Chapter 144: Fighting the ape demon
After Xiao Tian referred to them as cowards, hundreds of demons showed their true form. They are shaped like apes, human faces but all of their bodies are hairy like apes.
"So this is called a demon?"
"You don't look any different from the demons" Xiao Tian said.

Every punch and kick directed by the ape demon, he managed to field only by using his right hand.

From above the sky was a monkey demon with a golden armour so shiny, wearing a crown-like jewelry that was coiled on his head. The ape demon called him the monkey king Sun Wukong.
He stood at the end of the giant golden stick that had been stuck to the ground.
"Who dares to disturb the peace of all my family members!" bentak Wukong's.
"King of apes, help us!" said the Monkey monkeys.
"Don't I tell you, call me the Monkey God, I've been a God for a long time, your calling is outdated" WuKong said.
"God ape?"
"Maha."
"It's funny, where there's an ape who becomes a God." Xiao Tian laughed.
"You're not kidding, are you?"
"Shouldn't a God not interfere directly with world affairs?" whispered Xiao Tian.
"Hey God of lightning, what are you doing here?" wukong asked as she stared to the right of Xiao Tian.
"God of lightning?" the monkey demons were confused because they thought Wukong called Xiao Tian the Lightning God.
"Can you see it?" asked Xiao Tian.
"Of course, I'm a god too" Wukong continued.
"Senior Wukong, forgive us."
"We don't mean to mess up your place, we just want to help our friend who they've been holding" explained the God of Lightning.
Hearing the Lightning God's explanation, Wukong turned to ask his followers.
"All of you, is that true?" ask Wukong.
"What's right?" the ape demons did not know about what Wukong said because they could not see and hear the words of the Lightning God.
"Ask correctly, I can neither be seen nor heard in spirit form, have you forgotten?" ask the Lightning God.
"Ehm, I mean ... , is it true that you have hidden the bodies of these human friends?" ask Wukong.
"True, we did hide his friend, but it was all because his friend was a demon." continued the ape demon.
Hearing his followers' answers, Wukong jumped from the top of his giant golden staff.The wand turned small and flew into his hands.
He jumped right in front of one of his followers. "Can you tell me where you're hiding the demon?" ask Wukong.
"That's ... ," one of Wukong's followers turned his gaze away as if he was unwilling to give an answer to their God.
Unwilling to get an answer, Wukong asked another ape demon. But no one wants to answer. Because of this he became so upset that he said.
"Do you not trust me anymore?"
"I have indeed given orders to you, in order to capture all demons that violate the borders and expel all humans who dare to set foot in this place. Why are you all keeping your mouths shut?"
"Did you kill the devil?" ask Wukong.
"No, that's not the problem!"
"We sent him into an ice maze" replied one of the ape demons.
"What did you say!" bentak Wukong's.
Wukong looked so wrathful from hearing the word Ice Labyrinth. Seeing the wrath of their God, the monkey demons tried to prostrate while begging for mercy while enduring pain from the severe injuries they suffered.
"Punish us monkey gods!" said the monkey demon.
Xiao kept silent because he did not want to be targeted by Wukong who was looking so emotional. Despite having many questions in his heart, he buried the questions deeply while waiting for Wukong to calm down again.
"What is an ice maze?" thought Xiao Tian.
Xiao Tian gazed towards the Lightning God to dispel his curiosity about the ice labyrinth. The Lightning God understood Xiao Tian's intentions when they came face to face.
Through telepathy, they discussed each other.
"God of Lightning, do you know what an ice maze is?" asked Xiao Tian.
