Yu Qi stood up after a while and changed into his uniform. As So Fan requested, he went to the entrance and waited for So Fan at the entrance. Five minutes later, So Fan appeared with a smile. 

“Let's go, then.” So said Fan.

Yu Qi followed So Fan. So Fan walked over while explaining all the places. Yu Qi needed to remember because he might be appointed to do work in certain places. Yu Qi nodded. He noted So Fan's explanation.

Two hours walk, lunch time arrived. So Fan took Yu Qi to the worker's canteen. Workers must follow their shifts to eat. 

So Fan told Yu Qi that they should eat first. They will continue after lunch. They eat together.

“So, how old are you, Yu Qi?” So Fan asked.

“My age 19 years.” Answer Yuqi.

“Oh, you are young. I think you are 20 years old and above. So, you're not continuing your studies?” So Fan casually asked.

Yu Qi was silent for a moment. It's not that he doesn't want to learn more but he can't. The result was stolen by Wang Fu Ya. Since Wang Fu Ya was his little sister, he thought he could sacrifice himself for his little sister. 

When she told her mother that she wanted to repeat the test to apply to the University, her mother scolded her for being unreasonable. His mother said he should work instead of thinking about repeating the exam. He needs to help the family. 

“Yu Qi... Yu Qi...” So Fan called Yu Qi because he did not get an answer from Yu Qi.

“Oh, sorry. I was just thinking about something. Actually, my family has financial problems. So, I need to help them as I have grown up” Yu Qi gives the answer to So Fan question below.

“Oh forgive me.” So Fan quickly apologized thinking about her rude question. Usually, families in a remote city like this have the same financial problems.

“No problem.” Yu Qi shook his head while smiling lightly.

So Fan did ask a lot of questions about Yu Qi because it was better to ask herself than to hear from someone.

After they finished lunch, they continued what they had done before. So Fan explained about the hotel to Yu Qi all day.

“OK. We're done today. Tomorrow you will be assigned to a certain job. Finish the job well. I'll keep an eye on you. You can go to your room to rest. See you tomorrow. Oh before I forget, dinner's at seven. You can go to the cafeteria where we had lunch earlier for dinner. Okay, see you.” So Fan left. 

Yu Qi bowed. “Thank you for today.” 

So Fan heard those words and waved his hand without looking back. 

Yu Qi walked to his room. He took a shower and lay down on his bed. He wanted to skip dinner because he was not hungry and was lazy to go to the cafeteria.

Nearly six months passed. Yu Qi was still working at the hotel. Yu Qi worked in many positions. Gardener, waiter, housekeeping service, laundry maid, as well as receptionist. He really gained a lot of knowledge from the position he was working on.

One day, Yu Qi had been summoned by Hong Wen Yi herself. The six-month period is over. It was possible that Yu Qi would obtain a permanent position.

“Sit, Yu Qi.” Hong Wen Yi welcomed the girl.

Hong Wen Yi was very impressed with the girl. Hearing So Fan's view of this girl, it was very good. He is kind, helps others and most importantly to smile and stay calm.

However, he was a little embarrassed in front of the customers. Hong Wen Yi had already thought about which position she should place on the girl. 

“Yu Qi, the reason why you were called here is I want to tell you your permanent position in this hotel.” Hong Wen Yi said.

“Really, Mrs Hong?” Yu Qi did not even hide the excitement he felt.

“Ya of course.” Hong Wen Yi nodded.

“I assign you to be a receptionist.” Hong Wen Yi announced.

Yu Qi was surprised. “But Mrs Hong, the position belongs to Sister Lan and Sister Qun.” The receptionist position is usually for two people. They will take turns who will work at night, who will work during the day.

If Yu Qi was assigned there, it meant that one of them would leave his position. He did not want to take the resources of others.

“Oh, you don't know right? Qun was about to get married, so he asked to leave the job. He also recommends you to take his own position.” Hong Wen Yi told Yu Qi.

“Oh, Sister Qun is getting married. Very pleasant.” Yu Qi was happy for his co-worker. 

“So, the receptionist position is yours. You will be a partner of So Lan.” Hong Wen Yi stood up, took the flop and took out some papers from him. 

He then placed the paper on the table. The cover reads ‘Stay Contract For Worker’.

“This contract. You can read first.” Hong Wen Yi pushed the paper over to Yu Qi.

Yu Qi picked it up and read it. 

“This amount ..” Yu Qi raised his face and looked at Hong Wen Yi.

“Is that not enough?” Hong Wen Yi asked.

“No... No.. It was too much in my opinion.” Yu Qi did not expect Hong Wen Yi to be so generous about it.

“It's worthwhile.” said Hong Wen Yi.

Yu Qi continued to read the contract. He is very happy with his contract. So, he signed it on the spot.

“Good. You can go and say hello to your partner now.” Hong Wen Yi smiled.

“Mrs Hong, thank you very much. I'll work harder.” Said Yu Qi expressing his gratitude.

Yu Qi started his job as a receptionist. Since he had already worked as one before, the task was easy for him. He was very happy with this workplace. Her other co-workers are 90% female. Only 10% of the men work at this hotel.

Lie if he says he is not affected by the incident where he was almost in by the child of the previous flower shop owner. However, he slowly overcame that feeling. There are many male customers who come and stay at the hotel. 

He did not return to the Wang House. He only gave the salary to the Wang Family every month by transferring the money directly into Madam Wang's account. The family also did not ask him the news as if he did not exist at all.

Yu Qi sat at the front desk doing his job by sorting the customer files. Then he heard the bell. The customer comes. He turned around and greeted the customer with a smile. It was an old man. He looks like a businessman. 

“Welcome to our hotel, Sir. Can I help you, Sir?” Yu Qi greeted the old man with a warm smile.

However, the old man did not answer his question. He looked at Yu Qi with a surprised expression on his face. 

“Master, are you okay?” Yu Qi asked.

As the old man did not respond to his question and did not move, Yu Qi approached him. Suddenly the old man grabbed onto Yu Qi. Since Yu Qi was still afraid of men, he was very frightened because the old man suddenly caught Yu Qi.

“Tell me what is your name?” The old man asked.

However, Yu Qi did not seem to have heard what the old man asked him. He shouted loudly.

“Let me go.”

The scream was very loud. The co-worker who happened to be nearby ran towards him. They saw the old man grabbing Yu Qi's hand while Yu Qi was crying in fear while pulling his hand from the old man. 

“Master, please let go of him.” One of my co-workers asked me well.

The old man realized the situation was a bit strange for others. He immediately released Yu Qi. Feeling the old man finally let go, Yu Qi quickly hid behind his co-worker while looking at the old man in fear. 

Because the situation was like this, they called Hong Wen Yi to settle it. The old man seemed to be unscrupulous. Hong Wen Yi came and invited the old man to his office with Yu Qi. 

Yu Qi actually did not want to get close to the old man but because of Hong Wen Yi's orders, he followed them to Hong Wen Yi's room.

“Mr...” Hong Wen Hi asked the old man's name.

“I Mu Guang Qi. Sorry for the previous behavior. However, there is something I want to ask the young girl next to you.” Mu Guang Qi apologized and looked at Yu Qi.

Yu Qi was still afraid of the old man but he looked at the old man in a daze.

“You can ask, Mr. Mu.” Hong Wen Yi made a decision for Yu Qi because Yu Qi did not respond.

“Can I know your name, young girl?” asked Mu Guang Qi.

“My name is Wang Yu Qi.” Yu Qi calmed down and answered his question.

“Are you an orphan?” Mu Guang Qi asked again.

Yu Qi frowned when he heard the question. “No, my parents are alive.” 

“Is there any chance you were adopted by them?” Mu Guang Qi was still asking questions.

Yu Qi was frowning. ‘Adopted by them?’ Those words were playing in his mind. Thinking about her family's attitude, she begins to suspect that she might be adopted by them. 

“I don't know.” Yu Qi replied with a trembling tone.

Hong Wen Yi was silent. He investigated Yu Qi earlier. His family did not seem to care about this girl at all. They only care about their salary. Every month, Yu Qi gave almost of his monthly salary to the family. He hasn't even taken time off since he started working at the hotel.

“Actually, I have a son. However, since I did not allow her to marry the woman she loved, they eloped. Since then, I have never found them again.” Mu Guang Qi told them a story.

“So, what does this have to do with me?” Yu Qi asked.

“Your face is similar to that of my late wife. Inevitably I thought that you were my grandson.” Mu Guang Qi looked at Yu Qi with a loving look.

“So can I meet your parents? They may be my son-in-law.” Mu Guang Qi asked with hope.

“I'll just look from afar. I won't see them directly. They may live happily. I just want to see them.” Mu Guang Qi said in a sad tone.

Seeing this kind of old man, Yu Qi felt he needed to help this old man. 

“Shiftku ended an hour later. In that case, we can go home to my house.” said Yu Qi.

“Well, actually you can take a day off. Someone will protect you.” Hong Wen Yi said to Yu Qi.

Yu Qi looked at Hong Wen Yi. Hong Wen Yi nodded with a smile.

“OK. Thank you, Mrs Hong.” Yu Qi bowed.
