Rai and the Devil

In between time Rai is getting serious.

"It's time, isn't it?" The sound that rang out broke Rai's daydream.

Rai's eyeballs move from right to left slowly to the corner of his eyes right to catch the figure of the person who at that time also immediately changed his feelings to be very upset. Rai just clenched his hands tightly, his sharp eyes did not stop stopping his attention carelessly. Even though he was silent but showed that his silence at that time did not mean that he accepted the words that person said to him.

"Just be quiet. Maybe that means it's free now." Followed by a little grinning smile and a small laugh that made Rai more irritated.

"Don't go with Hyerin. And quickly get out of front of me now!" Unexpectedly Rai moved quickly over, with emotions already ignited he then snapped at the person before him with a slight tone of threat.

"But your hands!" The two pairs of eyes now exchanged glances with each other. The distance between Rai and that person was so close that it did not leave a single distance between Rai's body. "And this dirty hand!" He said again while confirming Rai's hand that had pulled the collar tightly. It was not easy, Rai who was already unable to control his anger continued to fight. Eventually the two just kept looking at each other and fell silent to each other.

"alright. The devil always wants to win." Rai said more cynically and moved slightly away.

"And man is always stupid!" Answer the person who further added to Rai's annoyance.

Rai was more aggressive, he moved fast again approaching.

"Man." Said the person leisurely half-mocking.

Rai could not dodge anymore he prepared to raise his fist, but once again failed. That person did not keep quiet and without having to be as strong as Rai he held back Rai's fist easily. While Rai just fell silent did not show if he had a little trouble moving. But because the control of the person was more dominant Rai's hand was easily kept away from his face and replied to Rai with a slight grin.

Rai was furious but with his emotions he could not win from the demon who had long lived in that spirit world. A pact cursed the demon so that it could enter the spirit world and become Rai's incarnation.

On one side Rai felt astonished why this time the demon power was more dominant, even though if Rai touched it the demon could be weak. Suddenly a line of worry was clearly drawn on his face at that moment. Rai swallowed deeply into the feeling of worry that kept haunting from time to time, he could no longer gain his confidence like he used to. Hyerin's face that continues to be clearly drawn is increasingly adding to her feelings of worry. Because it turned out to be a problem not only with the demon earlier, but also with Hyerin.

Hyerin's shadow in Rai's eyes that continued to look dazed because her memories were lost and sometimes appeared again but not all of them. He could not admit it was because he had used a bit of demonic energy to help Hyerin when she was about to die as a curious spirit. Rai could not stop his guilt either, but all of that seemed to be wanting to be avoided.

Half frustrated Rai can only keep pacing back and forth on the spot and bring himself back dissolved in a daydream that he never showed anyone his misgivings and weak state at that time.

Suddenly Akemi's figure reappeared in his mind.

After Hyerin recalled Akemi again and now she herself received that memory.

"What do you want Rai to do? Stop Rai! It's just a lie don't be ambitious with the rumors, because it's impossible if the human who becomes a spirit can live long and become a god of death." The words are like a recording that gives every detail a precise listen. And now those words appear to air in memory.

Do I have to regret? What about this increasingly uncontrollable situation? Questions keep coming up. His conscience is shaky, Rai is no longer strong and always confident as before and things are not as they used to be, everything is not like before.

Rai stood up in annoyance. All the questions that came from his own heart upset Rai because most of him could not admit if all the events were a reciprocal of his determination when it used to be until now. And he kept rejecting all things out of that control because of him, too. He was extremely frustrated after hearing the demon earlier that had always become similar to him as if it was the other side of him.

What's he supposed to do now?

Rai can only bite his fingers and go back to drowning in daydreams that have managed to make him become slumped like now until his confidence is also lost.

There is no one who is easy to trust. Rai has no friends and no one, except many people who know him and avoid him very much.

His body rose up, his facial expression slightly showing a stratagem that had suddenly appeared.

It's not wrong, if he meets one person and gets him into trouble. Rai thought a little harder, he could not think of any other way than that which at first glance he thought could solve all the problems. But who would he involve and trust in this matter? It should be that person other than Hyerin. Of course not Hyerin.

An increasingly assertive feeling of worry made Rai annoyed and rushed to leave a familiar place.

Rai's hasty movements approached a door that was clearly plastered before his eyes. His hands began to pull the doorknob casually and his two pairs of eyes immediately moved and caught the figure of the person instantly making his eyes widen in disbelief. Rai could not control himself, who was shocked to see Hyerin was already in the doorway.

Hyerin was already in front of him putting on an annoyed face and worse than she had seen earlier.

It shouldn't be careless like this. It was likely that Hyerin eavesdropped on her conversation earlier and the identity of the demon. Rai was getting more panicked he immediately approached Hyerin who was each acting coldly expressionless.

"Evil!" Hyerin.

A short word that could instantly describe all his conjectures.

Hyerin quickly went running away, even Rai just made her speech helpless again. Rai did not prevent it or immediately followed, because all of it was in vain. Hyerin would just be even more furious and it could be that something happened outside of her control.

Finished already, Rai could not stop everything that had suddenly become a shock. Trouble seemed to be punishing him unilaterally. Now what steps will he take?
