Chapter 238

Yu Qi asked Su Yu Hi to book a room for their dinner at a nearby hotel. The hotel was the same as where Yu Qi had spent his night with Long Hui. 

After finishing their tasks for today, Yu Qi and his employees went to the hotel. While they were on their way to the room they had booked, someone stopped them. They did not know who this person expected for Yu Qi.

Yu Qi narrowed his eyes as his eyes were fixed on that person. He didn't expect to see her tonight. 

“Yu Qi, are you going to have dinner here too?” It was Bai Yu. He's with some men. Maybe friends.

“Everything, go first. You can order what you want but make sure it is something you can finish completely.” Yu Qi told his employees.

“OK, Miss Yu Qi.” The employees go ahead. 

“Bai Yu, who is this beautiful woman? Your boyfriend?” His friend teased Bai Yu.

“Bai Yu, you have to be careful because she has a lot of men around her.” Another friend spoke again. 

Yu Qi noticed that the friend was looking behind him. He turned. It was Ming Xuehai and Su Yu Hi who were standing behind him. 

“Why are you two still here?” Yu Qi was surprised. 

“Dangerous to leave you alone with these people.” Ming Xuehai looked at Bai Yu and her friends. 

However, Bai Yu's friend heard her. They just show their smiles. They were indeed Bai Yu's friends. They are also playboys. They also exchange girlfriends if they want to taste their friend's girlfriend. 

Since the beauty in front of them was Bai Yu's friend, they wanted to taste her when the opportunity arose.

“What? He's Bai Yu's boyfriend. We will take care of it carefully.” One of Bai Yu spoke while smiling ambiguously.

“Who are you calling his girlfriend?” Yu Qi asked that friend Bai Yu.

Friends look at each other. 

“You're not her boyfriend?” Another friend asked with unbelievable eyes. 

It seemed like they were not convinced by Yu Qi's statement. 

“I'm not even his friend.” Yu Qi smiled.

“Yu Qi...” Bai Yu wants to say something.

But Yu Qi cut him off. “Master Bai, please don't call me so close. We're not friends. Call me Miss Tang.” 

Bai Yu's face changed. Even his friends frowned. The mood has turned bad. Su Yu Hi and Ming Xuehai stepped forward protecting Yu Qi behind them.

“Miss Tang, you should understand the situation better. Otherwise, your family will end up in the gutter.” One of Bai Yu's friends threatened Yu Qi.

Yu Qi patted Ming Xuehai and Su Yu Hi on the shoulder. Yu Qi smiled confidently to the two of them. He stepped forward and faced the person who had just threatened him.

“I also advise you to be careful from now on because..” 

Yu Qi suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Bai Yu's friend who had threatened her. He pointed his finger at his neck.

“You can lose your mind just like that.” Yu Qi said in a normal tone that he used for others. He spoke like he was talking about good weather. 

The friend broke out in cold sweat on his back. He must have been scared by Yu Qi's talk. She's not a normal girl. What if instead of his finger, there was a knife placed. He might just lose his head. Yu Qi retreated to the side of Ming Xuehai and Su Yu Hi.

Yu Qi gave a warning. Whoever dares to harm his family, he will dare to kill anyone. He's not kidding about this. His Tang Family was the most precious thing in his life right now.

Others were very surprised when they saw this situation. How could he suddenly disappear and reappear like that? And he threatened them back. Who is this girl? Was he not afraid of the strength of the Bai Family?

“And as information, I already have a more handsome girlfriend than Mr. Bai here.” Yu Qi said while praising the appearance of his girlfriend.

Yu Qi was already not interested in talking to this group. He walked past Bai Yu and looked at her. 

“Bai Yu, is that girl really not your boyfriend?” The friend asked Bai Yu.

“Yes, she's not my girlfriend.. But.” Bai Yu grinned.

“Oh, you're still chasing him.” 

“But, he's very fast. I didn't see him walking behind you.”

“Concerting. If he was holding a knife back then, I might get hurt.” 

“What is his family's job? He doesn't seem to be afraid of your family, Bai Yu.”

“His family has a hospital, I guess.” Bai Yu replied.

“Then he only comes from a normal family.”

“Yu Qi, who are they?” Ask Ming Xuehai.

“Yes, one of them is a student at my University.” said Yu Qi.

“That Bai Yu?” Su Yu Hai asked.

“Ya.” Yu Qi nodded.

“Is the boy from the Bai Family?” Su Yu Hi assumed.

“True.” Yu Qi nodded again.

“Bai Family from the Capital?” Ming Xuehai also asked.

“Brother Xuehai also knows about them?” Yu Qi looked at Ming Xuehai.

He did not expect to know them now. 

“Yeah, I've done some research. Because they might be our rivals.” Ming Xuehai explained.

“Oh, our rival?” Yu Qi smiled.

“They have announced that they will launch their beauty products around winter of this year.” Ming Xuehai told Yu Qi.

“Let's forget this for now. Let's enjoy our dinner.” Yu Qi smiled.

Ding Na An also made the same choice. While others choose other places. 

“Then we will be together.” said Ding Na An. 

“Ya.” Yu Qi nodded.

“But are you two sure you'll be okay there? The living conditions there are very bad, you know.” Song Ha Ting asked in a worried tone.

“Do not worry. We can handle it.” Ding Na An patted Song Ha Ting's head like a mother patting her children.

“We will go directly after exam.” So Pang Lim sighed.

It is true that So Pang Lim has a better place to go as a volunteer but three months is a long time to live somewhere unknown without seeing his parents.

“Then, you should return home to see your parents this weekend. This is the last week before we will take the exam.” Ding Na An suggested.

“Ya it's true.” So Pang Lim nodded. He's coming home this weekend.

“Yes. The living conditions there are very bad. Is it okay for him to stay in such a place?” Another man asked. 

“You don't have to worry. She's a tough woman.” The man smiled.

The other man could only nod with the man's statement. 

“Apply request that I go to Chongbei City for inspection for three months.” The man asked.

“Iya.” Another man rolled his eyes because the man did not look at him. ‘If you are not worried about it, why do you ask to go to inspection there for three months? That's for three months. You can only say that you want to stay by his side. I'll understand.’

“We'll meet soon.” The man said with a smile looking at the picture of the girl.

Yu Qi had already told his family. His family, in particular, Aunt Ming Yue and Aunt Su Xiao became very worried about him. That place was not a safe place for a woman like Yu Qi to stay overnight. 

Yu Qi had just replied that he was going to stay in the military compound. Ordinary citizens were not allowed to enter the military compound just like that.

Her younger sister, Ding Na An is a brave girl but she is an ordinary citizen. Unlike him, Ding Guan Ye had been in the military for about 10 years.

“Sister Guan Ye, don't worry. We'll be fine.” Yu Qi replied on behalf of Ding Na An.

Ding Guan Ye finally saw his sister's friend. He was surprised to see Ding Na An's friend because it was someone he knew.

“Sister Guan Ye, nice to see you again.” Yu Qi greeted Ding Guan Ye.

“Yu Qi?” Ding Guan Ye asked for confirmation.

“Yes. I never thought we would meet here.” Yu Qi smiled.

“Why did this girl come here?” Ding Guan Ye sighed.

Yu Qi and Ding Na An only grinned at Ding Guan Ye.

“But Na An, you didn't tell your sister about this?” Yu Qi asked.

“Because I know he won't allow me to come here.” Ding Na An replied. “But as you have mentioned before, I also never thought he would be here too.”

Ding Guan Ye suddenly said. “Oh, that's why he's here too.” He nodded as he looked at Yu Qi as he realized something.

“You know them, Captain Ding?” The female soldiers came to ask when they saw their captain seemed to know the girls.

“Yes. This is my sister, Ding Na An and her friend, Tang Yu Qi.” Ding Guan Ye introduced them to others.

“Oh, why do soft girls like you come here from the beginning?” A person from the female soldier asked.

Yu Qi could hear the mocking tone in his question. “Not your business.” Yu Qi looked at him.

The female warrior looked furious when she heard Yu Qi answer her question like that. 

“You dare to answer my question like that?” The female warrior wanted to get close to Yu Qi. 

“Lang Jiang Ye's. Enough.” Ding Guan Ye stopped him.

The female warrior named Lang Jiang Ye stopped. He looked at Ding Guan Ye and then left the place. 

“Sorry about that, you two. Let me show you your bed. You will stay there for three months.” said Ding Guan Ye.
