Refusing Matchmaking
Chapter 12

John parked his luxury car neatly, got off the car and immediately rushed to get inside the restaurant because Laura contacted him if she had been there ten minutes ago. And because it felt bad already made Laura wait for a long time he also ran into the restaurant.

John's gaze was now fixed on a woman who was sitting at one of the tables, wrapped in a black dress by showing the beautiful back of the woman made John swallow his saliva with difficulty. John admitted that from the back, Laura was perfect. And he's pretty sure there's a lot of guys out there fighting to be his girlfriend.

"Have you been waiting for me for a long time?" John asked, sitting in front of Laura.

"you reckon? You've been wasting my time for 10 minutes, and you're gonna have to pay for it!" Laura replied that she was focused on the food in front of her.

John chuckles when he hears the words that come from Laura's lips, John thinks that the woman who will be his pretend lover is not an arbitrary woman. Laura is the kind of woman who is smart to take advantage of situations. But it is not a big deal for John if he only pays for the time Laura wasted waiting for him, the most important thing for John is that his plan goes smoothly and Agatha stops to match him to a woman he doesn't know.

"Well I'll pay for your time wasted waiting for me" John said, smiling at Laura and making her stop eating the food in front of him.

"It's good that you understand. So what's your goal to take me to lunch together? There's got to be another meaning, right?" Laura asked with her eyes looking seriously at John's face.

No answer was spoken from John, the man took his phone out of the suit and opened the camera feature and aimed at himself and Laura. The woman was silent because she did not understand what John was doing. Suddenly John tells Laura to pose for the camera, and John quickly presses the camera button on the phone.

"You are," Laura said as she slapped John's burly shoulder.

John just laughed in a loud enough voice because he saw Laura who now pursed her lips and looked very upset at John. John became very anxious when he saw Laura like that, but John immediately threw away his thoughts and returned to his goal of approaching Laura to make her his pretend lover.

After about an hour of John spending lunch with Laura, John finally returned to the hospital and resumed his duties to examine some patients who had been waiting for him since.

John is sitting on a sofa in the living room, Agatha is sitting right next to him. And the middle-aged woman was still focusing on the big screen in front of her and watching her favorite movie. Agatha occasionally glanced at John as if curious about what his granddaughter was doing.

John opened his picture with Laura this afternoon because he felt that his grandmother was watching him. He deliberately opened the photos so that Agatha saw and increasingly believed if she already had a lover. And the plan went well, Agatha trusted him and left John alone.
