from Ayato.

"Congratulations Ayato for being the Holy Knight Eleanor!" edward said from the bottom of his heart

"I'm sorry Reona never apologized for what she did to you!" eliote said with great regret

"It's okay Queen Eliote as long as she's safe!" reply Ayato while bowing before the king and queen

"Ayato all this is not finished because you have already killed one of the Demon Lord Ganeshia resulting in a massive movement of them. So, I want you to bring the peace proposal to the three continents. Ayato go and make an ally with them because we currently need unity to fight the growing Devil Race!" edward said with a firm tone

Hearing the order, Ayato prepared all the goods and everything she needed to travel to the three continents to form a common ally and break their chains of hatred towards the Xenonian Continent led by the Human Race.

Ayato rode in a horse-drawn carriage to the Treeshe Continent, where the Elves now lived, and she adventured to make the idealism of her king come true.
