“What are you laughing at?” Qin Xia asked when he saw Yu Qi chuckling.
“Oh, it's okay.” Yu Qi shook his head.
“It looks like we've been here a long time. I think I should go back to my hotel.”
“Let me deliver you.” Qin Xia went to settle the bill.
Yu Qi declined her offer to drive her to the hotel but Qin Xia insisted. Yu Qi had no way of resisting him, so, he let her walk along with him.
Arriving at the hotel, Yu Qi said goodbye. Qin Xia nodded as he looked at Yu Qi with a faint smile.
“You are here.” The lecturer said to Yu Qi when he saw Yu Qi coming towards him.
“Why are you here, Mrs Mo?” Yu Qi asked the lecturer.
“We'll call you for dinner. Where do you go now?” Madam Mo asked.
“I just went for a walk and saw an acquaintance. We talk a little.” Yu Qi explained.
“So. So, do you want to go to dinner?” Madam Mo looked at her watch.
“Good.” Yu Qi nodded. Because Aoi begged him to leave. He was hungry even though he had just eaten.
The others are waiting for them. Yu Qi went to Ding Na An.
One of the lecturers knew his way around the city. He recommended a restaurant for them to eat. They made the decision to taste the local food around here. Yu Qi ordered meat for his dog.
“We meet again.” Someone said.
The others on the table looked to the source of the sound. Yu Qi as well. Qin Xia stood up while smilingly staring at Yu Qi. The girls looked at Qin Xia with interest and sparkling eyes.
“Oh, Mr. Qin.” Yu Qi greeted Qin Xia. “Are you also having dinner here?”
“Yes. My client wants me to taste local food, so he brought me here.” Qin Xia made a gesture that showed his client.
“I understand.” Yu Qi smiled.
“Enjoy your food. I'm sorry.” Qin Xia nodded and left while talking to his client.
“You know him?” One of the lecturers asked Yu Qi.
“She was one of my grandfather's acquaintances. So, I know him and I met him tonight.” Yu Qi told them.
“I understand.”
The topic was interrupted when the waiter came and delivered the food.
“Junior Tang, do you have her contact number?” The same third year student, An Shu Lin who was talking to Yu Qi when they checked in this afternoon.
“I don't have his contact number.” said Yu Qi.
“Really? Or are you just lying to us because you don't want me to talk to him?” An Shu Lin asked suspiciously.
“Senior An, if you want his contact number, you can go and ask him yourself.” Yu Qi said and started eating.
An Shu Lin suppressed his anger. He was extremely jealous of this junior. Although he had stumbled into a scandal, but it was not true and the lecturers were satisfied with the achievements of this girl. Not to mention, he was the grandson of a legendary physician.
Dinner was quite a party. The teachers ordered a lot of food. Two of them are male students. So, the others are those girls. The girls ate a little. Only Ding Na An and Yu Qi and the other two boys ate a lot. Usually Yu Qi ate a little, but the food tasted so good that Yu Qi finally did a lot.
“The food is good.” Ding Na An said as she returned to their hotel.
“Ya indeed.” Yu Qi nodded.
“Guk.” Aoi also gave her response regarding the food.
“Oh, Aoi, you also think the same?” Ding Na An looked down.
“Guk.” Aoi barked in response to Ding Na An's question.
“She also likes to eat. She is a gourmet.” Yu Qi laughed.

The conference has begun. There are many individuals, companies, and laboratories involved in this conference. Three teachers also participated in the conference. They want to present their own research.
The lecturers invited students to take a walk around the venue. Ding Na An asked Yu Qi to take a look with her. So they take a walk. Since pets were not allowed at the venue, Yu Qi left Aoi inside her hotel room.
Yu Qi reminded Aoi to stay inside the room and ignore whoever knocked on the room. Aoi nodded in understanding. Yu Qi gave him plenty of food for breakfast. So, he was quite full at the moment. So, he went back to sleep after Yu Qi left the hotel room.
There are many research topics discussed. Stan-stan was established with a poster of research topics. The first booth they visited was about a rare eye disease. Ding Na An was very interested in the topic because she had also written about it.
Yu Qi also ended listening to the presenter. The host explains about the disease and how it is treated. Ding Na An asked the presenter a lot of questions. The presenter was very surprised when Ding Na An first asked him a question. However, as a presenter, she tried her best to answer Ding Na An's question.
When Ding Na An and Yu Qi were about to leave, the host called Ding Na An and asked if she was a medical student. Ding Na An nodded and she said she would become an eye doctor in the future.
The show host nodded. He advised Ding Na An to take a look. There are many research topics about the eyes. Maybe it could add to Ding Na An's knowledge. Ding Na An thanked the host.
“Dear guests, please sit in front of the stage. We as the organizers have invited someone special to give you a lecture. Please.” The host invited guests to sit in the prepared chair in front of the stage.
“Na An, let's go.” You Qi encouraged Ding Na An to sit down.
“Good.” Ding Na An followed Yu Qi.
“I want to know who will go to give a lecture here. She must be famous.”
Yu Qi heard someone speak.
“Of course. Otherwise, the organizer will not invite him.”
Ding Na An bowed. “Who are you thinking?”
Yu Qi shook his head. “Entahlah. Probably a famous doctor from this country.”
The guest filled the chair. The host once again went up to the stage with a smile.
“Thank you for your cooperation. Without waiting for long, we would like to welcome the famous doctor who specializes in traditional and western medical knowledge, Professor Doctor Tang Jiang Man.” The show announced.
Ding Na An and Yu Qi looked at each other. They were obviously surprised by this.
“Yu Qi, you don't know about this?” ask Ding Na An.
“No.” Reply Yu Qi.
“So. All right, let's hear about his lecture.” said Ding Na An.
Grandfather Tang gave a lecture on the role of traditional medicine in primary health care.
“Thank you to the organizers who have invited these parents to this medical conference. In recent times, interest in Traditional/Complete and Alternative (TCAM) medicine is increasing and its relevance to public health in both developed and developing countries.
Diversity, flexibility, easy accessibility, wide and sustainable acceptance in developing countries and increasing popularity in developed countries, relatively low cost, low level of technological input, and, relatively low side effects and increased economic importance are some of the positive features of traditional medicine.
In this context, there is a critical need to mainstream traditional medicine into public health care to achieve the goal of increasing access to health facilities. However, the evidence points to a discrepancy between the private choices made publicly in terms of the integration of different medical systems and the formulation of TCAM policies and their implementation. According to WHO some of the major policy challenges include safety, efficacy, quality and rational use of traditional medicine.”
Grandfather Tang paused for a moment. He adjusted his tone before starting to speak again.
“There is also new knowledge generated in the west and other developed countries with a mixture of ancient and contemporary scientific knowledge such as phytomedicine, health supplements and macrobiotics among many others whose origin is relatively new. There are other therapies such as reiki or shiatsu that date back to the 20th century.
Often some of these are also a blend of one or more older medical knowledge systems. Some consider homeopathic and chiropractic systems not as traditional medical systems as developed in post-18th century Europe after the introduction of modern medicine. Many new forms of TCAM therapy can be grouped in this category. Since some new forms of alternative health knowledge are often guided by modern knowledge, the problems associated with its acceptance may differ.
In infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV, traditional medicine has proven its significance. The global incidence of malaria is about 300 million per year which causes deaths as high as 1.124 million and about 40% of the affected population does not have access to effective modern medicine. The two main drugs used in malaria management such as quinine and artemisinin are derived from traditional medical knowledge in Peru and China respectively.
Traditional medicine is an important source for several potential cures for contemporary applications in a variety of infectious diseases. A recent survey showed that 78% of patients are living with HIV/AIDS in the United States using CAM drugs of a similar pattern has been reported in many other developed and developing countries.
A number of systematic studies on efficacy are slowly emerging that show antiretroviral, immunomodulatory and opportunistic infections reduce the effects of traditional management methods.”
Grandfather Tang conveyed the message of the importance of traditional medicine should not be harbored. Grandfather Tang looked extremely excited as he gave the lecture to the audience.
After 1 hour of speaking, Grandpa Tang finished his lecturer. He was led by residents to go around seeing the booths. The presenters Grandpa Tang visited in their booth were very excited. They wanted Grandpa Tang to comment on their research.
“Yu Qi, don't you want to go and meet your grandfather?” ask Ding Na An.
“Yeah, Grandpa looks busy. I will meet him when he finishes his work.” said Yu Qi.
They looked around the booth. Medical conferences are definitely worth the name. There is a lot of interesting research presented.
“Yu Qi.”
Yu Qi heard his name called. He knew who the owner of this voice was.
“My grandson.” Grandfather Tang showed a childish expression that left everyone dumbfounded when they saw the legendary physician who was highly respected, acting like this.
“Yu Qi dear, why don't you come and greet me?” Grandfather Tang sulked.
“I want to greet you but see you look busy, I hold back.” Yu Qi persuaded Grandpa Tang like a child.
Everyone who witnessed the scene felt like a mother persuading her son and the very old child. Some of them would laugh when they saw this scene.
“Master, this?” One of the organizers asked.
The audience also wanted to know this beautiful girl.
Grandfather Tang then showed a proud face. “This is my grandson. Tang Yu Qi.”
People who knew Grandpa Tang believed that Grandpa Tang did not have a granddaughter. He has only three grandchildren who also work as doctors in the Binhai Nation.
Grandfather Tang knew that he would have this kind of reaction. However, he did not want to explain further about it.
