Chapter 188

Yu Qi quit his job despite an offer from the owner. However, when Yu Qi got home, Madam Wang was furious when she found out that Yu Qi was quitting her job. Madam Wang was furious because she wanted to hit Yu Qi but Mr. Wang held her back.

Mr. Wang said if he hit Yu Qi, he would be injured and need money for treatment. They may have to spend their money. And he won't be out looking for another job.

Yu Qi was very sad when he heard those words. He wondered why he was being treated this way. She's also their daughter. He ran to his old room. 

Next day.

Yu Qi woke up and prepared breakfast for the family. He hoped his father and mother would be happy with it.

“Again, mom, dad. I cook breakfast.” Yu Qi said with a smile.

They just sat down and ate breakfast without giving Yu Qi any response.

“Good morning mom, dad.” Wang Yu Jin greeted his parents and had breakfast.

“Good morning, my dear son.” Madam Wang patted her son's head. 

Wang Yu Jin only glanced at Yu Qi and treated him as an invisible person. 

“Again, everything.” Wang Ha Na appeared. 

“Morning everything.” Wang Fu Ya was also sitting at the table.

Then the table was full. All seats are filled. It was a normal routine for Yu Qi in the morning when he was still living in this old man's house. He's abandoned. 

“Oh, you are also here. Sister.” Wang Fu Ya smiled.

“Huh... He's here because he quit his job. Idiotically. Better you go and find another job.” Madam Wang said in an angry tone.

“What? Why did you quit your job, Oldest Brother? We need money for Ha Na and Yu Jin.” Wang Fu Ya said with a smile.

“Only... I don't like the job.” Yu Qi gave an excuse. He would not tell anyone the reason why he quit the job.

“Sister, you should not choose the job because you are not highly educated. Not like me.” Wang Fu Ya had a proud expression on her face.

“Stool once.” Mr. Wang opened his mouth and said a single sentence.

“I know. Today, I'm going out and looking for another job.” Yu Qi replied and went to the kitchen. 

She spent her breakfast in the kitchen. Sometimes he heard laughter from the dining room. They laugh at each other. They never put it in even a new year's dinner. The kitchen was always where he ate.

Yu Qi went to look for another job. Yu Qi greeted some of the villagers. Then he asked about the job. They were saddened to hear a new hotel had opened in their city. Maybe he can get a job there. He needs to try and check it out. He thanked the villagers for the information.

He walked into the hotel. He could see a hotel. It's not so big but it's good. He walked into the hotel.

“Yes, can I help miss?” The receptionist greeted Yu Qi with a smile.

“Erk... Miss. Actually..” Yu Qi is embarrassed.

“Ya, Ma?” The receptionist still smiled kindly and gently.

“Does this hotel need some workers?” Yu Qi asked in one breath.

“Oh, miss, you want to apply for a job here?” Receptionist asked.

“Iya.” Yu Qi nodded.

“Oke, please wait there. I'll tell HQ management about it.” Said the receptionist while pointing to the lobby waiting there.

“Good.” Yu Qi went to the waiting lobby and sat there.

The receptionist seemed to be calling someone. Probably from HQ management. Not long after, someone in a female office suit came and met Yu Qi.

“Nona, are you here to apply for a job?” The woman asked.

“Iya.” Yu Qi quickly stood up and replied to the woman.

The woman looked at Yu Qi from top to bottom. He scanned Yu Qi from head to foot. Then he nodded a few times.

“Cute with me.” Said the woman.

“Iya.” Yu Qi followed the woman.

They arrived at an office. They entered the room. Inside the room, another woman was sitting on a chair. 

“Mistress, it's good.” The woman who brought Yu Qi here said to another woman. “I'll go first.”

The lady called Madam lifted her face from her paper. Yu Qi had been scanned for the second time.

“Good. Sit here.” Said the woman.

Yu Qi sat in the chair in front of the woman.

“Hai, I'm Hong Wen Yi. You can call me Madam Hong.” The woman introduced herself.

“Halo, Mrs Hong. I am Wang Yu Qi. You can call me Yu Qi.” Yu Qi greeted him respectfully.

“You want to ask for a job here, right?” Hong Wen Yi smiled.

“Iya.” Yu Qi nodded. He desperately needed that job.

“Good. We only accept beautiful girls who work here. You need to change your image if you want to work here. Do you dare?” Hong Wen Yi challenged Yu Qi.

“Good. I like quick decisions. We will train you for six months. In six months, you will learn all about the hotel. During that training, we might send you to a different position. To see what position you want. really good.” Hong Wen Yi explained.

“So, you may have to stay in our dorm room during the training period.” Hong Wen Yi continued.

“Hmm... May I ask you something?” Yu Qi asked Hong Wen Yi.

“Yes. You may.” Hong Wen Yi gave permission.

“Do I get a salary in training?” Yu Qi was embarrassed to ask that question but he needed to ask because it was important to him.

“Yes. Youknew. May I ask why?” Hong Wen Yi replied to the question.

“I have a brother who is still in college and school. So, that's why.” Yu Qi explained.

“What about your parents? Did they already..” Hong Wen Yi did not finish her sentence.

“No... No... No.. They are still alive but the money is still not enough.” Yu Qi looked down.

Hong Wen Yi smiled. ‘So, he sacrificed himself to help his family.’ He was already starting to like the girl in front of him. 

“It's a contract for a novice worker. Read up. For salary, it is already in the contract. However, after two months of training, we will put you in a position that you are good at and the salary will be different. And don't worry. His salary will not be lower than his starting salary.” Hong Wen Yi explained further while placing the contract in front of Yu Qi.

Yu Qi read the entire contract. The contract is simple. Everything Hong Wen Yi said just now was stated in the contract very clearly.

“I agree.” Yu Qi said to Hong Wen Yi after finishing reading the contract.

“Good. Sign here.” said Hong Wen Yi.

Yu Qi without hesitation signed the documents. Hong Wen Yi gave one copy of the document Yu Qi had just signed and another one would be in his hands. 

“Okay, Yu Qi. See you tomorrow. You will enter the dorm room from tomorrow.” Hong Wen Yi stood up and extended her hand to shake hands with Yu Qi. 

Yu Qi shook Hong Wen Yi's hand and repeatedly thanked Hong Wen Yi for giving the opportunity to work here. 

Yu Qi went back to the Wang House and told them about it. However, he was judged stupid for signing such a contract.

“You should ask for a higher salary.” Madam Wang asked.

Mr. Wang just sat there and let his wife handle it.

“Go back and ask for a higher salary otherwise you will not work with them.” Madam Wang slammed the table.

“But, I've signed a contract. If I break the contract, I will have to pay a thousand RMB to them.” Yu Qi said.

“Goblok block!” Madam Wang shouted at Yu Qi.

Yu Qi just looked down. 

Mr. Wang calmed his wife. 

“Quiet, Shi Xen. We don't have much money to pay for breaching the contract. I suggest Yu Qi should go and work there. All your pay will be borne by your mother.” The last sentence was for Yu Qi.

“Iya.” Yu Qi nodded. It's always like that. He won't hold the money. Madam Wang will hold him.

“Now, get out of my sight. Stupid girl.” Madam Wang shouted again at Yu Qi.

Not wanting to make her mother angry anymore, Yu Qi quickly disappeared from her mother's sight.

“Let him work there first. I will ask him to stop when the time comes.” said Mr. Wang.

“Stupid girl. It makes me angry half to death. Whose son is he? Huh!” Madam Wang was furious.

“Shh!!! Don't talk too loud. He might hear it. What happens if he runs away after knowing that? Who will get extra money for our family?” Mr. Wang shut his wife's mouth.

“Sorry.” said Mrs Wang. However, still, he was angry with that little.

Yu Qi left the house with his small bag. He didn't bring much. Just her clothes and something she might need when she lives in the dorm. 

When he entered the hotel, he met the receptionist again. He knew his name, So Lan. So Lan already knew that other new workers would join them today. He greeted Yu Qi with a smile.

“Wait a minute. I'll call Sister Fan to take you to the hostel.” So said Lan.

“Good.” Yu Qi nodded.

Not long after, the woman So Lan called Sister Fan came over. Apparently, So Lan and her were siblings. Sister Fan or her real name So Fan brought Yu Qi to the dormitory. 

“This is our dorm. You will share with others. However, for now, you can have a room for yourself because you still do not have a roommate. This is your room. You can unpack your bag and settle down. After an hour, wear the uniform in the closet and meet me at the entrance.” So Fan left after giving Yu Qi some instructions. 

Yu Qi entered the room. The room was very nice. It has two beds, two tables and two small tables. It also has a bathroom in the room. The room was much better than his room at Wang's house and his previous workplace. 

Yu Qi unpacked his bag and placed his clothes in the closet and his belongings on the table. The room had been cleaned so he didn't have to clean it anymore. Since he still had time before going to So Fan, he lay down on the bed. The mattress is so soft. He never used this type of bed. 

At the Wang House, he only used a towel to sleep. He did ask Lady Wang. But what he got was his tirade.
