Chapter 170: The god of medicine and its secrets
After successfully opening the chest that stored the body of the Medicine God, the Lightning God and Xiao Tian were made to be shocked by the sight they saw.

At that time Xiao Tian was around 5 years old. Despite being so young, he was often given orders to study the court order. All of that was because he was the only prince that existed in the kingdom of lightning. Xiao Tian who was bored with the palace rules always tried to run away but was always caught and ended up getting punished when his mother was not in the palace.
Seeing her son being bothered by her husband Xiao Hong provided her son with a face-changing mask and a space ring containing commoner clothes so that his son could leave the palace. With the record can not go out of the kingdom and away from dangerous territory without telling it.
Despite giving Xiao Tian freedom, Xiao Hong did not completely let go of his beloved son. He still had some soldiers to keep an eye on while protecting Xiao Tian unbeknownst to his son.

Although Xiao Tian was also unable to bear the stench that came from the old man's wound, he could not bear to see the old man crying while asking for water.
Holding his breath Xiao Tian brought the drinking water stored within his spatial ring to give to the old man. After giving the old man some water to drink, Xiao Tian offered him his food supply which he also stored in his spatial ring.
The old man ate like a man who had never touched food for days. Seeing the old man so greedy, Xiao Tian gave him some more food and drinks.
Without a doubt the old man ate all the food and drink Xiao Tian had left. Despite having finished off all the food the old man still asked for additional food.
"Sorry Grandpa, I don't have any more food."
"I've given grandfather all my food for one week." Xiao Tian stared at the old man with a smile.
"It's okay, son. Although only slightly stuck in grandfather's stomach. The food you provided was enough to give grandfather a little energy." the old man continued with a smile towards Xiao Tian.

"Actually how much food she needs to make her feel full."

"Meet me on the narrow street near the town of Shandian. Bring all those ingredients if you are interested in becoming an alchemist." explained the old man.
Xiao Tian still did not understand the intent of the old man, yet he was quite curious about the so-called alchemist.
Out of curiosity, Xiao Tian finally opened the contents of the paper. But he did not understand the meaning of the writing because he had never learned to read. To find out the meaning of the writing, Xiao Tian asked the surrounding residents about the meaning of the writing.
"Dragon thorn grass, Cinnamon root, Red jade mushroom, skyscraper moss. These are all wild plants you can find anywhere, why are you looking for all this?" asked one of the residents while holding the note paper that Xiao Tian gave.
"Is that easy?"
"If it's so easy to find, can you tell me what these things look like?" asked Xiao Tian.
"How much do you need?" ask the man.
"As much as possible" Xiao Tian replied.
"How much money do you have?" ask the man.
"I don't hold any money" Xiao Tian replied.

"At least give me back the note I have in your hand." Xiao Tian stared at the man in annoyance.

He also kept all the herbal ingredients as well as the gold coins that were in front of him.
After storing all the materials he needed, Xiao Tian went to the slums of Shandian city to meet the old man who had given him the note.
When he arrived at his destination, he saw the old man meditating in a narrow alley at the border of the slums of Shandian city. Without any hesitation he approached the old man and immediately greeted him while closing both nostrils.
"Hey grandfather, I've found all the materials you need" Xiao Tian said as he walked up to the old man.
Xiao Tian took out the materials the old man requested from his spatial ring without any hesitation.
"As expected of a prince." replied the old man.
"Grandfather how, I'm just a commoner like grandfather. My clothes alone were still very seedy, how could I be called a prince," Xiao Tian tried to dodge the old man's words.
"If your clothes are hard to believe, but I can tell clearly through your space ring. Where there was a little boy from the slums, could have a space ring and could get the materials I needed in just a short period of time." The old man looked towards Xiao Tian.
"What's wrong, I'm not gonna break your little secret. I like the name Yanyan anyway. It's just that, next time never use that space ring of yours in front of everyone to keep your identity," the old man explained.
