Chapter 161: Towards the ice palace
Xiao Tian flew towards the keyhole towards the ice dimension. The keyhole was located some distance away from the secret cave, on the way Xiao Tian asked about the cultivation changes to his body to the Lightning God.
To meet the lightning god, Xiao Tian simply uttered his name through telepathy.
"God of Lightning, come!"
"I need your help" Xiao Tian said through telepathy.
After repeatedly summoning the Lightning God, finally the Lightning God appeared right at Xiao Tian's right.

"Didn't all that power come from Sunlong?" asked Xiao Tian.
"That's all because of the black sphere of light inside your body, it absorbed all the demonic air as Sunlong gave all his strength to you. With the absorption of all the demonic air contained from within the power that Sunlong sent, the power that reached you was only pure qi power that contained no demonic air." explained the Lightning God.
"Is it good for me, or is it the opposite?" asked Xiao Tian.
"Pure Qi that reaches your body is a good thing. However, the demonic air that the black light orb absorbed within your body was a bad thing." replied the Lightning God.
"You mean?" asked Xiao Tian.
The Lightning God explained to Xiao Tian, that the ball of black light was the embodiment of hatred, anger, fear and despair. The more negative power the black beam orb absorbed, the more likely it was that Xiao Tian would rampage uncontrollably.
"I'm going berserk?" asked Xiao Tian.
"Truely, the more negative power the black ray ball absorbs, the more likely you are to go berserk."
"Just like when you were fighting thousands of tiger demons, you even nearly finished off the Kaibo and the giant black dragon of that time" explained the Lightning God.
"So I really went berserk that time?"
"Then, did the me that time look exactly the same as my dark side that I was fighting against while in a maze of ice?" asked Xiao Tian.
"Persis, very exactly."
"If you haven't been able to control the black sphere, maybe you could have been even fiercer than you were at that time" explained the Lightning God.
"Then what should I do?" asked Xiao Tian.
"Keep guarding your consciousness, fight your dark side if one day it tries to master you, and for a time, never try to control the dark element." explained the God of Lightning.

After all the questions that had been lodged in his heart had been answered by the Lightning God, Xiao Tian could focus in his goal of storming the ice palace.
Ever since Xiao Tian and the Lightning God conversed for quite a long time on the back of the giant black dragon, they did not stop moving towards the location of the ice-dimensional keyhole as the black dragon continued to fly non-stop from the exit of the secret cave.
After flying long enough to the north, they saw a towering ice tower. At the top of the tower there is a key hole to the ice dimension. Xiao Tian leaped to the top of the tower as the black dragon was right on top of it.
After the ice dimension key had been installed at the top of the tower, Xiao Tian turned the key around to open the portal towards the ice dimension.
"Prepare for your death, demon lord Lanbing!" xiao Tian said as he turned the ice dimensional key that had been installed in the keyhole at the top of the tower.
Instantly a light blue portal of such a large size appeared above the tower. The portal appeared right before the gigantic black dragon that was still flying above the top of the ice tower.
After the portal towards the ice dimension opened, Xiao Tian leaped onto the back of the giant black dragon. They flew into the portal at high speed.
After entering the portal, Xiao Tian and the giant black dragon were inside the ice dimension. The gigantic black dragon carried Xiao Tian flying straight towards the ice palace at high speed.
After reaching the territory of the ice palace, Xiao Tian was blocked by eight demon generals who were subordinates of the demon king Lanbing.
The bodies of the demon generals looked exactly like humans, it was clear that the demon generals had swallowed the holy pill.
"What are you doing here, man?" said the demon generals who flew before the giant black dragon while riding the demon eagle.
Eight demon eagles, and eight polar bear demon generals who had evolved into high-level demons were on par with king-level fighters. It was now flying against the black dragon and Xiao Tian.
Despite being confronted by the eight demon generals who had swallowed the holy pill, Xiao Tak felt the slightest fear. Because his strength this time was far above the strength of those demon generals.

He had jumped onto one of the demon eagles at high speed. When he was right in front of one of the demon generals, Xiao Tian directly struck him with his right hand which he had coated with such powerful qi energy.

Meanwhile, a gigantic black dragon spouted a blue fireball towards one of the demon eagles. The explosion of the blue fireball that the black dragon unleashed made the demon general along with the demon eagle hurt so badly.

"First brother, second brother!" shouted one of the demon generals who was surprised to see his two elder brothers defeated in the blink of an eye.
When his gaze focused onto the giant black dragon, one of the demon generals who had just shouted was kicked by Xiao Tian who suddenly appeared before him.
"Meet your two brothers in hell!"

"Fourth sister!" shouted one of the demon generals.
The giant black dragon spouted its yellow fireball towards the remaining demon eagles. The yellow flames were not as strong as the blue flames, so the only ones injured were the demonic eagles that were directly hit by the fireball.
After kicking one of the demon generals, Xiao Tian jumped off the top of the demon eagle he was riding on by concentrating the qi energy on both of his legs. In order to speed up his jumping movements, Xiao Tian stomped his feet so hard right on the back of the demonic eagle he was riding on. Not only did he do so to speed up the movement, Xiao Tian also planned to finish off the demonic eagle by stomping his foot which had been coated in such powerful qi energy.

When the demonic eagles lost their balance due to the injuries they received from the yellow fireball of the giant black dragon. Xiao Tian finished off the demon generals who were still on top of the demon eagles by kicking and hitting the remaining demon generals.

After finishing finishing off the demon generals, Xiao Tian leaped onto the back of the black dragon. Eight badly wounded demon eagles fell to the ground at high speed. The seven demon generals that Xiao Tian had beaten so far north toward the ice palace.

"Curtain, troublesome." said the demon lord Lanbing.
"Strictly guard, and prepare for his arrival."
"It looks like we're going to face a person who is quite troublesome." asserted the demon king Lanbing.
"Every noble one" said the guards.
