Chapter 253

To his surprise, the Tang Family received a visit from Mu Li Zei. He suddenly appeared out of nowhere. He asked to speak to Grandpa Tang. Grandfather Tang was not at Tang's main residence but at Shiwa City. 

After receiving a call from Ming Yue, Yu Qi left all her work and returned to Finn City. The Tang Family did not tell Grandfather Tang about this as per Yu Qi's request. 

Ming Yue told Mu Li Zei that her father-in-law was not around. Then, Mu Li Zei asked him to tell her where Grandfather Tang was. Fortunately Ming Yue did not reveal Grandpa Tang's place. 

Mu Li Zei asked Ming Yue to tell Grandfather Tang that she wanted to meet Grandfather Tang and ask for his help. Ming Yue did not have a good impression of this man because her father-in-law told her about him kidnapping her father-in-law and Yu Qi to have her father-in-law take care of her daughter. 

Mingyu simply nodded. He told her that he would deliver the message to his father-in-law.

In the evening, the same day that Mu Li Zei came to the Tang Main House, Yu Qi arrived. He already had his own car because Grandpa Tang insisted on giving him the car. 

Yu Qi met her two aunts.

“She wants to meet Grandpa.” Yu Qi narrowed his eyes as he tapped the table with his finger. “I think his daughter is still not healed.”

Yu Qi snorted while thinking about it. The poison cannot be treated. That's a formula from thousands of years ago. If one wanted to cure it, they needed to do some research on it. It took me a long time to finish the bottle. 

“Don't worry, Aunt Ming Yue. I'll handle it.” Yu Qi gave assurances to Ming Yue.

“I think he will come tomorrow.” said Mingyu. 

The man had already given an attitude that he would definitely meet Grandpa Tang. Yu Qi also thought that he would not leave until he managed to meet Grandpa Tang.

Yu Qi would never allow him to meet his grandfather. He was afraid that he would make a move like he did before. 

That would be too dangerous. He won't let that happen. He will protect the Tang Family. 

Yu Qi called Long Hui and told him that he had already returned to Finn City. Long Hui understood the matter of Yu Qi. He offered to help her if she needed it. She thanked him but he said that he would handle it himself.

The next day, Mu Li Zei was still coming. Yu Qi accepted it. He invited her to the living room. The waiter served them soft drinks. 

“Nona Tang, long time no see.” Mu Li Zei analyzed the girl sitting in front of him. He was impressed with this girl. 

“Master, I know what you want. But my grandfather won't treat your daughter.” Yu Qi stopped Mu Li Zei's approach.

Mu Li Zei's expression changed slightly. ‘This girl really didn't give me any face.’

“Miss Tang, I'm sorry for my rude behavior for the last time we met. But I sincerely ask your grandfather for help. I'll pay well to your grandfather.” Mu Li Zei said in a humble tone. 

“My grandfather is old. We don't want him to be too stressed. You should know that your daughter's illness is strange. Need research.” Yu Qi blocked Mu Li Zei again.

Mu Li Zei's eyes twitched. ‘This girl really does not want to accept my request.’

“However, I am interested in your daughter's illness.” said Yu Qi.

That sentence made Mu Li Zei dumbfounded as he looked at Yu Qi. The girl still wore the same expression when she first sat in front of him just now.

“You?” Mu Li Zei realized that he was staring at Yu Qi speaking.

“Yes. You might not know. I was my grandfather's student. He has taught me everything he knows.” Yu Qi smiled faintly.

Mu Li Zei did not immediately reply. He did investigate the education and background of this girl. He did study medical courses.

“This is one of my research on your daughter's disease.” Yu Qi placed one small bottle on the table.

“This...” Mu Li Zei's eyes opened wide staring at the small bottle.

“This is a prototype remedy for your daughter's disease.” said Yu Qi.

“Prototype?” 

Yu Qi nodded. “I managed to get some samples of your daughter's wounds and did some research on her. But it was just a prototype. I'm not sure if it will work in humans or not. I need some samples to do more research about it.”

“You mean?” Mu Li Zei understood Yu Qi's intent but he still wanted to ask her.

“I want some injuries from your daughter.” said Yu Qi.

Mu Li Zei once again thought hard. This girl meant that she needed to research about her injuries. So he needs his sample. But the wound needs to be taken from his daughter. He was afraid that it would be difficult for him because Mu Rong Xie was extremely agitated if someone approached him. Even when he was sleeping, he would wake up.

“Yes, you can try this remedy on one of his wounds.” Yu Qi pushed the bottle towards Mu Li Zei.

“Is this drug tested?” ask Mu Li Zei.

“It tested on animals that have the same skin type as humans.” Yu Qi lied with his eyes open.

The bottle actually contained an antidote that he had already modified. The effect will make the wound heal, not heal completely. 

“This...” Mu Li Zei is hesitant whether to trust this girl or not. 

“Well, if you don't want it, then it's okay. But please leave. We will never allow you to meet my grandfather.” Yu Qi urged Mu Li Zei.

“OK. I concur. You can get the sample but you have to do it yourself. Others are already afraid of approaching my daughter.” Mu Li Zei finally agreed on that.

“Don't worry, Mr. Mu. I'll try my best to take care of your daughter. Anyway, we are acquaintances.” Yu Qi's lips curved upwards. 

Mu Li Zei felt uneasy when he saw the smile on Yu Qi's face. He didn't know why he felt that way. If he was old, he would not even sit down and talk like this with Yu Qi. Because he had already tried everything and did not succeed at all, so he placed his trust in the young girl in front of him now.

“You can go back first. Remember to apply the medicine around the wound. Just one wound. And let her know her condition after two days.”

Yu Qi just nodded.

“Has she gone?” 

Two aunts living in the park stood up when they saw their niece walking towards them. 

“Auntie, I'm fine. He's not hard on me because he's in our territory.”

“Then, how do you calm it?” said Su Xiao.

“I told him that my Grandpa was old and needed a break. He won't be involved in this anymore.” Yu Qi smiled.

“Did he accept it? He seems hard to convince.” Ask Mingyu.

“Of course. Even so, I stated that it was difficult and told her that I could take care of her daughter.” Yu Qi told the two of them.

“You'll take care of her daughter? Can you do it?” Unlike Su Xiao who did not believe in Yu Qi but sometimes needed confirmation from the mouth of the person himself.

“Aunt Su Xiao, I learned from the best.” Yu Qi raised his face.

“Yes. I forgot about that.” Su Xiao laughed.

“But Yu Qi, if your grandfather heard that you said he was old and needed to rest, I'm sure he'll catch you and make you listen to his lecture about how strong his body is.” Ming Yue also laughed.

“I can imagine it.” Su Xiao continued to laugh.

Not long after, Yu Qi received a call from Mu Li Zei. He told Yu Qi that the medicine was indeed helping to improve Mu Rong Xie's condition. One of the wounds where Mu Li Zei had applied medicine on it looked better than the others. 

Seeing this result made Mu Li Zei believe that Yu Qi might be able to treat her daughter. Yu Qi replied that it would work because it was his research. However, the wound will return to its original state after a week. It had been told to Yu Qi. Mu Li Zei invited Yu Qi to come to Fangghai Country to take care of her daughter.

Yu Qi did not agree to it immediately. He told her that he was a student and was busy with his own business. Her semester break was about to end so, she had to return to her studies. He couldn't just go to Fangghai Nation.

At first, Mu Li Zei wanted to force her but thought she was the one who might be able to take care of her daughter, so she held her back. He told her that he could come whenever he could. 

Mu Li Zei ended the call. 

“How? Is he coming?” Su Yu Qing was also there listening to Mu Li Zei. She was happy that her daughter would eventually recover. 

“No.” Mu Li Zei was not in a good mood so it sounded like he was angry.

“What? She won't come? Wh why? He must come and heal my daughter.” Su Yu Qing became agitated. He started screaming.

“Shut!” Mu Li Zei kicked the table in front of him making Su Yu Qing shut up.

“Dad, why didn't that person come here?” Mu Yian calmly asked his father. 

“She is busy.” Said Mu Li Zei.

“Dad, we can increase the amount of his reward if he thinks it is not enough.” Mu Yian thought that it might be a doctor who demanded a high price for his treatment.

It was because Mu Li Zei did not tell them who that person was. Mu Li Zei told them that he was going to Binhai Country to meet Grandfather Tang. Mu Li Zei had also already told them that Grandfather Tang did not work anymore and would not take care of anyone.

After that Mu Li Zei returned with a bottle. He asked Su Yu Qing to apply it around the wound. At first, nothing changed. The next day, when Su Yu Qing came and saw Mu Rong Xie, she realized that her injuries had changed slightly. He was shocked when he saw the change.

Su Yu Qing quickly called Mu Li Zei and told her about it. Mu Li Zei went to the hospital to visit him. When Mu Li Zei saw that, he was very worried. In his heart, he did not believe that such a young girl could develop something while no expert could do it.

“Dad....” Mu Yian waved her hand in front of Mu Li Zei because her father did not answer her question. His father seemed to be thinking hard.

Mu Li Zei finally responded to Mu Yian by looking at Mu Yian. “What?” 

“I suggest that we can give a high reward to that person if he can treat Rong Xie. Rong Xie has suffered a lot because of this strange disease.” Mu Yian said.

“Yian, the identity of this person is not that simple.” Mu Li Zei sighed.

“Not simple?” Mu Yian was curious about the identity of that person when his father mentioned it like that. 

“Yes. She was Tang Yu Qi.” Mu Li Zei revealed the truth to Mu Yian.

“What? This it?” Mu Yian was stunned to know that.

“How...”.

“She has prevented me from meeting her grandfather. Then he told me that he had done research on Rong Xie's disease and had given me a small bottle.” Mu Yian explained.

“I understand.” Mu Yian nodded a few times. “Then, why couldn't he come here to take care of Rong Xie?” 

“He's busy. He is also a student. She told me that her semester break was coming to an end, she had to go back to her studies.” Said Mu Li Zei. He could not say anything because they were the ones who wanted to ask for his help.

Mu Yian was also speechless. He did not believe that Yu Qi was unwilling to help just because of his studies. It must be something else.
